Lightning Dust's revenge

Chapter one - The lonely wanderer

Lightning Dust don't have her home. She doesn’t even have her old life, life of respected pegasus. All is thanks to Rainbow Dash and Her fear of doing great things. But she has a great idea. She knows that she is not the only pony who is down thanks to these six. She has to find those who were knocked down same as Lightning Dust. Her first target to find was Trixie.

Trixie was twice fooled by Twilight Sparkle and everypony only call her names and laugh at her.

"Trixie must be somewhere where nopony will go."

Thinks for herself Lightning Dust.

"And also she will probably be near Twilight's home. So maybe she can be in Everfree Forest. I should definitely start searching for her in there."

So Lightning Dust get on her way to Everfree Forest and started to think about who will be good to join them next.

When Lightning Dust got to Everfree Forest she got little scared but still she knew why she's here and that gave her strenght.

"It's kinda scary in here. I should find Trixie as soon as possible."

She searched whole forest but she couldn't find her. She was in Everfree for half of day now but still nothing. She was about to give up but... she saw something... and she knew who they are. They were Rainbow Dash and her friends. Lightning Dust decided to quietly follow them and see where, where were they going. They all went to some kind of house what was located in the middle of the forest. They got in and stayed there for a pretty long time. Lightning Dust patiently waited. Her vengeance had to be perfect so little waiting won't destroy her plan. But after a long time she got little impatient. Well she was very impatient.

"Can somepony tell me HOW LONG I HAVE TO WAIT?!" Lightning Dust shouted. She immediately caught her mouth with hoofs. When she calmed down she went close to the house and looked through the window. She saw those six and some kind of... zebra. She started to focus on what they were saying.

"Zecora can you finally tell us why are we here?"

"Well... I think that we have a great problem. Do you remember the Alicorn Amulet?"

"Yes. It can offer great power to its wearer. I know about that amulet much when I fought against Trixie who was wearing it. What's wrong with it?"

"The problem is my dear that... somepony... stole it!"

"WHAT???"

"Yes it is terrifying. If it will get into hoofs of somepony like Trixie is it can be our end. She won't let herself get fooled again."

"It's true. Where do you think it can be Zecora?"

"I can still feel its power. It will be somewhere here in the forest."

"So we have to search whole forest???"

"Yes. And you must find it very fast. It will be better for you to split."

"OK. Let's go!"

When Lightning Dust heard that she quickly jumped at the closest bush. She watched like these six leave but that zebra still wasn't comming. So she looked back to the house. Nothing was in. Lightning Dust decided that the ponies will return with the amulet back to this house so she went in and started to search for hide. As she was searching she heard sound of hoofs comming her way. Her heart start pumping very quickly and she started to panic and jumped behind cauldron. The sound was comming from the cellar. She watched the stairs to see where that zebra will go.  Sound of hoofs was getting closer and louder. Dust's heart was pumping faster and faster. The perspiration was comming very fast from her face. Suddenly sound of hoofs stopped and then from place where was the sound comming from somepony said

"Can you please get out from your hide behind that cauldron and tell me what are you doing here face to face or I will make my next potion of you!"

Lightning Dust loudly gasped and showed herself. Only one problem she wasn't facing zebra what have to live here but she was facing blue mare. She was facing Trixie.

Chapter two - The Great and Powerful Trixie

"What do you want here? You'd better tell me the true or you're going to pay for it!"

"Ah... it's you. You are the Great and Powerful Trixie. You are so popular."

"Yes it's me. What do you want here? You came to laugh at me? Much of those tried to. And now I am going to find them and revenge!"

"I know, I know... and that's why I am here. I was searching for you because I know what these six have done to you. I have same problem and if we will work together nopony will stop us. If you want them all you can have them but the only one who want I is Rainbow Dash."

"So if I understand... you want me to join... no that sound bad... you want to join the Great and Powerful Trixie and the only thing you want is Rainbow Dash...sounds good to me.  More mares, more fun. You're in!"

"Ehm... Trixie?"

"Call me The Great and Powerful Trixie, please."

"Well... Great and Powerful Trixie, I have an idea. I know about someone who wants revenge as well as we do, but it is not a pony."

"What do you mean?"

"It's a griffon. I met her some years ago. Pinkie Pie took her friend. But I think that in final we will need to kill her too. You know... her friend is... Rainbow Dash."

"So it means we won't kill six ponies but six ponies and one griffon. That's very good."

"And Trixie... are you sure you can handle it... I mean your magic IS powerful but Twilight defeated you twice."

"WHAT? You dare to doubt my power? I WILL KILL... no, no, no... I will need you... I just need to calm down. I will show you something. Come with me. To the cellar I have a toy in there."

Lightning Dust got little nervous but she had no other choice then follow Trixie to the cellar.

When they got there Lightning Dust saw nothing.

"Are you exited what will happen Lightning Dust? This will be a little demonstration of my power."

Trixie in a second lighten that room with her magic. There were many ingredients and glass bottles for potions. And one more thing... bounded zebra.

"Oh sorry Lightning Dust I am so impolite... this bounded nothing is Zecora, Zecora the one who dare to doubt of my power is Lightning Dust. I heard Zecora that you like to make potions. What do you think about if I’ll make one potion from you?"

Trixie slowly walked to Zecora with evil smile on her muzzle. Zecora looked at Trixie with scary face and her heart pumped like it wanted to tear apart. Trixie felt Zecora's fear and it filled her with pleasure.

"Well, I don't know much about zebras but I want to know. Just don't be afraid Zecora, it WILL hurt! Lightning Dust! Go upstairs and set there fire under cauldron. They say that eating zebra will make you great and powerful. I want to try it. If it is true I will be greater and more powerful!"

