The Library of Forbidden Secrets

Chapter 4: Home Coming

All jaws dropped as soon as the doors open, revealing a very festive Discord. He was clad in a Hawiian Polo, a pair of shades, and holding a saucey mini cocktail in his lion paw. He dipped his shades as he looked upon the assembled ponies and Aliecorns, and burst into laughter.

"You should all the looks on your faces....acutally" he snaps his griffon claw and summons a camera out of thin air and snaps a picture of the ground before having the camra vanish in a cloud of cotton candy and the photo reappear out of thin air. He quickly reappears sitting on Celestia's back with the picture hanging from her horn. He was rolling around laughting as he rolled off but kept hovering in mid air. "Tia you never looked better~" He says as he breaks into another fit before reappearing next to Twilight, reaching down and poking her side.

"AH!" Twilight yelled as Discrod poked her, she was immidatly transformed into a Male Dimond Dog. She immidatly began to freak out as she ran around the room as she tried to make sence of what just happened as Discord moved on. Poking Pinkie she was immidatly turned into a Griffan. Unlike Twilight she was happily flying around the room. For Rarity, Discord changed her mane first, causing it to loose all its pumf and sheen. Next it turned a sickly green before finally beginning to fall out in hoof fulls. Rarity was about to whine when her mouth suddenly vanished. She just sat down and looked down, trying to come to terms with what just happened.

Celestia was now furious and was charging Discord, but he easily made her his next victom. He vanished as she reached him, causing her to turn around, expecting an attack, only to receive a flick to the forehead. She fell back, not a min later, her fur fell out, her horn turned chrome, and her wings lost their feathers. Luna began to fire blasts of arcane energy at Discord, only to have them becme bundles of Flowers, but instead of peddles, it was chalk. Discord moved to Luna, poking her and watching as she turned translucent and unable to cast magic. He immidatly finished off the others. Guards had their gender swapped, weapons vanish as well as armor.

For Fluttershy, her voice suddenly became like when she walked through the Poisen Joke, deep, rought, and Black. Her minds became a pair of miniture blimps. Applejack became a filly, her strength zapped from her and her blond mane turned pink. Finally for Dash, he started by removing her wings, yes this has been done before but it didn't stop there. He soon slowed down time around her, with a smirk proclaimed. "Now, you are the slowest in all Equestria!" he begins to laugh like an insane mad man as he rolls around on the floor. He turns to the 4, non discorded ponies in the room. 3 he knew of, but then one caught his attention. "And who might this be~" he says waltzing over to Book Worm. Quickly the C.M.C. jumped to block his path.

"You stay away from our friend you big jerk!" Scootaloo yelled at Discord, while trying to keep her nerve up. Discord only sighed and vanished, reappearing behind Book Worm, the C.M.C. suddenly turned to stone. He chuckled at the stunned expression of Book Worm's little face as he turned to see his new friends turned to stone before him.

"Like my work? So this is how it felt when Twilight and her gang turned me into stone. Did you enjoy the show...." He asked as he got Book Worm's attention, he immidatly backed some what away. It was then that Discord noticed something. He himself had never seen this colt before with any of the mares or the princesses. He was not there when he was bested last time. Who was he?

"Wh-wh-who are you?" Discord was taken back, here was a colt who knew not his works. He genergly had his jaw drop at this fact and he immidatly began to laugh out loud and roll around on the floor.

"I am the God of Chaos, Discord and I have already grown tired of all this talking. So Tia, LuLu, its time for me to extinguish the both of you so that I can rule without any interruption to my glorious never ending reign of Chaos." He says grinning as he advanced on the two princess. Fear danced utop their features as all they could do was watch and wait for the end. Celestia turned to Twilight who had finally stopped freaking out and mouthed out. I'm sorry. Discord say the transaction between teacher and student and mearly giggled as he began to the one thing Villians always do....he got right to monolging.

"O Tia, don't feel so bad, there was nothing you could have done any way. You see, this plague has no cure, even if little Light here though she had found one. Do you know why~" Celestia could only fearfully shake her head. "Thats cause I caused it. How easy was to spread my Chaotic influence over the land after a certain wall eyed mare bumped into my stature and left a crack. After that it was as simple as infesting your precious subjects as well as yourselves. It was I who started this plauge, I sapped the strength of the every Earth Pony. It was also I who stole away all the Unicorns magic, and it was me who drained the stamina from those fility Pegaseses. I caused it all, in just a simple month I managed to bring Equestria to its knees. O and I must thank the both of you, for showing my that library, who knows what kind of Chaos I could sow with the knowledge contained within its corridors. O and Twilight. After I read them all, I plan on burning. Every. Single. Book. There, all 13 trillian of them, O how much fun it will be." Twilight at this point broke down int tears, knowing full well that she couldn't do a thing and she would have to watch the largest collection of knowledge be burn to the ground by this monster.  It was then she felt a tap on her shoulder. Her now Dimond Dog head turned to see little Book Worm looking up at her. She could only look at him and cry as Discord continued his speech about how feeble they all were. About how innevitable their defeat would be. How the world would soon be his.

