As I lay my back down on the bed, I tried to process the events that has just happened. "Being used as a replacement?" I thought to myself. "Maybe I should just get her to talk to a psychiatrist?" I muttered. "Or maybe I shoud just get her to see Samphy?" I sighed in frustration. "Come on Pico think, you wouldn't want to wake up every morning in bed next to her." I scratched my head as I think of anymore ideas I could come up with. "Maybe I could ask Berry, Joe, Enigma and Quick Write for help?" I sat up. "That's it, I'm gonna ask them for help instead of grinding my head just to come up with a simple solution." I stood up. I went downstairs to the living room. "Berry told me to meet them at the park this afternoon." I looked at the clock inside the kitchen. "Still have time to cook Amabel some lunch before I leave." I quickly gathered some fresh torn leaf lettuce, a green onion, a jar mayonnaise, a bottle of cider vinegar and a pepper shaker. I just mixed the torn leaf lettuce, the green onion in a bowl and then dazzled it with some pepper, mayonnaise and some cider. As I mix the bowl, I felt something wet being wrapped around my neck. I turned around and saw Amabel breathing on my neck with her eyes closed. I sweated a bit from what I am witnessing. "Not this again." I thought to myself. "So Amabel, mind telling me what you are doing?" I asked her.
"Nothing Samphy." she replied.
"Again with Samphy." I thought to myself. "Amabel, you might want to open your eyes." I said to her in a calm voice. she slowly opened her eyes and then stood frozen. "Can you remove your hoof off of my neck now?" I raised an eyebrow at her. She quickly removed her hoof around my neck. "Thanks, now go to the bedroom and then dry yourself up." I said to her with a smile.
"O-oh yes, sorry for disturbing you." she said with sheepish smile. She went out of the kitchen.
"She is getting weirder and weirder as time pass." I said to myself. After I finished mixing the bowl, I covered the bowl with tin foil and then placed it in the fridge. I sighed as I close the fridge. I wiped the sweat on my head. I went upstairs to tell Amabel that I am about to leave. I knocked on the door of the bedroom. "Amabel, I'm leaving now, don't let any strangers inside the house okay?" I said through the door.
"Sure." she replied.
"And your lunch is inside the fridge." I said before I went back downstairs. I walked towards the couch and then grabbed my saddle. I checked what's inside my saddle first before I left my house. I galloped through the park, trying to search for my friends. I found my friends waiting at the bench near a tree. "Hey guys!!!" I yelled as I walk towards them. It looked like I got their attention.
"What took you so long?" Berry asked.
"Just some house issues." I replied as I gasp from air after running through the park.
"Or maybe some mare issues." said Enigma while chuckling.
"You always know what to say." I said to Enigma. "Where are we going anyway?" I asked them.
"We already told you, we are going to a local bar." said Quick Write.
"Then why are you coming Enigma, I thought you don't like alcohol?" I raised an eyebrow at Enigma.
"I'm just gonna have a normal drink." he replied.
"Don't worry Pico, I know Enigma can handle some glass of OJ." said Cool Joe. All of us except for Enigma, laughed.
"I'm just avoiding it for the better of my health." said Enigma with a proud look on his face.
"Sure, lets just go to where you guys are talking about." I said to them. They all nodded and then started to walk out of the park. I followed them where the bar they are talking about is. As we walk our way to the bar, Quick Write moved a bit closer to me.
"So... How's the mare?" Quick Write asked.
"Oh yeah, she's getting weirder by the minute." I replied to him.
"What kind of weird?" Quick Write raised his eyebrow.
"Well she's using me as a replacement for Samphy?" they all stopped walking for a moment.
"Who's Samphy?" they all asked in unison.
"Just a stallion she used to love." I said to them. They continued walking.
"Well then you're in a big trouble." said Quick Write with a small grin on his face.
"Why do you say so?" I asked him as I move closer to him.
"Mares act differently towards a stallion, specially when there is something wrong with them." he replied.
"In short, Ding!!!." said Cool Joe as he bumped into me. I pushed Cool Joe away from me a bit.
