Laughing is a bad idea

I was left alone with my thoughts. Alone. That's what I have always been, and that's what I will always be. I'm dead, or at least I assume so. I died with those ponies surrounded by me. But i wasn't sure. I just felt like my time had come.

Sounds managed to navigate themselves into my eardrums. They were muffled words some filled with panic, others emotional. I found one completely devoid of happiness. The words just came out of her mouth in an emotionless heap. I was fully awake, but decided to keep my eyes closed. I wanted to listen in land hear the conversation.

"Ah recon' that he ought to be okay" said a calm voice with a beautiful southern accent.

"Dear, how might you be so calm and so positive to this poor stallion. Me and twilight found him just laying on the side of the road. Poor dear." Said another voice this time in a sort of panic.

"Ah never said ah wasn't worried, ah just think he will pull through." Said the southerner.

"Did anybody take a look at his cutie mark?" One hyped up girl questioned.

Another chimed except this was the one who was devoid of emotion.

"I wasn't sure what to think about it. I've seen it before, just never expected it to be there on a mare."

"Hey that rhymed!" The perky one stated.

That's all she got out of it, seriously? I chucked a little in my head thinking about it before a shy little pony spoke up.

"I... I... I agree with applejack." She said.

Man that pony needs to speak up, I could barely hear a word she said. Funny thing was, is that I watched the show, and I knew who they all were, they just sounded a little different. Like older, and with more of a different tone to them. The last one that spoke sounded like Fluttershy, and the others that spoke, or at least the ones I could make out, were Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle. Another voice ruined my thoughts.

"Guys, pschhh, there isn't anything to worry about, he looks strong and tough. Not tough enough to take me on, but you know, tough." Stated the last one.

That's it I think I have heard enough, I didn't want to worry them more.
I opened my eyes to the sight of the manesix the elements of harmony, just standing around me.
They just stood there, a couple flabbergasted that I was even alive. I too was a little surprised, but I tried not to show it. The expressions they were a little humorous, due to the fact that they had their jaws on the floor.

"My, what beautiful eyes he has." Rarity stated.
They all stared at her in disbelief, even I have her a questionable look.
"What!? It's true"
I chuckled a little leading them to loo to me. Wrong thing to do, because they all stared at me with the same face. I didn't really know what to do, nor what to say, so I just looked down.
It was getting nowhere because nobody had wanted to say anything. So I finally broke the silence after a minute.
"So um... Thank you for saving my life. I don't think I could have survived without any help you you guys." I spoke
Still faces of disbelief. I wondered if I said something insulting or something surprising. They all just kept staring at me, most with disbelief, and Rarity with an googly-eyes. I wast sure to keep quiet until another mare, Applejack spoke up.
"It was our pleasure sugar cube" she spoke with a little blush in her cheeks.
Rarity immediately turned her attention to Applejack, with eyes basically stating "BACK THE FUCK OFF"
Applejacks eyes came back with a saying of something close to "HE IS FAIR GAME"
I scooted back a little in the bed I was in. The tension between them you could cut with a butter knife.

"Ahem, no problem, it was a pony's responsibility to help another" Twilight said, giving a look back to them to cut it out. "Anyways my name is Twilight Sparkle. And this is Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash." She said pointing them all out.

"Thank you gu- I mean ponies, it really means a lot to have gotten help from you." I said.

"Where are you from, your definitely not from around here, and trust me I know everypony around here. I'm a very popular pony, everypony knows me from around here and I don't know you, so you must not know me, so that means you must not be around here." The little pink fluff ball Pinkie Pie said.
That was a fucking mouthful I barely understood a word she said due to the speed of her talking. This must have also been the question on their minds because they also seemed an answer.
"Umm... I'm not from around here." I said. I wasn't trying to be perfectly honest with them well mainly for the fact that it was pretty unbelievable. Where in the fucking world would they even hear a story like that?
"Then, what is your name?" Said Twilight sparkle.
My name, hmm what the fuck should I say about that? Obviously a name like Michael wouldn't fit around here. Nor among any place in the world I was in. I came up with the best fake name for here.
"My name is oceanwave" I said. Figuring that they would take it due to my coat being blue.
But then I thought about it. Oceanwave, who in the fucking right mind would come up a name like that that for a pony.
They all have it questionable looks, but just went with it.
"Okay Oceanwave, what are you doing in Ponyville. Especially in Everfree Forest, that place is dangerous." Twilight said puzzled.
Again with the unanswerable questions. How in the work was I supposed to answer this?
"Umm... I don't know exactly, I just remember finding myself in the Field of the Forest." I responded.
"Then where did you get all of those marks and cuts? Those couldn't have just been from running in the forest. "
"I don't remember getting those either, I just don't know. Look, all I can really say is that I'm baffled about this situation as much as you are."

All the ponies just now looked at me and tried to say something but held back their curiosity. I wanted to tell them the truth, but I couldn't muster up the courage.
"Well to tell you the truth, you need a lot of help, you are in critical condition, and I'm surprised your even alive. So I wrote a letter to the princesses and they are coming down to check the situation out. They will be here in an hour." Twilight said. "If you can't tell us, you can definitely tell the princesses, they are the smartest out of all of us."

"Um okay, could I possibly rest until then?" I asked.
"Sure, but ill be here to keep an eye on you." Said Twilight. "And they are staying too, just to help the situation"

She obviously didn't trust herself alone with me. But I was harmless. I slowly shut my eyes, and let myself be taken into sleep.
