Introduction / Why? [Rewritten]

I was just walking through the park with my friend Queens Berry, but I call him Berry. He is one of my three best friends but I often hang out with him. He is the most talkative earth pony I have ever met. He has a dark green fur, a light green mane and a dyed blue tail. My name is Pico. I'm an earth pony who likes to spend time with my friends. I have a black colored mane and tail. I have a white colored fur and my cutiemark is a pi. We were just discussing about our party for the upcoming Hearth's Warming Eve since it is just weeks away. "It would be fun to have a lot of tough cider in the party." I said to Berry.

"It would be also fun if there would be some mare at the party." he replied.

"I'm not really used to that kind of party, all I want is a normal get together."

"Whatever Pico but I know Joe will like it." he punched me in the shoulder softly.

"How about Enigma and Quick Write?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Every stallion likes to have a mare in a party." he chuckled.

"Except for me." I gave him a friendly push. As we walk through the park I saw a mare earth pony living in a box just beside the tree. The tree was not too far on our left side.

"Don't you think it is a bit sad to see homeless pony especially when Heart's Warming Eve is about to come?" I pointed out the mare on our left side.

"It is sad." we stopped for a moment.

"Maybe I should help her out and besides it is starting to get cold." I opened my saddle and then brought out my scarf. I tied the scarf around my neck. I tried to fix my mane so I won't make a bad impression on the mare.

"Don't you think it would be a trouble?" Berry raised his eyebrow at me. I turned my head to look at Berry.

"Not really." I replied to him with a small chuckle. I walked towards the mare while Berry followed me. I stood in front of the mare who is laying down inside a box.

"What would you like?" the mare asked me with a smile but I could still see the sadness in her face. She has a brown fur and darker brown color for the mane and tail. She had a beautiful blue eyes. Her cutiemark is a heart. She pointed out a cardboard just beside her. 5 bits for a hoofjob, 10 bits for full time and 20 bits for everything.

"20 bits for everything." I said to the mare. I opened my saddle and brought out 20 bits. As I handed my bits Berry grabbed my hoof.

"I thought you were going to help her?" Berry asked with a curious face.

"I am, just trust me." I said to Berry. I handed my bits to the mare. "Come with me to my home." I said to the mare. Me and Berry walked out of the park with the mare. Berry moved his muzzle closer to my ear as we walk.

"Are you sure about this?" Berry whispered to my ears. I just nodded without looking at him. I turned my attention to the mare.

"So what's your name?" I asked the mare with a smile.

"It's Amabel." the mare replied timidly. She looked away from eyes. She tried to hide her face with her mane. I moved her mane that is blocking her face.

"There, much better." I said to her. We finally reached my home. My home isn't really that big. It has a small living room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom.

"See you whenever." I said to Berry. Berry waved back at me as he walk towards his house just near mine.

"Good luck in whatever you are about to do!" he yelled as he head inside his house. We were neighbors and my three other friends Enigma, Joe and Quick Write are just a block away. I turned my attention back to Amabel. "Welcome to my home and I know my house isn't really that big." I said to her as I open the door to my house. We went inside of my house. I laid down my saddle on the couch. "Make yourself at home." I pointed the couch to her. She sat at the couch. I went to the kitchen and then grabbed a glass of water and a lettuce and tomato sandwich. I went back to the living room and then handed the sandwich to Amabel. "You must be hungry." I said to her.

"You don't need to." she pushed the sandwich a bit.

"I know you really need it and besides I paid you 20 bits to do everything so I want you to eat the sandwich." I said to her in a playful way. She sighed then took a bite of a sandwich. I moved my saddle a bit so I could sit beside her. I watched her eat the sandwich. After she finished eating the sandwich I gave her a glass of water. "Hope you don't mind if I ask you a question." she just nodded. "How did you ended up at the park?" she almost choked as she heard my question. "Oh sorry." I rubbed her back as she cough. She moved the glass away from her face.

"Is it okay if I don't answer your question?" she asked as she tried to hide her face with her mane again.

"Well I really want to know but sure." I smiled at her.

"Thanks." she smiled at me. I moved her mane that is blocking her amazing blue eyes. She blushed a bit. "So uh... What do you want me to do since you have me for a night?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing," I said to her. "I just want you to make yourself feel at home." I patted her mane.

"Are you sure?" she backed her head a bit to avoid my hoof. "Nothing that involves pleasuring you?"

"Nothing, you could just take your bath and try to go to sleep inside my bedroom and if you are thinking about me raping you when I said just sleep inside my bed then you are wrong." I chuckled.

"Where are you going to sleep." she glanced at the clock just near the counter at the kitchen. " And besides it's still 3:00 P.M." she protested.

"At the couch and I know it is still early but you might need some sleep." I walked to the stairs. "Just make yourself feel comfortable and try to rest yourself up." I went to my bedroom. I grabbed towel and toothbrush inside my cabinet. I turned around to exit the bedroom but I saw Amabel in front of me.

"Why are you doing this to me? You only met me just minutes ago." she raised her eyebrow

"Why are you offering services to some stallions who you don't even know?" her face turned red. "I just want to help you because I can't handle seeing somepony struggling." I walked towards her. "Have you ever tried seeing a fellow pony living like a rat and you know you are the only one who could help it?" she avoided my eyes. "Well have you?" I moved her face with my hoof so she could see me eye to eye.

"I have." she moved her head away again. "I have already felt that." she removed my hoof away from her face. "I met a poor stallion who is trying to work hard just to survive." a tear dropped on her eyes. "I fell in love with that stallion so I tried to introduce myself to him." she wiped the tear on her eyes. "We have lived a great life together for a year." I patted her mane. "I loved him, feed him, nourish him and gave him all that he ever wanted." I wrapped my hoof around her neck to comfort her. "But one day after he had claimed all that he ever wanted, he tried to find another mare for his life and it made my heart ache." I felt the pain her words are expressing.

"I should have not insulted her if I knew she had a crazy life." I thought to myself.

"I lost everything to him."  I wiped the tears that is now flowing through her eyes. "My home, money, job and even my life." she suddenly hugged me. I dropped the toothbrush and the towel as I felt her hug. "Now you know I ended up living like a rat." she looked up to me.

"I didn't know that a worthless stallion could do that to a mare." I said to her. "Just forget about what happened in the past." I smiled at her. "I'll try stick by your side." her eyes widened.

"Sorry but I couldn't take advantage of you." she released me from the hug.

"Don't worry because you aren't taking advantage of me." I hugged her. "Now just go take your bath and try to rest up." she nodded and wiped the tears in her eyes. I released her from the hug and then picked up the towel and the toothbrush. I gave her the towel and the toothbrush and then she left the bedroom. My ears fell down as soon as she got out of my sight. "I feel sorry about her." I said to myself. "Don't worry Amabel because I'll try to make you happy." I walked downstairs to the couch. I moved the saddle out of the couch and then laid my back. I removed my scarf from my neck. "Maybe I'm the one who needs to rest up." I said to myself as I close my eyes and try to take a nap.