'Well then, any pointer on how I could avoid this situation?" I asked them. They didn't respond. "So much for asking all of you for help." I thought to myself. After a few more seconds of walking, we finally reached the club. It is just at the end of Ponyville at the left side. It isn't really that big nor small for a club, maybe that's why I still haven't noticed the club. We entered the club. The club isn't really that much crowded so it is easier for us to move, unlike those other times when we used to go to Manehattan just to party. Berry and his ideas.
"So, this is the place I wa-." Berry didn't get to finish his sentence as Cool Joe ran towards the dance floor.
"Woo, let's party!!!" yelled Cool Joe as he danced at the middle of the dance floor.
"So like I was saying, this is the place I was talking about." said Berry with a smile on his face.
"Might as well get a beer for us and a lemon juice for Enigma." I said to them as I walk towards the bartender. I heard Berry and Quick Write chuckle. "Three mugs of beer for us and a lemon juice for my friend." I said to the bartender as I pointed my hoof towards Enigma. The bartender nodded.
"Ha ha, wait till all of you have kidney problems." said Enigma. "Nah just joking, that joke keeps getting funnier and funnier by the time you say it." Enigma smiled. The four of us took a seat.
"So Pico, you might want to tell us what is the latest news inside of your home?" Berry asked with a mocking smile.
"Oh you know, the mare I helped has a sad past." I replied. The bartender handed us our drinks.
"What's her story?" Berry asked as he grab his mug of beer.
"She lost her life to a stallion she loved." I examined my drink.
"Wow that's harsh." said Quick Write.
"Tell me about it." I said to Quick Write.
"And speaking of stallions, check out Cool Joe." said Berry as he pointed Cool Joe who was hitting on a two familliar pegasus, Cloudchaser and Flitter.
"Watch this." said Enigma. Enigma walked towards Cool Joe. "Hey four eyes." Cool Joe turned around. "I heard Quick Write say something like you won't last in a drinking contest." said Enigma with a mocking smile on his face. Cool Joe was starting to get irritated. "He also said some that if you were gonna challenge him, it will be Quick." Enigma laughed. Cool Joe walked towards Quick Write who was busy drinking a mug of beer.
"Hey Quick Write." said Cool Joe. Quick Write turned around. "How about a drinking contest?" Cool Joe raised his eyebrow.
"Sure, why not?" said Quick Write. "Hey mister bartender, 10 mugs of the highest alcohol beer in here." the bartender nodded and then laid down 10 mugs of beer at the table in front of them.
"This will be entertaining." said Enigma with a smile on his face. A few ponies surrounded us to watch Cool Joe and Quick Write in a drinking contest.
"Okay then, lets start." said Cool Joe. They both grabbed a mug of beer and then started to drink it in one gulp. After two more mugs they passed out on the table.
"I knew it would be entertaining." said Enigma while chuckling.
"Since you're the one who taught of this idea, then you're the one who's gonna carry them both down their home." said Berry.
"Oh come on." Enigma protested.
"Hey guys, I'm not drunk yet." said Cool Joe as he slowly raise his head from the table. Enigma moved closer to Cool Joe.
"How many hooves am I holding up?" asked Enigma as he raised his right hoof in front of Cool Joe.
"69." Cool Joe said proudly.
"Wow you're right." said Enigma while clapping. "Now for your reward." Enigma pushed Cool Joe softly on his nose which caused Cool Joe's head to lay down on the table again. "Yup, he's not drunk." said Enigma. We spend 3 hours at the bar, having fun while Quick Write and Cool Joe slept on the table. We left the bar at 6:00 P.M. I carried Cool Joe while Enigma carried Quick Write out of the bar. We walked home, a bit drunk except for Enigma who didn't drink and Quick Write and Cool Joe who were really drunk. After we reached my home, Berry carried Cool Joe to his house while Enigma carried Quick Write to his house. I went inside of the house barely able to stand up anymore after carrying a stallion on my back. I laid my back down on the couch without bothering to remove my saddle.
"Amabel, are you there!?" I yelled. She didn't responded. I quickly stood up from the couch and then ran upstairs. I opened the door to the bedroom. Amabel was no where to be found inside the bedroom. I ran back downstairs. I dropped my saddle on the couch and then galloped my way out of my house. "Where would you go Amabel?" I said to myself as I run through Ponyville, in search for Amabel.
