The Adventures Of Red Blaze And Lightning Dasher

  *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

  "Shut up!" Red screams as he slams his hoof on his alarm clock.

  "What's up?" Lightning says as he peeks in.

  "The sun... And I hate it." Red says, still tired.

  ''Well, so do I, but you don't have to be so aggressive.'' Lightning states a little annoyed.

  "Yeah, I suppose you're right." Red says as he gets out of bed.

  "So, what's for breakfast? Assuming you didn't eat it all, like you did before." Red says in a mocking tone.

  "I don't know, any ideas?'' Lightning asks, ignoring the comment.

  "I don't know. How about you go to Sweet Apple Acres and get me some apples?"  Red asks.

  "Hold on a second, I just wanted to say this is a Red episode, and not about Lightning." Red says to you.

  "Who are you talking to!?" Lightning asks.

  "Oh, nobody important..." Red says.

  "Okay, next time you do that, I'm taking you to the hospital..." Lightning says with a concerned look on his face.

  "That's fair. Now, back to what I was saying, Go get me some apples." Red says.

  ''Okay then, I'll be right back.'' Lightning leaves while slamming the door.

  "Now, what is there to do around here?" Red asks to himself.

  "Go meet other friends? No. Play guitar? No. Write fanfiction? No. What to do?" Red continues to talk to himself.

  "Hmmmm..." Red's thoughts are interrupted by a knock on the door.

  "Who in equestria would knock on my door?"

  "Mail!" A muffled sound flows through the cheap door.

  "Derpy, is that you?" Red asks, fearing the worst.

  "Yep!" Derpy yells clearly pleased.

  "Okay, just stay there, I'll come out, and you can hand me the mail, got it? Red asks, fearing that Derpy would find a way to destroy his apartment.

  "Why not just let me in?'' Derpy says, a little less pleased.

  "Uhhhh... You must be tired from getting to my apartment, don't want you to... Uhhhh... Overwork?"

  "If you let me in I can sit down!" Derpy almost yells.

  "Too late." Red says, quickly opening the door and yanking the mail away from Derpy.

  "Huh?" Derpy stands dumbfounded as the door shuts.

  "Who would send me mail?" Red says to himself as he opens the letter.

  "Wait a minute... This is for Lightning! I wonder what it's about... " Red asks himself.

  "New book... Blah blah blah... Ready for checkout... Blah blah blah..."

  "I might as well get his book for him, it's the least I could do." Red thinks to himself as he heads out his door.

  "Hello again!"

  "Ah! Derpy, what are you still doing here!?" Red asks after running into her.

  "I was gonna ask for a tip, but I can see you are busy." Derpy says.

  "Well, I guess you can have a tip... Considering you didn't break anything." Red says as he hands Derpy a few bits.

  "Thanks!" Derpy says as she begins to fly down the hall, bumping into things on the way.

  "C'mon Twilight! Why can't you let me borrow that new Daring Do book?" Red hears Rainbow Dash ask Twilight.

  "Because, Rainbow, somepony already checked that book out!"

  "But..."

  "No 'Buts' Rainbow!"

  "Seriously, Twilight?"

  "Hey!" Red screams, breaking up the two's argument.

  "Oh, I'm so sorry you had to hear that..." Twilight says, her cheeks becoming red from embarresment.

  "All ponies argue, nothing you can do about it... Anyways, I'm here for Lightning's book." Red explains.

  "Oh, well, here it is." Twilight says, handing Red a Daring Do book.

  "Hey! That's the new Daring Do book!" Rainbow says trying to grab the book, only for Twilight to move it away with her magic.

  "No, Rainbow, this book is for Lightning Dasher." Twilight explains.

  "But you said that..."

  "I'll be taking that book now." Red states as he grabs the book and dashes out of the library.

  "Hey, get back here!" Rainbow screams, chasing after Red.

  "She's relentless when it comes to Daring Do!" Red thinks to himself.

  "Hey Red, is that my book? Also, who's at the door?" He asks as he reaches to unlock it.

  "No, wait!!!"

  "Yes, the book is mine!" Rainbow exlaims.

  "What book?" Lightning asks, confused about the situation.

  Red looks at Rainbow then at Lightning. "It's Lightning's book and he is my friend... Though Rainbow is a way bigger fan and everything... Merde!"
