the unnatural occurrence

It was a clear morning in ponyville as the ponies were preparing to open their stalls for the day and hope to make as many bits as they could due to the rising number of residents in ponyville more and more stalls were being set up some selling unique items others selling the exact same thing as other ponies hoping to steal their customers by lowering their prices significantly for a time it was all working well ponies would go about their daily business buying there supplies and stocking up however on one particular morning the marketplace was deserted there was no stalls,no ponies nothing that's because on that particular morning something that has never happened in the history of ponyville has occurred there has been a murder.

(later that day)

Walking through the streets of ponyville was a stallion by the name of Crimson Gaze he was a medium sized pony with a dark red coat,black hair with red two red highlights,and blood red eyes that could pierce your soul. Crimson was a former bounty hunter who was widely known for killing his targets without remorse and showed no compassion to the ponies he killed never once regretting his actions or wondering how it could have effected him all he cared about was the payout nothing or nopony else but he decided to try and settle down in ponyville and live the rest o his days rich and happy at least that's what he thought.

Crimson was walking through the rainy streets of ponyville he was heading to the market to stock up on supplies as he was running low. While walking he started talking to mumbling to himself

''Fucking rain those damn pegasus really know how to piss me off.''

As he was walking he came upon the familiar sight of a house of a pony he knows as berry punch she would give him free booze in exchange for doing odd jobs around her house he thought it was a pain in the ass but free booze is free booze. As he was walking by he noticed a scent he was far to familiar with the scent of death as he slowly edged his way closer to the house the scent got stronger until it was strong enough to make him want to vomit. Standing in front of the door he slowly raised his hoof and knocked

'no reply'

he knocked again this time a little harder 'no reply' the third time he knocked the door creaked open as he walked in he was engulfed in darkness and the strong smell of death he slowly entered the house while calling out for berry

'' Hello Berry are you home.''

'no reply'

As he fumbled about in the darkness he found the light switch as he flicked it on he turned his head and was greeted by one of the most gruesome sights he has ever seen the decomposing body of Berry punch.

As crimson stood there staring at the mares rotting corpse he thought to himself 'My god that's just disgusting.' As he moved closer to the body he noticed something unusual berry's body had no cuts,bruises or anything to indicate a struggle or break-in ''Maybe she committed suicide I mean she was always drinking when I was around doing odd jobs it's one of the reasons I was able to convince her to give me free booze instead of her other Offers god knows she's offered me enough of those''.

he shudders at the thought of one of berry's special offers.

he looked around berry's house looking for some sort of indication that she had ended her own life its fair to say that he came up short.

''I don't understand there isn't any sort of indication that she killed herself or that somepony broke in and did this is all a big mess the best thing I could do is get the authorities''.

As crimson stood there staring at the mares rotting corpse he thought to himself 'My god that's just disgusting.' ''I don't get it no cuts no bruises nothing to show that somepony did this to her but there's also nothing to prove that she killed herself she couldn't have died of natural causes I mean sure she drank a lot but apart from that she was perfectly healthy *sigh* I guess all I can do now is contact the authorities maybe they can tell me what happened to her.''

With that crimson left berry's house began his walk to the p.v.p.d.

(this is my first fic criticism is welcome this will probably turn out awful but I might as well give it a shot also please bear with me the chapters aren't extremely long i have been dealing with a serious case of writers block i will make the chapters longer eventually but please bear with me.)
