Prologue
Koharu
Koharu sighed. Today was extremely boring, because everyone but her had something to do. Pup was dealing with family issues, Rin was seeing her therapist and Sora, well she's the queen. She's got a lot to do.
Koharu laid down on the couch and stared at the white ceiling, trying to think of something, anything, to do.
Then, a thought entered her mind. Perhaps she could play Rainbow Explosion. She sat up, and smiled. But then remember that she broke the game. She sighed again and laid down again.
"Koharu!" She heard her mother, Lira, yell for her. She sat up and called out, "ya mom!?" Lira replied with, "can you come help me!?" "Sure thing mom!" Koharu said. She got off the couch and ran up the stairs of their house and found her mother in the attic.
The attic wasn't too big, but it was big enough to store a crap load of stuff. Koharu looked around, and there were many boxes.
"Uhh mom?" "Yes dearie?" "We have an attic!?" Koharu exclaimed, she hadn't known they had an attic.
Lira laughed "oh Koharu. Yes, we've had it for a long time," Lira replied.
"O-Oh. So what do you want me to help you with?" Koharu asked "help me clean this attic out," Lira said.
Koharu walked over to a box and ran her hand over it. Her hand came up with a thick layer of dust on it. She frowned and wiped her hand on her shirt. "When was the last time some one was in this place?" "uhhh... 25 years ago?" Koharu stared at her mother "25... .years ago. Y-y-you're kidding right?" Koharu stuttered, she was shocked.
"Ya, most of this is your fathers stuff," Lira sighed, remembering her husband, whom went missing a little bit after Koharu was born. Koharu grinned and grabbed a box.
She didn't know much about her father, and what little she did know, was what her mother trusted her with. "Are you okay with me going through his things?" She asked. Lira looked over at Koharu "yes, most of this is just useless trinkets. But i'm sure you'll find some use outta them," Lira smiled faintly. Koharu squealed in joy and put the box down, then opened it. She rummaged through it.
There were many small, and large trinkets in the boxes. But Koharu took a liking to one. It was a pendant. But the pendant looked like a crescent moon. "Mom!" Koharu exclaimed, Her mother looked over at her. Koharu showed the pendant to Lira "do you know what this is?" Lira shrugged "I don't know, it's just a crescent... shaped pendant. I told you, your father keeps useless trinkets. Though i do like how it looks," Lira smiled and went back to cleaning.
Koharu looked at the pendant, and admired it's beauty. She smiled and put it on.
Then, she went back to rummaging through the boxes.
Later, after the attic was cleaned, Koharu went for a long walk in the forest that was nearby their home.
It was very peaceful in the forest, thanks to Pup. Who kept peace in the forest. So it was very safe.
Koharu came to her favorite spot in the forest. Which was a small clearing, with no underbrush and a large fallen tree, that made a great seat. She smiled and sat down on the log.
There was a rustling in the bushes, but Koharu didn't take note of it. Because there were many small critters in this forest, so it was probably just one of them. However, she should've taken note.
Koharu froze, once she heard a cold laughter erupt from the bushes. And she looked over at the bushes, and a man stepped out. She gasped. "no... no! That's impossible!" She exclaimed, the man, who had short brown hair and green eyes. Along with a long scar that went from his jaw bone, over his nose and right to his scalp. He smirked "oh m'dear, nothing is impossible," He said. "But you're....DEAD!" The man raised his hand, and it glowed a light green. Then a ball formed in his hand, and Koharu got up and tried to run. But he threw the ball at her, and it pierced right through her chest and she blacked out.
Rin
"Fucking hate therapists," Rin growled as she left her therapist's office. The appointment having just ended. She really hated therapists.... but the vampire council said that she had to go, or they'd kill her. So death, or therapist.... death or therapist. She was pretty sure a therapist is better, but she would've loved to chose death now. Her therapist was so annoying. He had this annoying voice, and he'd ask stupid questions like 'are you still dating that girl?' And of course, Rin was.
There was a vibration in her pocket, meaning she got a text from someone. She pulled her phone out. It was an unknown number. and the text read: I have your cousin. If you want her, come to the old abandon mine.... alone. Do not tell anyone, or she dies.
Rin smirked, who was stupid enough to challenge her? Rin, Rin Stitch. Not only was she a strong vampire, she was in the strongest, and oldest vampire families. So it was like this guy was asking for her to kill him. Oh, and she would. Probably in a slow and painful way. But then she thought about her cousin, Koharu. And she facepalmed. Koharu probably didn't even try to fight.
Rin sighed and started to make her way to the mine, where her cousin was.
She eventually got there, and she went inside the mine. She looked around, and saw the walls were still filled with Quatur. Which were rocks with magical qualities, they were the best to enchant or create potions with.
