Forget The Past

I galloped through the park, hoping to find Amabel where I first saw her. I stood beside the tree where Berry and I found her. "Amabel, where are you!?" I shouted. Normally, when somepony we know is missing, Enigma is the only one we can count on to find a certain pony since he is a pegasus, but he doesn't know what Amabel looked like so I am left alone to find her. Every inch of the park I scanned just to find her. I wouldn't really care for her since I don't have any connection with her but this time it's different. It's cold outside, it is dark and there might be one of those stallions who takes advantage of weak mares. After I searched the whole park, Amabel was nowhere to be found. I stopped for a moment, trying to catch my breath and resting my worn out hooves. "Where would that mare even go?" I asked myself. I gave up searching for Amabel, but before I could leave the park, I saw her in an alley way between two houses near the park. I approached her slowly and then I stood beside her. I noticed that she looked like she has been crying for an hour and still tears fell down on her eyes. "Are you okay Amabel?" I asked her. She didn't responded. "Hey Ama-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as she suddenly hugged me, crying on my chest.
"Pico." she murmured.
"Tell me what's wrong." I patted her mane. Amabel looked up to me.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to see Samphy thinking that it might help me... But..." she buried her face on my chest again.
"But what?" I moved her head up so she would face me.
"But it was so painful seeing him with another mare inside my own home." she pointed out a house behind her with her hoof.
"Did you talk to him?" I raised an eyebrow at her.
"I didn't." she looked down.
"Well then let me talk to him." I walked towards her house but before I could even get out of the alley, Amabel bit my tail and then dragged me back. I almost fell down by how strong she dragged me. I looked back at her. "Why did you do that?" she released my tail.
"I don't want you to talk to him." she stomped her hoof. "I'll talk to him when I have enough strength to do it." I stood frozen for a moment.
"I understand." she smiled. "Lets go home now." she nodded. I wrapped my hoof around her neck as we head back home. After we went inside of the house, I went to the kitchen. "Did you eat the lunch I made you?" I asked her as I open the fridge. "Guess not." I answered my question first before she did. "Sit near the table, I'll feed you." I brought out the salad from the fridge and then took a spoon near the sink. I sat beside Amabel and then laid down the salad in front of us. She reached out her hoof to grab the fork from my hoof but before she could I moved it away from her hoof. "Let me." I said to her with a smile.
"Now you're being like that to me." she blushed.
"Might be better if I'm the one who will take care instead of you taking care of me." I put some salad on the fork and then moved the fork in front of Amabel's muzzle.
"If you say so." she ate the salad on the fork. As she chew the salad, she looked at me in the eye. "I still think it is better if I help you out a bit." she moved her face closer to mine.
"What ar-." I didn't get to finish my sentence because Amabel kissed me. I felt her tongue explore my mouth. I felt myself heating up as Amabel move her tongue inside of my mouth. I pushed Amabel away softly. She broke out of the kiss. "Sorry Amabel, I just couldn't do that to you." I stood up and then walked to the living room. I took a seat at the couch in the living room. "I just couldn't take advantage of her situation." I thought to myself. I peeked at the kitchen to check on Amabel. Her head was down and it looked like tears were flowing down from her eyes. "I should just accept the fact that I am the replacement for Samphy." I sighed. I laid my back down on the couch and then closed my eyes. I tried to erase the guilt I am feeling for her. I suddenly felt my chest getting wet again. I opened my eyes and saw Amabel standing on her knees and crying on my chest.
"I'm really, really sorry about the pain I am giving you." she murmured.
"It's not your fault why you're acting like that." I patted her mane. "Just forget about the past so you wouldn't act like that." I smiled at her. She raised her head and then nodded. "I still just don't know if I'm ready to fit in for your life." I gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Now go to sleep now." she stood up and then went upstairs. "I can't believe I'm doing this just to help her." I said to myself. "I could replace Samphy but I'm still not sure when to." I sighed. "Just think about it tomorrow Pico, you're stressing yourself." I closed my eyes and tried to focus on sleeping.