"Ho...Ho...How did you know about the Library and why weren't the fillies affected as most where!?" Rarity asked while she balled up in a corner. Discord could only chuckle as he began to explain.

"O that one was easy. You see, I had a minion of mine follow you." At this, a guard's pony leaped out, only to change into a changling, which caused a few jaws to become slacked. Discord chuckled once more, snapping his fingers together, causing the Changling to vanish into thin air and returning his attention to all present, an evil, insane glare cast about the room. "As for the fillies, well, what fun is there if I take away a child's life before I get to mess with it and such~" His grin growing as the fires of madness flicker behind his eyes.

"D-D-Dagon will stop you...." Celestia managed to choke out through her hyperventalating. Discord only looked down at her and began to giggle like a mad school girl.

"Tia...really...you think an old relic of the past can even come close to my power. You and I both know, he is gone, dead and gone. It really is such a shame, I would have loved to snuff his life out like a candle. He would probebly beg and plead in the end before I ended his lift" He began cackling and rolling around on the floor while holding his stomach. It was then that Book Worm walked into the middle of the room, causing Discord to slowly break free from his laughting spell and look at the little colt. "Whats wrong, to scared to speak still~" He jokingly poked Book Worm's head and giggled, only for the little foal to reach up and slap his dragon claw away.

"You always were one to reveal your plans to soon, Discord. You lack even a simblence of intellect and yet you think you own the right to rule others. Once again you have underestimated your enemies and brough yourself upon the guilitine, but this time, there be no stoney prision, there will only be your end." Book Worm shook his head. All present were dumb founded at how thoughly he had insulted the God of Chaos. Discord himself was turning red as he looked down at the Colt, he was beyond enraged at this point.

"Seems I need to make an example out of you whelp!" Discord bellowed as he reached out to grab hold of Book Worm, only to stop suddenly as Book Worm began to speak again.

" You are a fool Discord! Once again you over estimate your enemies and leave yourself open for defeat![" Book Worm snapped, in a voice that was that of something else,his voice became distorted and warped with power and energy as, again the jaws fell from those with the room. Discrod himself was blasted back by the force of the voice and flew back a few feet.

"Wh...What in all Tartarus are you!" He asked pointing a clawed hand at Book Worm, slightly shaking as he was over come with a sudden urge to flee.

" I am your destruction Harbenger of Chaos!" Book Worm was suddenly encased in flame, a cone of jet black fire errupted from the floor and enguled him.  Fluttershy had by this point gone into shock, thinking Discord had prompted this and had executed poor Book Worm for standing up for them. Discord on the other hand had fallen back and began to back away, fear gripping his face. The fire suddenly began to extend from the sides,soon reaching nine feel across. The flame on the side began to weaver and a pair of Emerald wings spread out from it. Soon a reptilian tongue stretched out of the fire, followed by the head and body of a snake. Its back and sides were adorned with vibrant feathers of a deep green. The pair of wings folded against his back as the fire died away. All in the room backed away as far as they could from this strange creature. It was Twilight and Dash who, immidatly recognised it as the skeleton she had seen in the Library. This was lost on the others, for they were too gripped in the clutches of fear to realise this.

"Wh...wha....WHAT ARE YOU!" Discord had fallen back and was now trying to escape, for the first time he felt fear. He knew not what this thing was, but his instincts told him he needed to flee. The Serpent looked upon him with pity, and shook his head, pitying him.

" Discrd, you have worn out your welcome once again!" The creature lunged at Discord. He immidatly flew in to the air, attemtping to escape his persuer. It did him little good as the great serpent's wings unfuled and he gave chase after the Embodyment of Chaos. Discord, in his haste to flee, blasted one of the stain glass windows open, leaving a gaping hole in the wall for the feathered serpent to follow through. The two streaked off into the sky, leaving behind a mixture of emotions, fear, dread, worry, aprehention, and most of all curiosity. The Sisters as well as the Mare 6 and the recently de-petrified C.M.C. had no idea what to make of the creature what so ever.

C.M.C.'s Point of View

The C.M.C. had just returned from the petrified state to the most spectacular thing. Discord...running like a filly from a pack of Timber Wolves. It almost would have made them chuckle, if not for the fact they saw who it was that sent Dicord running. A massive Serpent, with wings as long a 3 Celestias in a line with their wings fully spread out and the very tips touching each other. They huddled behind their respective sisters as they watched the two creatures become nothing more then specs, that was before the first bellow reverberated around the chamber from outside as the two creatures clashed.
