Chapters Chapter 3: The Descission
Forte wasn't sure what he should do, either be a coward and say no, or try something new and say yes. He also wasn't sure why he asked Forte, Forte was no adventurer. When he arrived at his shop, Forte felt like his brain was going to explode. "What should I do?" Forte asked, great, he was talking to himself now. After five costumers he was ready to say no but, he didn't want to say no, surprisingly he wanted to say yes. Living a boring life, Forte wanted to see the world, smell new air, live a life of an adventurer. But he would never have the guts to do it.
Forte wanted a new life, if he said yes, he would have a new life. He decided that he would say yes, and luckily, he remembered the address. As he walked out the door, Forte looked back at his shop, he didn't like leaving it, but he went off. As Forte turned towards the mans house he noticed that no lights were on, which meant he was somewhere else, but where was he? Maybe at sugar cube corner Forte thought, so he galloped over to sugar cube corner. There, was the stallion, buying a cupcake. The stallion sat down and Forte went over to him, "have you made your descission yet?" The stallion asked and ate part of cupcake. "Yes, I have" Forte said, "I will do it." The stallion smiled and then ate the rest of the cupcake, "meet me by the forest at eight o'clock in the morning, I have some items for you" he said. "Why at eight? Every pony is-" he said but he was interrupted. "Asleep, yes, that's why, so no pony will know."
Forte nodded and went back to his home, it was getting late. He got ready for bed and the climbed onto the bed. In about 30 minutes, he was fast asleep.

Forte, a stallion about 20 years old, was cleaning his instrument store. The store wasn't big nor small, it was about average size, and had many instruments from banjos, to tubas. Even though Forte looked brave, he was actually very frightened by many things from snakes, to parasprites. When Forte finally finished cleaning, he looked at the clock, 6:15 P.M., time to close up the shop.
He started to gather his things when he heard the door open, when he went back to the room, Forte saw a stallion. The stallion looked about 35 years old, he was looking at Forte. "Um" Forte said, "can I help you?" The stallion grinned, "yes, but we can talk about that later because it needs to be in private" the stallion looked around. "But" Forte said, "we're the only ponies here." "It's a store" the stallion said, "anypony could walk in here." Then, Forte saw a card under the stallion's left hind-hoof. "Um" Forte said, "you dropped something." "Oh" the stallion said, "I did. Anyway it's for you" the stallion grabbed it and put it on Forte's desk. "Wait what is this?" Forte asked. "That's where I live" the stallion said. Forte looked at it:
4293 Friendship St.
Ponyville, Equestria
32587.
Forte looked at the stallion, "why is it for me?" The stallion looked at him, "soon, you'll find out." The stallion put a nickel in a tip jar near the desk and then started to go towards the door. "Wait!" Forte blurted out. "Who are you?" Forte asked. "That's not important right now" the stallion said, "what matters now is that you arrive at my house." Forte took a look at the card then looked up. The stallion was gone.
Forte woke up the next day, he got dressed in his work attire and made his bed. He then went down for breakfast, his favorite meal. After he got ready, Forte felt like he was forgetting something, something about yesterday. After flipping the closed sign to the open sign, Forte went over to his desk, not noticing the card from yesterday. About 30 minutes later, he sold a banjo to a mare, the mare thanked Forte and left. While working, Forte was trying to remember what he forgot, then he concluded that he probably didn't forget anything. It was about lunch time when he remembered, "dammit, I forgot" he said and Forte then quickly galloped over to the desk and grabbed the card and left. Forgetting something, Forte went back inside and put the out for lunch sign up.
He read the card again, "hmmm freindship street" Forte muttered, he looked around and he found friendship street and went that way. In about 15 minutes, Forte found the stallions house. It was a nice house, not to big, not to small, beautiful colors, and a mahogany red door with a silver doorknob. After he arrived at the door, Forte knocked. The stallion answered the door, "I'm glad you came" the stallion said, "please come in, I just made some tea." "Ok" Forte said and walked in and sat down as the stallion poured them tea, "why did you want to talk to me?" Forte asked and took a sip of his tea. "I am looking for a pony like you" the stallion said. Forte looked at him, "for what?"
"Something strange is happening in the everfree forest" the stallion said and drank some tea. "Everfree forest" Forte said in his head as he was taking a sip of tea, he shuddered, the everfree forest was creepy, the clouds move all by themselves. "Isn't that normal?" Forte asked. "No" the stallion said, "it has gotten even weirder a little too fast, and I find that suspicious." "Well I can't argue with that" Forte said, the everfree forest would never get even weirder that fast, "so why do you need me?" The stallion chuckled, "I need you to investigate." "Um, no thanks" Forte said, "I'm not sure I could do that." "Don't worry" the stallion said, "this is an offer, you could decline." It was a hard descission, "I'll tell you when I decide" Forte said. "Tak your time" the stallion said and opened the door for Forte. After going out the door, Forte went back to the shop and took off the gone for lunch sign.