The Quatur faintly glowed, meaning that there was some magic in the air.
Rin didn't take much notice of the Quatur, because they were just rocks. Why should she care about rocks?
Rin continued to go deeper into the cave, until she came to a wide area. Which she assumed was where there was a large deposit of Quatur. She looked around, and she wondered how deep her cousin was in this cave. But then suddenly, there was a voice that spoke. "So you came alone, good," Rin whipped around to see him. "Holy fuck! You again!? How many times do we have to kill you until you STAY dead!?" Rin exclaimed. Starting to get annoyed, because this was what, the 4th time this guy came back?
He smirked. "Oh Rin, when will you learn, you can't kill me," His eyes flashed white and he lunged at Rin, but she figured he'd do that. Because she's fought with him so many times, that he's predictable to her. She stepped to the side and he missed her. "Oh you, we've fought how many times and you still use the same moves," Rin smirked. He got up and smirked back.
"Rin, i don't use the same moves. It's true, i did use that move. But, i'm different this time around," He said then his hand glowed, and it glowed brighter. Rin looked at the glowing hand, that was a different move. Since when was he able to do magic? He then threw 3 bolts of light at her and she dodged them all.
He frowned, and they hit the wall. But that was bad, because the Quatur in that wall, were glowing brighter then the others.
It meant there was a higher magic concentration in them. They exploded when they hit the wall, but the explosion was bigger and the force sent both Rin and him flying. The magic that was released, made them both black out.
Sora & Pup
In the castle, was Queen Sora. And she was sitting on the throne, listening to the nobles complain about a fly being in their soup. Sora sighed and leaned on her hand. Why did nobles have to be so picky? "And that is why you should kill all flies your majesty," this one noble stated. And all the others nodded. She frowned and said , "i'll think about it" and she got off the throne and went to her study.
When she got there, she sat down in her chair, and rubbed her temples. God those nobles could be so infuriating.
She sighed again and then opened up her journal. It had many research notes. Recently she had been researching the magic inside all living things. Or, Vita. But so far, she hadn't gotten very far.
She was about to go do some more research, when her dear friend, Pup. Burst into the room. "Pup?" She looked at Pup, who was panting for breath and looked very scared. "What's wrong Pup?" "He's back," She said. "Who's back?" Sora questioned, very confused.
Pup bit her lip and whispered, "Dante Black." Sora's eyes widened at the name. That name, that was the name of the man who killed her father, who tried to kill all non-humans and the one who almost took her lover away from her for a second time. But that man, had been killed 3 times already and there was no way he could come back, yet how was he here? Perhaps Pup was just seeing things. "Are you sure?" Sora asked "yes i'm sure! I was in the forest and I saw Koharu, and i was gonna go greet her, but then he walked out and his hands glowed white. Koharu tried to run, but she was hit with some magic and disappeared!" Pup exclaimed.
Sora blinked. Disappeared? Magic? That couldn't be right. Dante couldn't use magic, because he couldn't understand it. But yet he had used magic. And on top of that, teleportation magic?! "Pup, are you absolutely sure, you saw that?" "Sora, i'm a wolf, not a dog," Pup growled. "But Pup! We've killed Dante 3 times, and we know he can't use magic! But not only he is alive! He can use magic!?" Sora stood up.
This didn't make any sense. "But Sora i saw it! And after Rin's appointment with the Therapist, she checked her phone and went off to the mine. I went to say hi and tell her about it. But when i saw her going towards the mine, i followed her and she went inside. I went inside and saw a short, not very amazing fight between Rin and Dante, but Dante used the same magic this time and accidentally blew up a wall that had a high magic concentration. And it didn't affect me, but they both disappeared!" Pup exclaimed.
"This is odd.... this shouldn't be happening....," Sora mumbled "Sora, you know anything can happen! Look at what happened to us! I was just a wolf, your guardian and best friend, but with the power of magic, i became a human... well in the sense. And look at Koharu, she died once but with the power of magic, she was brought back! And all that other stuff too!"
"Ya... you're right... but we need to find out what happened," Sora stated and Pup nodded in agreement. "You-" Pup was cut off as there was an explosion down the halls.
Both Pup and Sora rushed out the door, to see 4 guards dead. And Dante standing over them, with blood staining his clothes. "I hate blood," He grumbled. "YOU! But i saw you disappear!" Pup pointed to him in complete shock. Dante looked over at them and smirked "oh dear Murder Puppy, if i made the spell, i think i would be smart enough to create a counter measure, in case something like that happened," Dante stated. Pup growled, she hated when people called her Murder Puppy. It was true, that, that was her real name. But she preferred Pup.
