"This train is just taking too long." Amabel muttered. "Hey Pico?" I raised an eyebrow at her. "Why don't you tell me some of your stories, just to pass the time." Amabel gave me a sheepish smile.
"Why not wait till we get home?" I replied to her.
"Oh come on, it is just for the time to pass." Amabel gave me a sad expression. I looked away from her. "Please..." Amabel placed her hoof under my chin.
"It might spoil the story for you if I tell you." I removed her hoof under my chin.
"I don't care if it may spoil the story for me, just one story about you would be enough." Amabel rested her head on my lap. I gazed back at Amabel.
"One story is enough for you?" Amabel nodded. "I doubt that." I smirked.
"Come on Pico, do it for the sake of the ponies inside of this train." Amabel pouted. "Just for the sake of the ponies inside of this train."
"How can I save a bunch of ponies inside of this train by just telling a boring story of about myself?" I looked towards the window.
"How do I even know if your story is boring if you haven't yet tell it to me yet?" I sighed.
"Okay fine, you can stop reasoning with me now, I'll tell you some stories about my life." I gazed at her. "Now, what stories about me would you like to know?"
"Some of the most embarrassing moments of your life." Amabel chuckled.
"Do you want to hear a story about me or not?"
"Okay mister temper guy, I'm thinking." Amabel rolled her eyes. "Lets see... Uh... Mmm... Aha!" Amabel suddenly raised her hoof, almost hitting me on the snout. "How about your first love life." Amabel grinned at me.
"Sorry, don't have a love life." I chuckled.
"Oh come on, I'm sure you had one." Amabel protested.
"I'm one hundred percent not lying." I raised my right hoof and then crossed my heart using my left hoof.
"Okay then... Another topic... Another topic..." Amabel licked her lips. "If you don't have a love life, might at least have some friends right?" I nodded. "Okay then, tell me how did you met your friends."
"Sure, I'll probably start off with my friend Berry, although telling you this kind of stories would be better if I have my photo album."
"Nah, no need."
"Okay, so I met Berry when I was just an elementary student, a kindergarten to be precise. As you can see that my cutiemark is a Pi, which is related to math, I guess you know what my special talent is." Amabel nodded. "Some of my classmates thought that I was a stallion being turned back into a colt so I could steal all the grades in math, since my intelligence in math is higher than theirs, but come on, it is just a simple one plus one questions." Amabel chuckled. "I was bullied by my classmates, they thought that bullying me would make me drop out of school."
"Wow, that was harsh."
"I know right?" I grinned at Amabel. "Anyways, they always put a paper on my back which has a note written on it that says "don't be friends with this colt", and guess what?"
"What?"
"My classmates are stupid enough to follow what was written on the note." I chuckled. "So I don't have any friends when I was in kindergarten, until one pony talked to me, and his name was Queens Berry."
"The one who blessed us before we left Ponyville right?" I nodded.
"He was also bullied because of his name, who even cares if a pony's name has a word Queens in it? I know I don't. So we, two colts was always bullied by the other ponies. Being humiliated, avoided by the other ponies and always being rejected when we tried to join our classmates on playing games."
"It looks like you have a rough childhood?" Amabel rubbed my cheeks.
"It isn't that bad, because I passed kindergarten and made a lot of friends."
"How many?" Amabel raised her eyebrow.
"Five." I gave Amabel a sheepish smile.
"Well at least you have some friends." Amabel smiled at me.
"Yes and now, I'm going to tell you how I met Enigma. I'll show you a picture of all of my friends when we return back home." Amabel nodded. "In grade one, Berry and I were still classmates and we're still being avoided by the other students, unlike Enigma who is very, very friendly, but a bit mischievous." I smirked. "The only thing that is bothering me is that a pegasus is studying in our school instead of studying in Cloudsdale. So Enigma became friends with us blah, blah, blah, he lost some of his friends because of us blah, blah, blah, but he didn't care because I think he said something about true friends never leave each other behind."
"He seems like a nice guy."
"He is, and now let us move on to Cool Joe." I bended my neck a bit. I heard some bones cracking on my neck as I bend my neck, probably because my head has been idle for five minutes. "We first saw Cool Joe when we were in high school sophomores. We were playing dodge balls the time I saw Cool Joe. I was pretty much sensitive to pain that time so I was afraid of playing dodge ba-." Amabel placed her hoof on my muzzle.
"You are sensitive to pain?" I nodded. Amabel punched me in the shoulder. I removed her hoof away from my muzzle.
"Why did you just punched me on the shoulder?"
"To see if you are sensitive to pain."
"I said that I was sensitive to pain when I was still young." I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, as I fought Cool Joe in dodge ball, his throws looks pretty painful when it hits you, and guess what?" Amabel sighed.
"What?"
"It is pretty painful." I chuckled. "After getting knocked out on the floor of the gym, I became a laughing stock in front of everypony. I curled up like a little foal that time, but then Cool Joe walked up to me and then helped me stood up on my hooves-."
"And then you said that you curled up like a little foal." Amabel chuckled. I flipped Amabel onto her belly. "Hey wait what a-Ahhh!!!" I bit Amabel's right ear softly and then gave it a small lick.
"And you thought that being hit by a dodge ball with a lot of force isn't painful." I chuckled.
"Did I said anything about getting bitten in the ears is painful?" Amabel blushed. She flipped herself over onto her backside.
"Anyway, after Cool Joe escorted me to the nurses office, he apologized to me about him hitting me with a ball too hard, so we became friends after that. Now it is time for Quick Write. The four of us met Quick Write when we were in college. I have never seen a pony being so serious in his study, until I met Quick Write of course. He does hang out with us, but sometimes he brings his studies with him, since he is still a college. After we graduated college, we celebrated at my house in Ponyville. I never knew how weird Quick Write can be, until I saw him getting drunk." I rolled my eyes.
"So... What did he do?"
"I don't know what he just did, but in the morning, after the party, we saw him sleeping at the ceiling."
"How?"
"He got taped to the ceiling." Amabel and I chuckled. "And now you know how I met my five unusual everyday best friends." I smiled at her.
"Wow, you might have an embarrassing past-." I cut off her words.
"Don't remind me about it." Amabel nodded.
"But still, you have great friends like then."
"Yeah, It is because of them I reached many things." The train suddenly stopped. Amabel and I almost fell off of our seats.
"We are now in Ponyville!!!" the conductor yelled.
"Finally." Amabel muttered.
"I guess telling a story, really passes the time." I said to myself. Amabel moved her head away from my lap and then stood up. I also stood up. Amabel and I got out of the train. We head out of the train station and then into the streets.
"Your stories ain't boring after all." Amabel said to me as we walk down the streets.
"Specially the story when I spent a whole day with a mare in Manehattan." I whispered.
"What did you say?" Amabel raised her eyebrow.
"Nothing." I quickly looked away.
"Yep, that is what I heard. Nothing."
