The True Meaning of Friendship Chapter 2

Sunlight filtered through Flutter Sparkle’s bedroom window as the mare opened her eyes, awakening from her slumber. The mare felt two forelegs around her neck and at first, was frightened that a monster was in her bed, but quickly remembered the events of yesterday in her mind.

She looked behind her a saw her friend Bravery, sleeping peacefully while still holding her in his loving embrace.

“He’s even adorable when he’s sleeping.” Thought Flutter Sparkle as she turned over to look at the clock on her bedside table.

“Nine thirty. Time to get up.” She thought, getting out of bed and walking downstairs, her wet diaper drooping down from the extra weight.

After going into the living room and changing her diaper, removing the tapes, wiping herself clean with some wipes, and applying some foal powder and diaper rash cream to herself, she sealed the tapes on her new diaper, wrapping the old one up and walking into her kitchen to dispose of it and make her and her guest some breakfast.

Flutter Sparkle began looking through the boxes around her kitchen and eventually finding two plates and a frying pan, setting the pan on the stove and the plates beside that on the counter. The mare then began gathering ingredients to make some pancakes, mixing all the ingredients together and putting the batter into the pan. By the time the last pancake was made, Bravery came downstairs, now dressed back in his white suit.

“Good morning Flutter Sparkle.” Said Bravery, a smile on his face at seeing his new friend again.

“Good morning Bravery. Sleep well?” Flutter Sparkle asked.

Bravery blushed. “Yeah, great actually.”

Flutter Sparkle picked up the two plates of pancakes and sat them on her back, walking over to the table and placing them both in front of two of the four chairs that were there.

“Take a seat and have some breakfast. Hope you’re hungry.” Said Flutter Sparkle.

Bravery gladly walked over, taking a seat and gazing at the delicious pancakes before him.

“You really didn’t have to do this. I could’ve just gotten something to eat on my way to work.” He said.

“Nonsense, you’re my guest, and besides, you said you’d take me there today.” Said Flutter Sparkle.

“Well thank you.” Said Bravery, eagerly digging into his breakfast. “These are great!”

Flutter Sparkle blushed. “You’re too kind, and you’re welcome.” She said, eagerly beginning to dig into her own stack of pancakes.

The two ate and chatted, mostly upon what Flutter Sparkle would experience once at Bravery’s place of work.

“So it’s basically like a daycare.” Said Flutter Sparkle, taking another bite of her pancakes.

“Right, each stallion or mare is taken care of and treated like a foal, although how deep they want the experience to be is there decision.” Said Bravery, taking a drink of milk from the glass Flutter Sparkle had poured for him.

“How deep can the experience go?” asked Flutter Sparkle, her curiosity about the place gaining with each word Bravery spoke.

“To a newborn foal if that’s how far they want to go back. The staff knows spells to put the mind in an almost dreamlike state, making them more sustainable to suggestions. The staff member than basically tells the pony the mindset they want them to have, once this is done, they’re reawakened with that mindset and we take care of them for the day. We can even give the pony the experience of being reborn from their mother’s womb.” Said Bravery, watching Flutter Sparkle on the edge of her seat from every detail he spoke.

“What can you have them do?” Asked Flutter Sparkle.

“Just about anything. We can reduce, or completely get rid of their toilet training, make them more curious to things around them, make them see us as their moms or dads. Whatever they want.” Said Bravery.

“Does it hurt? Is it scary?” Asked Flutter Sparkle, worried about what may happen to her if she choose to do this.

“Not at all. We care about all our little foals, and want them to feel as happy and safe as possible at all times. Everypony I’ve done it to seems in complete bliss when I do it to them.” Said Bravery, a smile on his face remembering the happy faces.

“What else can you all do? Do we have to be put under hypnosis?” Asked Flutter Sparkle, now clearing her and Bravery’s plates and rinsing them in the sink to be washed later.

“No, actually the most subtle things we can do is put them in a pull-up and some childish cloths and give them a daycare like experience, with them just letting their imaginations guide them. They can even interact with other adult foals like them. We recommend this for all new arrivals, but what they want is up to them.” Said Bavery. “Oh! Ten thirty, we better get going, my shift starts soon.”

“Great! Let’s go!” Said Flutter Sparkle, eager to try this new experience.

“Uh Flutter Sparkle,” Said Bravery pointing to her wet diaper. “Looks like you need a change.”

Flutter Sparkle blushed. She was so excited about going with Bravery to the daycare that she hadn’t even noticed her diaper was wet.

