The Adventures Of Red Blaze And Lightning Dasher

  Lightning felt like his brain was drunk for he could not stop thinking of the mare of his dreams, Applejack.

  "Dude, what's wrong?" Red asked for the 6th time.

  "Oh, nothing..." Lightning says.

  "Then why didn't you answer me the first twenty times I asked!" Red shouts.

  "I'm telling you, it's nothing!" Lightning shouts back.

  "Well... Sorry for worrying." Red says.

  "It's just, I'm sorry I yelled, but I haven't been thinking straight lately." Lightning explains.

  "Would it have anything to do with Applejack?" Red asked, remembering when Lightning almost called Applejack beautiful.

  "What!? No way! Not at all!" Lightning says nervously.

  *Sigh* "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you. I have a crush on her." Lightning looks away embarrassed.

  "Ha, I knew it!" Red proclaims.

  "Well, don't tell her! I'm going to ask her out later..." Lightning proclaims.

  "I'm going to sweet apple acres to 'get an apple', you want anything?" Lightning asks.

  "Hmmm... Nope, nothing I need at the moment. Good luck!" Red says.

  "Thanks, see ya!" Lightning says as he closes the door.

  "Ok, let's see how you do..." Red thinks to himself as he secretly follows Lightning.

  *knock* *knock* *knock*

  "Hello." A red stallion opens the door.

  "Hello there, sir, would you be able to tell me where Applejack is..." Lightning waits for a responce.

  "Eeyup. Applejack, visitor." The red stallion says.

  "Excuse me but, who are you?" Lightning asks.

  "My name's Big Macintosh."

  "Nice to meet you Big Macintosh!" Lightning says cheerfully. "I hear great things about you!"

  "Thanks, Mac! Howdy, pardner! Hay, you're that Lightning fellar ah met ah few days ago." Applejack says.

  "Y... Yes, I am! I was, maybe, wondering if you would... Go to Sugarcube Corner with me and... Get to know eachother?" Lightning asks nervously.

  "Sure thing pardner!" Applejack says while getting her things ready.

  "Great, I'm glad you accepted! This will be fun!" Lightning says, most of the nervousness leaving from his mind.

  "Well, well. Good for him!" Red thinks to himself as he flies off.

  "What was that?" Lightning asks, turning around to see what made the noise he heard.

  "Oh, come on sugarcube, it was prabably just tha wind." Applejack offers.

  "Wow, I don't think I've ever met a mare with such an appetite!" Lightning says, impressed by how much food Applejack ate.

  "Are ya kiddin me? Once, when ah was little, ah ate ah table full of apple fritters at mah family's reunion!" Applejack boasts.

  "Wow! I was lucky to eat a plate full of food when I was little!" Lightning states.

  "Hehe, well, ah guess ah just have a gift." Applejack jokes.

  "OHMYGOSH!!!" Pinkie Pie screams in shock.

  "ONE OF MY BESTEST BUDDIES ON A DATE WITH MY NEWEST BESTEST BUDDY!" Pinkie screams in joy.

  "Woah there Pinkie Pah, we're only getting to know eachother." Applejack says.

  "Ahhhh... I thought you two were going out... My bad..." Pinkie's hair deflates more with each word, along with Lightning's confidence.

  "Say, I'm pretty stuffed, and it is getting pretty late... How about I walk you home?" Lightning offers.

  "Sure thing pardner, later Pinkie!"  Applejack says exiting the door with Lightning.

  "They are so going out..." Pinkie Pie thinks to herself.

  "Here we are, Sweet Apple Acres!" Lightning says, stating the obvious.

  "Thank ya kindly." Applejack says, about to close the door.

  "Wait!" Lightning nearly shouts.

  "What's tha matter?" Applejack asks.

  "I was just wandering if you would like to... Go steady?" Lightning asks even more nervous then before.

  "Applejaaaack! There you are ya silly mare, come on now, get inside!" A old mare says pulling Applejack inside.

  "But, granny, ah need ta..." Applejack is interupted by the closing of the front door.

  "Oh... Well, Red's probably wondering what happened, better go tell him." Lightning thinks to himself as he walks back to the apartment.

  "So, how did it go? Nevermind, I already know what happened." Red states.

  "How would you... Wait a minute! You were that noise I heard!!!" Lightning shouts.

  "You heard me!? Well, I guess it's time for bed, haha..." Red says as he races to his room and locks the door.

  *Sigh* "Well, I guess it won't do any good to yell at him..." Lightning says while getting ready to sleep.