"You, how dare you come back here, traitor," Sora said, dangerously calm. "Aww, what's the matter? Sad i killed daddy?" Dante said in a mocking tone. Sora gritted her teeth in anger. She hated this man, not only did he kill her father, he tried to kill her on multiple occasions and almost killed Koharu and the whole kingdom. Dante's hands glowed again. Sora's eyes widened, so Pup wasn't lying.
Dante ran to Sora, But Pup got in the way and punched Dante in the face. He hissed in pain and threw a bolt of magic at Pup, which caused her to black out and disappear. Like she said. Sora gulped. "And now to deal with you!" He exclaimed, and charged her magic. And threw the giant ball at her. And she too blacked out and disappeared.
Chapter 1
Princess Luna was taking a midnight stroll in the Canterlot Gardens. She looked around, admiring the many different flowers. She looked up at her night sky, she had outdone her self again tonight.
She smiled faintly. Then, she continued to walk.
She walked over to some of the flowers, and she smelled them. They each had a unique fragrance. Much like each pony was unique in their own way.
But then, Luna saw a bright light. That shot up into her night sky outside of Canterlot. It shot higher, and higher, and higher. Until it's descent stopped, and it started to fall. It fell towards Canterlot.
Luna saw this, and realized it was falling right towards her, or in her general direction. So she prepared her self to stop the light. But, just a little bit before it hit, it slowed down. And it softly descend onto the ground before Luna. The light slowly faded and revealed an earth pony mare. Luna, unable to comprehend what just happened. Just stared at the mare dumb founded.
But then, the mare moved, and the moonlight caught something. Luna's eyes widened. The mare had a necklace she had given, her brother, Kinareyth.
Kinareyth had long ago, gone missing. It was many years before she was banished that he went missing. Luna and Celestia never found him, they feared he had died somehow and someway.
Luna stared at the mare. And saw she had a blonde mane and a cream coloured coat. And she saw that her cutie mark was that of a heart in a heart in a heart.
The first heart, which was the biggest, was red. The next heart, the second biggest, was a light pink. Then the final, and smallest heart, was light purple. Luna assumed that this mare was good at loving things, or showing love.
'Now what should I do with this mare?' Luna thought. She used her magic, and picked up the mare. And brought her to her room.
Where she laid the mare onto her bed softly, and went off to get a doctor.
When Luna was gone. The mare groaned, and her eyes fluttered open. She yawned and stretched her hooves, not yet realizing that something was wrong.
"Mhhmm I love this soft bed," She mumbled, rubbing the pillow. She sat up and yawned again. "Oh... did I fall asleep?" She asked and looked around, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. She scratched her head, only to finally now realize, she had no fingers. She looked at her 'hand' and saw that instead it was a hoof. "Okay then... did I happen to drink and pop before bed?" She questioned.
Luna entered the room with a doctor. The mare looked over and saw the 2 ponies and froze, they too froze. The mare blinked, but the yelled out, "OH MY GOD PONIES!" She jumped out of the bed and landed on the floor, right on her flank.
The doctor, who had a grey mane and a white coat, stared at the mare. The mare was frightened at the sight of the 2. Because not only were they ponies, one was a unicorn and the other was a pegacorn. Least, that's what she thought they were called.
"Miss, are you okay?" The doctor asked "OH MY GOD THEY TALK TOO!?" She exclaimed and put her hooves to her head and tried to hide under the bed.
The doctor sighed, slightly annoyed. He walked over to the mare, and used his magic to pull her out from under the bed. "Miss, are you okay?" "Y-you're a unicorn," She pointed at him with her hoof, well in the air. He facehoofed "yes, I already know," he grumbled "b-but they're extinct!" She exclaimed. "Miss, I assure you, we are not extinct," The doctor stated.
"But... But you're a pony," She said "well you are too," He said "no I'm not," She shook her head and held out her hoof "see it's a hand, a perf- HOLY CRAP CRACKERS I AM A PONY!" She yelled again and this time she fainted from the shock.
Princess Luna, having not said much, but rather observed the whole event. Wondered why the mare was acting like this, perhaps she was insane. "Doctor, is there something wrong with her?" Luna asked, walking over to his side. "It's hard to tell, but she might be insane," He said and laid her on the bed.
The mare yawned again and stretched her arms. She sat up again and mumbled,"I had the strangest dream that i was a pony and... there were other ponies" she opened her eyes, and saw Luna and the Doctor staring back at her. "So... it wasn't a dream....," She stated, then fainted again. The doctor and Luna both sighed. "I think she might be insane," The doctor looked at Luna. "I'm not crazy!" The mare shot up. "Slow, maybe even stupid at times, but not crazy, no no no! Leave that too my cousin, she's pure insane. But when one has gone through what she has, it's kinda hard not to lose your mind," She said.