“Come on into the living room and I’ll change you.” Said Bravery, walking into the other room to get everything ready.

Flutter Sparkle followed, coming into the living room and laying down on the changing mat so Bravery could work.

Once again, a strange nostalgia came over Flutter Sparkle. She liked being cared for. It made her feel like she didn’t have a care in the world, like nothing else mattered. “This feeling.” Thought Flutter Sparkle. “It feels so right, but, is this really what I want?” She looked up at Bravery. “Is it because of him? Is it because I’ve finally found somepony that accepts me for who I am?”

“All done!” Said Bravery, giving her padded bottom a playful swat and knocking Flutter Sparkle out of her deep thoughts. Bravery then helped her to her hooves, and she went upstairs to get dressed. She returned a few minutes later, wearing a purple shirt with her cutie mark on it and her navy blue skirt like she wore yesterday.

“You know, you really do look cute in that outfit.” Said Bravery, holding the door open for Flutter Sparkle.

“Really? Thanks!” Said Flutter Sparkle, walking outside with Bravery closing the door behind him and taking the lead, leading them both to the daycare.

The two friends walked and talked, making conversation as not to make the situation awkward. Flutter Sparkle was just telling Bravery about her family’s vacation to Las Pegasus when she suddenly shrieked and hid behind Bravery, shaking with fear.

‘Hey, what’s wrong? What is it?” Said Bravery, bending down and looking the mare in her eyes.

“It-It’s th-them.” Said Flutter Sparkle, pointing a hoof down the street.

Bravery followed her jester, looking down the street and seeing the two fillies who had teased her yesterday.

The two grade school fillies were walking down the street, skirts now adorning their flanks to hide their diapered bottoms.

“It’s alright.” Said Bravery, turning back to Flutter Sparkle and coaxing her to her feet. “They aren’t going to bother you. I’m here, and if they do, I’ll make them stop. I promise.”

Flutter Sparkle nodded and began walking alongside Bravery again walking past the two grade school fillies who blushed as the Bravery and Flutter Sparkle walked past.

When they had rounded the corner, Bravery spoke. “You see, told you they wouldn’t be a problem.” Said Bravery. “Now come on, you were just telling me about the view of the city from up in the mountains.

Flutter Sparkle continued her story, and it wasn’t long before Bravery stopped walking and arrived at their destination.

“Here we are.” Said Bravery, jesting to the building in front of them.

Flutter Sparkle looked at it with interest. The building was all white except for the sign which said, “Pokey’s Pony Daycare, for the foal in all of us” which was written how a foal would write it in crayon.

“Let’s get you signed in.” Said Bravery, leading Flutter Sparkle to the door and holding it open for her.

Inside the building looked how you’d expect a foal daycare center to look. Numbers and letters were painted on the walls, as well as teddy bears and other things cubs liked. At the desk stood a gray unicorn with a diaper pin as his cutie mark with a blue coat and light blue and white mane. He had a trusting nature about him, a relaxed posture and handsome look that just made you feel safe.

“Hey Pokey, how’s everything going?” Said Bravery as he walked over to the counter, giving Pokey a hug.

“Not too bad Bravery. All the foals have almost arrived. Just two more ponies and that’s everpony. I take it she’s a new charge?” Said Pokey, jesting to Flutter Sparkle.

“Yeah. This is Flutter Sparkle. She’s new in town and wanted to try our place out.” Said Bravery.

“Nice to meet you Flutter Sparkle.” Said Pokey, offering a hoof to shake which Flutter gladly accepted.

“So do you know what kind of care you’d like to receive? This being your first time we would recommend putting you in a basic daycare setting where we’d just take care of you and you can interact and socialize with other adult foals. Does this sound ok to you?”

“I guess so. I don’t really wanna rush into it too fast.” Said Flutter Sparkle.

“That’s understandable. Please don’t worry too much though. This is a warm and comforting world you’re entering into Miss Sparkle. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time with us. Just follow Bravery and he’ll show you to our daycare center. Feel free to stay as long as you like or leave whenever you are ready.”

“Right this way then.” Said Bravery jestering down the hall.

“Thank you!” Said flutter Sparkle, following behind Bravery.

“So you excited?” Asked Bravery.

“Actually yes. But will you be there with me? I’m still a little scared.” Said Flutter Sparkle, easing closer to Bravery.

“Of course. All our charges are in this room. We find it easier for them to be themselves with others. I promise no one here will judge you.” Said Bravery, stopping in front of a door with lod noise coming from inside.

