Good Old Memories

I woke up earlier than expected since I went to bed at 6:00 P.M. I opened my eyes and then stretched out my front hooves. I tried to get out of the bed but Amabel's front hooves are wrapped around my belly. "How do we do this?" I thought to myself as I try to check how tight Amabel's grip is. "Here we go one... two... three." at the count of three I tried to remove Amabel's hooves off of me.
"Please don't leave me." Amabel cried out as I try to remove her front hooves. I turned around to check if Amabel is already awake. She is still asleep but murmuring words. "I don't want you to leave me." her grip became even more tighter.
"Please pff... stop it." I whispered to her as I get suffocated by her hooves. She opened her eyes followed by a yawn. "Please le- go of me." I said to her.
"Oh sorry." she quickly released her grip on my belly.
"Much better." I gasped for air. "What's with the iron grip?" I raised an eyebrow at her.
"I don't know." her face blushed. She covered her face with her hoof.
"And also were you dreaming? Since you were telling me to not to leave you alone while asleep." I removed her hoof on her face.
"It's just a dream." Amabel turned around, trying to avoid my face.
"Just tell me." I put my right hoof on her shoulder. "I know there is something wrong so it maybe the best to tell." she didn't responded. "Looks like I can't force you to tell me." I sighed. I got out of the bed then went to the door of the bedroom. "Just come downstairs to have your breakfast." I said to her without looking back. I went downstairs to the kitchen to make some pancakes for breakfast. I brought out an egg and a milk from the fridge. I grabbed the flour above the fridge carefully. I started to make a pancake batter in a bowl. "What's with Amabel anyway?" I thought to myself as I stir the pancake batter. I opened the stove and then preheated a small frying pan with vegetable oil. After the pan has been preheated, I started to pour some pancake batter in the pan. I made 5 pieces of small pancakes. I put 3 pancakes on one plate and 2 on the other. I set the plates with pancakes at the table. I took a seat near the table while waiting for Amabel to come downstairs. After waiting for five minutes, my patience finally broke down. I went upstairs to the bedroom to check on Amabel. Without knocking I entered the bedroom. Amabel is still laying at the bed while staring at the ceiling. "Amabel are you okay?" I asked as I approached her slowly. She didn't respond. I sat at the bed near her. I waved my left hoof closer to her eyes. She finally snapped out of her trance. "Are you okay Amabel?" I asked her again.
"Yeah I'm okay." she replied.
"Why aren't you coming downstairs yet?" I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Just got a little distracted." she sat up.
"Well you need to have your breakfast." I stood up. I helped her stand up. "The pancakes got a little cold from waiting for you." I smiled at her. I escorted her downstairs, in to the kitchen. She took a seat near the table. I pushed the plate a little bit closer to her. I grabbed my plate and then took a seat beside her. "So, what has gotten you distracted?" I asked her as I impale my pancake with a fork.
"Just some memories." she replied.
"What kind of memories?" I started to put a proportion of the pancake inside of my mouth.
"Just some good old memories." she smirked.
"Why don't you tell me some?" I put a small proportion of my pancake in my fork and then tried to feed it to Amabel.
"The days when I still live with Samphy." Amabel ate the pancake on my fork.
"Samphy?" I raised an eyebrow at her.
"He's the stallion that used to love." she gave a small smile. "I remembered when we used to cuddle in bed." she turned her head at the pancake and then took a bite of it. "The time when he used to make me breakfast before I go to work." Amabel turned her head to look at me. "The time when he used to love me." she moved her face closer to mine, preparing for a kiss. I tried to back my face away from her a bit but she just followed. I started to blush a bit as she moved her muzzle closer to my muzzle. I dropped my fork on the ground.
"Uh... I think I dropped my fork." I said to her.
"Oh uh... Sorry." she moved her face away from mine. I grabbed the fork on the ground. I stood up from the seat and then walked to the sink.
"I think I'm starting to replace his special stallion." I thought to myself as I wash the fork on the sink. After I washed the fork, I went back to my seat. I tried to look at her face but her mane was covering her face a bit. I sighed and then went back on eating the pancake. After Amabel finished eating the pancake, she went to the living room. I put all of the plates back at the sink to wash them. I heard a knocking on the door of my house. I left the kitchen to answer the door. I opened the door and saw my closest friends. Berry, Enigma, Joe and Quick Write.
"Want to join us? We are going to a bar this afternoon." said Berry with a smile on his face.
"Yeah and maybe we could find some mare at the bar who would like to join our Hearth's Warming Eve party." said Joe. Joe is an earth pony and a party animal. He has a yellow fur and a black colored mane and tail. He always wear his favorite eye wear.
"Right Joe, always with the mares." said Quick Write while chuckling. Quick Write is a focused earth pony but can be very wild when he gets drunk. He has a grey colored fur and a black colored mane and tail.
"Write you are ha ha, get it?" said Enigma. Enigma is a pegasus who is always playful to the pony he knows. He has a dark red colored fur and a dark orange colored mane and tail. The five of us except Quick Write laughed.
"Very funny." said Quick Write while giving Enigma a friendly push.
"So Pico, are you in?" Berry asked as he turn his attention to me.
"Sure but let me talk to Amabel first."
"Who's Amabel?" Quick Write, Joe and Enigma asked in unison.
"Just a homeless mare Pico helped." said Berry. Quick Write, Joe and Enigma's jaw dropped. "Is there something I said?" Berry raised his eyebrow.
"Nothing, it is just weird for us to know that Pico is helping a-" Quick Write didn't get to finish his sentence as Joe interrupted him.
"Homeless ma-" I quickly block Joe's muzzle before he could say homeless mare.
"I'll just tell you the story when we get to the bar." I said to them. "So uh... Where should we meet?" I asked them as I remove my hoof on Joe's muzzle.
"At the park." said Berry.
"Okay then, at the park this afternoon." I said to them as I slowly close the door. I sighed after I completely closed the door. I walked towards Amabel and took a seat beside her at the couch. "Amabel, could you do me a favor?" I asked her.
"What is it?" she asked timidly without looking at me.
"Could you watch my house for a day for me?" I wrapped my hoof around her neck.
"Why?" she faced me.
"Just gonna spend sometime with my friends." I smiled at her.
"Sure." she moved her face away from me again.
"Thanks and don't worry, I'll make lunch for you before I leave this afternoon." I hugged her.
"Sure."