"Miss, what is your name?" "My name? What about your names, you are strangers to me. And how can i trust people i don't know," She eyed them both. The doctor sighed "i am Doctor Klein," Dr.Klein said "and I am Princess Luna," Princess Luna replied.
"I am Koharu Dawn Lewis~! Or you can replace the Lewis with Stitch, what ever floats your boat," Koharu smiled.
"Oh crap, i just forgot you guys were ponies," She said, then fainted, for the third time.
Chapter 2
(kinda hard for me to do rhymes, but i shall try for Zecora )
A zebra was walking through the everfree forest, however, being very very careful. For the forest was full with dangers, whether it be the plants, or the strange and dangerous beasts
that lurked around every corner. Now one would ask, what was this zebra doing in
this dangerous place? Did they have a death wish of some sort?
But no, she in fact lived there, and today she needed a rare flower to create a potion.
Now this flower, was a very strange flower. Instead of needing the sunlight for energy, it use moonlight as energy. Which would make this hunt all the harder. Because during the day, the flower would close up, and become very hard to find.
However, coming into the forest at night was a very dangerous thing. Worse then during the day.
So Zecora had no choice, but to do this during the day.
It would prove to be a challenge, but she was up for it.
Zecora walked and walked, until she found a group of flowers. However, there'd be no way to tell if they were the flower she wanted, because there were quite a few closed up flowers in the everfree, that weren't the flower she was looking for.
There was only two ways to find out if they were that flower. To either wait until nightfall, or, to some how mimic moon light and trick them into thinking it's night time.
Zecora looked to her saddle bag, made by her friend Rarity. And she opened it. She pulled out a dark blue gem and held it up. A small amount of light shone through it. And as if by magic, the gem shone, the sunlight transformed into moon light.
The moonlight shone onto the flowers, and sure enough, all of them bloomed.
But there were 3 that were different. This flower was called Moon Tear. And you could tell it was a Moon Tear, because when the moon shone on it, it sparkled beautifully. Zecora smiled and picked those flowers very carefully and placed them into some jars she brought along.
Then she was prepared to go home, until she heard a groan. She froze, looked around and tried to look for the source.
But then her eyes caught something she didn't seem to notice before, how odd. She saw what she guessed was part of a tail.However, it wasn't a pony tail. And she could tell that. "now what is this i see? What kind of creature may you be?" She thought out loud and stepped towards the creature.
Then, when she saw it fully, she gasped and jumped back in fright. The creatures eyes slowly opened, and it yawned.
"Oh, where is it!?" Twilight Sparkle exclaimed, frantically looking around for a certain book. "SPIKE!" She yelled out for her number one assistant, and he came running. "Ya Twilight?" He looked at Twilight.
"Where is that book that we found?" Twilight asked "we sent it for repairs, remember? The bindings were about to fall off, and the book was so old and good you didn't want to lose it," Spike replied. Twilight groaned. She completely forgot about that.
"Well just great, the one time i do need something, i forget i sent it off somewhere," She grumbled. "What do you need it for?" "Well! I saw this great spell in it, and i wanted to try it out," Twilight grinned. Thinking about all the possibilities that spell had. "Well do you remember how it worked?" "No Spike, i only scanned that page...," Twilight said. "Well that's unlike you," Spike frowned. "Well you know i needed to find a spell to stop that plant monster from destroying Ponyville," Twilight said.
Just as Spike was about to say something, there was a bright flash of light. That blinded both Twilight and Spike.
They shielded their eyes from the light, and when it dyed down. They looked over to see a pure white unicorn, with a bright orange mane. Twilight was so shocked, she didn't know what to say or do.
For a while, both Spike and Twilight stared at the pony, which they assumed to be a mare. Because of how their body was shaped. But finally Spike broke the silence. "Twilight?" "Ya?" "Where'd that unicorn come from?" Spike pointed to the unicorn. "I don't know spike," She said in shock and walked towards the pony.
She stood less then a foot away from her, and inspected the unicorn. She saw her cutie mark, which was that of an open book, or perhaps a journal. For there was a quill pen over the book, as if it was writing in it.
The mare also had a long orange mane and a peach coat.
Then, the pony's eyes shot open and they lunged at Twilight. Twilight yelled out, as the unicorn tried to stab Twilight with her horn. Twilight managed to dodge the unicorn. She landed on the ground with a thud and groaned. Twilight cast a spell around the Unicorn so it couldn't attack anypony. "Spike, we need to get the girls here," Twilight said. Spike nodded and they both left the library to get the others there.