“Here we are!” Said bravery opening the door.
The sight the greeted Flutter Sparkle was one that left her both mesmerized and astounded.

The place looked like any normal daycare, except that everything was sized for full grown ponies.

There was a book shelf against one wall where a purple unicorn wearing a red dress appeared to be reading foal’s book inside a book fort, in another part of the room a pink earth pony wearing nothing but a pink soiled diaper and a white unicorn wearing a purple bedazzled shirt that matched her mane were drawing different things with crayons on construction paper, in one corner of the room there was a yellow pegasus caretaker in a rocking chair with a orange earth pony in her lap feeding her a bottle, over by toy chest a cyan colored pony played with toy soldiers making them fight each other, and even more ponies all around the room playing with different foal toys and all in a childish type of clothing.

“Whatcha think?” Asked Bravery a smug smile on his face.

“It’s wonderful!” Said Flutter sparkle as she gazed around at everything once more. “It just feels so warm and inviting.”

“I’m glad you like it. Now, would you like anything different to wear or a different type of diaper? We’ve got different styles and thickness of diapers as well as other cloths for everpony to wear.”

Flutter Sparkle thought for a moment. “I think I’ll just stick with what I have on for now.” She said. She figured she might try that out another day.

“Alright then. Go on and play then. If you need anything, just let me know.” Said Bravery as he walked over to go change the pink pony into a fresh diaper.

Flutter Sparkle decided to wander over to the purple unicorn that was reading. She seemed quiet and nice to start off talking to.

She wandered over and stood outside of the book fort, where the noticeable bulge of a diaper was visible under the mare’s dress.

The purple pony soon took notice of the visitor outside her fort and looked up from her book to address her.

“Oh hi! You must be new here. Would you like to read with me?”

Flutter Sparkle nodded shyly. She did like reading when she had free time.

She crawled in next to the mare with the same colored coat as her and got cozy.

“Any book you had in mind?” asked the unicorn.

“Goldielocks and the three dragons sounds nice.” Said Flutter Sparkle.

The unicorn smiled and levitated the book toward her. “That’s a good one. I’m Twilight Sparkle by the way.”

“Flutter Sparkle.” Said Flutter.

“How long have you been an adult foal?” Said Twilight.

“My whole life I guess. I’ve been stuck in diapers for forever. I’ve just never been able to be potty trained. Doctors couldn’t figure it out.” Said Flutter Sparkle, tears welling up in her eyes. “I hate thinking about it.”

“Hey come here.” Said Twilight, bringing the fellow unicorn into a hug. “You don’t have to worry about it here. In fact, a lot of ponies here may envy you. I’d know I’d like to keep my diaper on all the time. You have an excuse for it so they have no place to pick on you.”

Flutter Sparkle sniffled. “You really think so?” Said Flutter Sparkle.

“Of course. It’s just part of who you are. You can’t help it. Besides, I think it makes you look cute.” Said Twilight Sparkle.

Flutter Sparkle blushed. “Thanks Twilight. You’re so nice.”

The two ponies continued talking for the next hour or so, reading their books and talking to each other about their lives.

Twilight explained how she had gotten into diapers after reminiscing about her foalhood one day and realized she had grown up quite fast and decided to experience what it was like to act like a foal. She was surprised to find it quite enjoyable and decided to embrace her foalish side and found the daycare. Plus her friends sharing the same interest made it even more enjoyable.

“Wow, so you don’t feel shy that your friends know you wear diapers?” Asked Flutter Sparkle.

“Not at all. Even if they didn’t wear them also we’re still friends. We can share things with each other. Just like you and Bravery.” Said Twilight.

Flutter Sparkle smiled. She did feel like she could be honest with Bravery. He certainly had been a good friend for just meeting her.

Suddenly Flutter Sparkle felt the crapping in her stomach that told her she was about to mess her diaper.

She began to get up and get out for risk of stinking up the book fort when twilight stopped her.

“Where are you going?” Asked Twilight.

“Well I didn’t want to make the fort smell so I was gonna do it outside.”

“Oh I don’t mind. Stay. I wanna talk more with you.” Said Twilight, patting the space to her side.

“Well o-ok.” Said Flutter Sparkle blushing a little. Going in her diaper in public was different since no one actually knew she was even wearing one or when she would go. Messing her diaper next to another pony just felt, odd.

She crawled back next to Twilight and settled back in. A look of embarrassment apparent on her face.

