"Oh buck Celestia, somepony is trying to kill me!!!" I yelled as I opened my eyes. I saw Amabel in front of me, trying to put a blanket around me.

"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you up." she said to me with a smile. She looked like she just came out of the bathroom since there is a towel above her head and water is dripping off of her tail.

"Just some reflexes." I said to her while chuckling a bit. "How was the bath?" I sat up.

"It has been a long time since I first used a bathroom again." she scratched her head. "But it feels great and thanks for helping me." she hugged me.

"No problem and you are still wet so you might want to dry yourself up first." I pushed her softly.

"Oh right, I almost forgot." she gave me a sheepish smile. She rushed upstairs to the bedroom. I took a peek at the clock in the kitchen. I sighed as I saw the time.

"No matter how different mares are, it still take them an hour to finish a bath." the time is 4:00 P.M. I went to the kitchen and brought out a tomato sauce and a pack of mushroom out of the small cooler. I placed them on the counter top just beside me. I opened a cabinet above my head and then brought out a pasta pack. "Just gonna make sure this is enough for both of us." I said to myself. I turned on the stove and placed a double boiler with water in it. I started to chop the mushroom with a knife as I waited for the water to boil. After I finished chopping the mushroom, I walked near the stove to check if the water is already boiling. I grabbed the pasta pack and then opened it. I placed the pasta onto the boiler. "Just need to wait again and it will be all set." I said to myself. I walked upstairs to check on Amabel. "You okay there Amabel." I asked as I knock on the door of the bedroom.

"Yes, I'm in here." Amabel replied. I opened the door and saw her sitting at the bed. She was brushing her mane with my brush. "Sorry if I'm using some of your items." she stopped brushing for a moment.

"That's fine and uh... Dinner will be ready soon." I walked closer to her and then sat beside her. "Are you feeling comfortable now?" she nodded. "How should I say this?" I avoided her eyes and then scratched my head.

"Say what?" she turned her head to look at me.

"To say that it might be better if you live here with me." I turned my head a bit so I could see Amabel's reaction. She just looked at me blankly. "Well you could disagree if you want." I gave her a sheepish smile.

"I don't think living here with you will turn out great for you." she said as she laid down the brush beside her.

"Why do you say so?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well you have to feed me, take care of me, nourish me and-." I cut her words.

"And love you?" I smiled at her. Her face blushed for a few seconds. "I can't believe I just said that to her." I thought to myself.

"Love me?" she raised her eyebrow.

"What I meant to say was to help you." I gave her a sheepish smile. She looked away to avoid my eyes.

"I could stay here with you." she said timidly. "But could I ask a favor?" she tried to look at me slowly.

"What is it?" I moved closer to her.

"Oh wait it is too embarrassing." she looked away again.

"Tell me and I'll try to do it." I wrapped my hoof around her neck.

"Could you uh... Sleep with me?" I froze for a moment.

"Could you make your sentence a bit clear." I moved my ear a bit closer to Amabel's muzzle.

"Could you just um... Sleep with me tonight." again I froze for a moment. "I just miss my love life." she said timidly.

"So I'm going to be like a replacement?" I asked Amabel.

"No." she protested. "I just want you beside me, just in case I need some comforting."

"O.. Oka... Okay then." I said to her with a sheepish smile.

"Thanks." she smiled at me. She suddenly sniffed. "Is there something burning?" I tried to smell something burning.

"Oh Celestia I forgot." I rushed downstairs to the kitchen and quickly turned off the stove. "I hope it is still okay." I chanted as I carefully drain the boiler. Half of the pasta survived. "Looks like I will just have to give you to Amabel." I said to the pasta. I picked out the pasta that can be eaten and then placed it in a plate. I opened the pack of tomato sauce then poured some on top of the pasta. I called Amabel as I finished the final touches on the pasta. Amabel went to the kitchen and gave me a curious face.

"So are we gonna share the pasta?" Amabel asked me.

"It's all yours, I'm just gonna have a sandwich since half of the pasta got burned." I gave her a sheepish smile.

"We could share it." Amabel took a seat near the table.

"No need."

"Come on just share it with me." she grabbed my left hoof. "I couldn't finish this all since you already gave me a sandwich earlier." she gave me a seat beside her. She grabbed two forks on the top of the counter near the sink. She gave me one fork.

"Alright, I'll share it with you." I put a small portion of pasta on my fork and then started to eat it. I watched her eat some pasta. She has some great table manners. I put another small portion of pasta on my fork and then started to put it inside of my mouth. I didn't notice that the pasta was pretty long but I just kept on chewing. I followed the trail of pasta without paying attention to it. It brought me into Amabel's muzzle. I didn't notice it right away that I was kissing Amabel. I quickly backed away and fell onto the floor on my back. I grunted a bit as I tried to sit back up. "Sorry about that I didn't really mean to do it." I scratched my head. I looked at her in the face and she was blushing.

"That's okay I know you didn't mean to." she covered her face with her hoof. I stood up and walked near the sink to grab a glass. I filled the glass with water and then drank it in one gulp. I turned my head around a bit to peek at her. Her face is still blushing and she is still eating the pasta.

"Maybe I should just let her eat the pasta alone." I thought to myself. I went back to the living room and then laid my back down on the couch. "That was embarrassing." I said to myself. I covered my face with my hoof while thinking of the accident I just made. I just waited for time to pass as I try to forget the incident. After hours of waiting, I heard hoofsteps getting close to me. I removed my hoof from my face and saw Amabel standing beside me.

"I thought you were going to sleep beside me?" she asked.

"Oh right, that." I said as I stood up. I took a peek at the clock and saw the time. "6:00 P.M already?" I thought to myself.

"So uh... Is it okay with you to sleep by my side?" her face blushed a bit.

"Sure." I gave her a sheepish smile. I followed her upstairs to the bedroom. "So I'm going to sleep at the left side of the bed." I said to her as I walk to the bed. I laid down on the left side of the bed and then tried to avoid her face. I heard the bed creak as Amabel laid her back down on the right side of the bed.

"I'm really sorry about this."

"No need to be sorry." I said to her without facing her. I closed my eyes and then focused myself on sleeping. I felt a hoof getting wrapped around my belly. I opened my eyes and tried to look behind me. Amabel was already asleep. She was hugging me. "I only wanted to help her, not to be her stallion." I thought to myself. I scratched my head and then tried to focus on sleep again.