“Just try and relax.” Said Twilight. “Close your eyes and focus on the feeling. You may be surprised how great it feels.”

Flutter did ask Twilight told her, focusing as she pushed the waste into the seat of her diaper and feeling it compressed against her butt. It felt warm and squishy and surprisingly relaxing.

She let out a sigh as she finished, then sat back onto the floor and felt the mess spread even more around the seat and into the front of her diaper, letting an excited eepp escape her muzzle and a grin cross her face.

“Enjoying yourself?” Said Twilight with a smug smile on her face.

“Oh yes!” Said flutter Sparkle still inthralled with the feelings messing her diaper gave her. It made her feel so young and carefree.

“I knew you’d like it.” Said Twilight. I remember my first time. I loved it so much.

The two both continued reading when Flutter had a thought.

“Have I been living in fear all these years about my diaper predicament for nothing? Did I just assume everypony was only seeing me as a pathetic diapered mare?”

Flutter Sparkle thought about this until Twilight nudged her in her side and told her it was time to go.

The two climbed out of the book fort and got in line to be changed where Twilight introduced her to her friends Rarity, Pinkie pie, Rainbow dash, and Applejack, who all gave her a happy hello and made her feel very welcome.

It wasn’t long until they both got to the front of the line and a yellow pegasus about their age lifted twilight up and onto the changing table where Flutter Sparkle was surprised at just how used Twilight’s diaper was.

The front of her diaper was completely stained yellow and the seat of her diaper completely brown.

“How in Equestria is your diaper holding all that? Mine can barely standing two wettings and one mess.” Said Flutter Sparkle astounded.

“They’re special diapers the daycare sells.” Said Twilight as she was changed out of her diaper for the day. “I’m sure Pokey would be more than happy to sell you a pack.”

“I may just have to take him up on that.” Said Flutter Sparkle as Twilight stepped down of the changing table, her rump now clean and no diaper adorning it.
“This is Fluttershy by the way. She’s one of the caretakers here and another one of my best friends.” Said Twilight.

“Nice to meet you.” Said Fluttershy as she helped Flutter Sparkle up onto the table while Twilight waited next to it.

The pegasus took careful care as she untapped the diaper from Flutter Sparkle’s waist, lifting her legs up and sliding the diaper out from under her and wiping her clean before tapping a fresh, clean diaper around her waist.

“There you are little one. Hope to see you here again tomorrow!” Said Fluttershy as Flutter Sparkle stepped down off the changing table and meet with Twilight to say goodbye.

“It was really nice hanging out with you today Twilight. I hope we can do it again tomorrow.” Said Flutter.

“Of course. I’m sure my other friends will love hanging out with you too though.” Said Twilight as the two made their way to the lobby for Flutter to meet up with Bravery and Twilight to meet up with her friends.

“Bye Flutter! See ya tomorrow!” Said Twilight as she and her friends left.

“So did you enjoy today?” Asked Bravery. “I saw you hanging out with Twilight.”

“Oh it was wonderful! I felt so normal for once and not the manticore in the room.” Said Flutter Sparkle.

“That’s great. Would you like me to walk you home?” Said Bravery.

“That sounds wonderful.” Said Flutter Sparkle.

The whole way home the two ponies talked about their days respectively and Flutter Sparkle visibly seemed much more confident with herself then on her way there that morning.

It wasn’t long before both ponies were at Flutter Sparkle’s residence and where, after a quick dinner together and a farewell from Bravery, Flutter Sparkle had cleaned up the dishes, got a shower, put on a fresh diaper, and turned in for the night.

As she sat in bed, she reflected on her day. It had been the most fun she’d had since she hadn’t known when. She had made another new friend and for the first time felt a bit comfortable with the poofy garment between her legs. She was sure she’d be back at the daycare more often.

As she was about to doze off, she felt the knowing feeling of herself about to wet her diaper.

Just as twilight had told her, she relaxed and thought of herself as just a little foal, going in her diaper like she was supposed to. As she finished, feeling the warm pee against her crotch, two words escaped her muzzle in a whisper.

“Good baby…”

After over a year of not being able to work much on this story I finally managed to finish the next chapter. i wanna apologize for taking so long. My junior year of high school as well as my job just made things a bit tricky to try and get stuff done. Also couple with the fact i needed some real inspiration. But now it's hear, and I may actually make another! This summer actually! And yes I do really mean that. I think I've got a good idea where I want the story to go and to where you all are gonna like it. Anyway, enjoy and tell me what you think of the new chapter!