Lightning Dust made what Trixie told her but she was terrified. Trixie started to search in carefully sorted ingredient and throw them around cellar to find something what looked very important for her.

"Where I put... maybe here... crap... Oh it doesn't matter we will see how random the potion can be."

Trixie smiled at Zecora, said him "See you later Zecora." and walked upstairs.

There already was fire under cauldron and Lightning Dust looked after it.

"You call this fire? I want bigger fire. By the way are you hungry? We will have baked zebra."

Lightning Dust got shock. She didn't think that Trixie is evil as she seems now.

"What will be with that fire? Do you want to have very hot bath with Zecora or what?"

"No, of course I don’t want to. I... I just need to go for some wood. Yes that’s it we need wood for fire."

"Go to the cellar. There is some of it."

Lightning Dust slowly turned and with her head put down walked to the cellar. Lightning Dust's heart was filled with anger and hatred but she wasn't prepared for this. But if she will not listen to Trixie then she will be another dish in Trixie's menu. So when she found wood she collected it, looked at Zecora and quietly tell her "I am sorry." with sorrows in her eyes.

Trixie got impatient and shouted from upstairs "WHERE IS MY WOOD?"

Lightning Dust got shock and dropped all the wood right under Zecora. When Trixie came down and saw it she said

"Well... maybe you want to burn Zecora here but... just get the wood upstairs."

Lightning Dust quickly gathered wood and took it upstairs. Trixie looked at Zecora with evil smile and sinister eyes and said

"This time you go with us!"

After this Trixie unbounded Zecora and levitated her upstairs with her magic. Lightning Dust thought for herself 'How can she manipulate her with magic? It's not as powerful'

"Come on Dust. We must go now!"

When Lightning Dust went upstairs again she saw that everything is prepared. Trixie moved cauldron with fire into the corner and moved all furniture outside Zecora's home.

"Whoa you look surprised Lightning. You know... we will need space for our... hmm... experiments."

"Experiments? What experiments? What do you mean?"

"Oh don't be silly. Tell me... what do you think that we will do with this zebra? Take care of it? Feed it? Oh well... this sounds odd. We are going to take care of but in other way. And yes, we will be fed by it. Just watch and learn!"

Trixie put Zecora in the middle of the room and started to laugh.

"Zecora, I like fun so let's make this fun. You can run, run as fast as you can."

Zecora immediately stood up, turned to door and ran to them.

"Hey Zecora, where are you going?!"

Trixie smiled and turned Zecora's knee on her hind right leg with her magic so much that her bone ripped through her skin and was very visible. When Lightning Dust saw this she quickly turned while closing her eyes and remembering a situation from her past.

"But Capitan I still don't get one thing. Why you chose me as leadpony and not Rainbow Dash. I must admit that I am glad that I am the leader but I thought that it will be Rainbow Dash because she has done much more great things then I have done."

Spitfire gasped, put her sunglasses off and gave a serious look to Lightning Dust.

"You know Lightning Dust, this was my hardest choice in history. You both have clear and good hearts I can feel it. Rainbow Dash has done many good things that’s true but I can also feel that you will do much better thing. That's why I chose you to be leadpony."

Spitfire put her sunglasses back on her and continued in her work.

"If you don't have anything else on your heart, go."

"Yes I do! I can't believe that you chose me only because your instincts told you to do it."

"Well... don't tell this to anypony but it really wasn't only my instinct. Something very similar happened before."

Spitfire stood up, walked to window and stared through it.

"There was also an undefeatable pair of adepts, a mare and a pony. Well they weren’t only pair at academy but everypony knew that they are..."

Spitfire suddenly stopped and waited for a while.

"Ahh... you don't need to know details. Just remember that history is happening again and that you have to learn from your mistakes .That's why I chose you. And now please leave."

Lightning Dust was confused but then she got an idea that could help them all.

"Hey Capitan do you know them? Oh of course you know them you're the Capitan so they can teach us right?" "Yes I know them but they can't teach you"

Spitfire put her head down and Lightning Dust asked another question.

"But why they can't? Are they worse? Or are they too selfish? Or..."

"NO!!" Spitfire shouted and silenced Lightning Dust. "It's because... you know..."

Spitfire paused and after pretty long time finished her sentence

"They cannot teach you because one of them died. Now leave my office."

Spitfire couldn't hold her emotions much longer and quietly started sobbing.

"Oh... Hey Capitan are you all rig...."

"LEAVE, NOW!"

Lightning Dust knew that something is wrong but she left her Capitan’s office. When she left Spitfire’s office, she only heard sounds of crying comming from there.

When Lightning Dust's mind got back to focus she heard that Trixie's talking to Zecora and maniacally laughing.

"Didn't anypony teach you good manners? Next time when you leave please say bye to those who you are leaving. Ok now again. I must admit that this helpless thing giving me strange feeling. Hmm... that broken leg... it's like de ja vu... But who cares? Let's continue!"

Zecora only lied on the ground and couldn't move because of that pain.

"You don't want to leave? To live? To survive? Hmm... your problem. But I give you one more chance. But it's last chance. You have to stand up and live or die in horrible pain. So your choice is?"

Zecora as her response only looked at Trixie with rage and fear in her eyes.

"STAND UP OR I WILL KILL YOU!!!" Trixie shouted. Zecora put her look on the ground and tried to stand up. It was hard and painful but she did it. “Congrats Zecora! Now continue.”

Zecora looked at Trixie and hardly said “Bye”

"Oh but where are you going? You have to say bye to your life because it's leaving you."

After this Trixie did the same thing as with her right leg to her left leg. Then Trixie said

"Now try to leave!" and again started maniacally laugh. Lightning Dust quietly asked

"Can't you just let her go or finish her fast?"

"WHAT? Are you afraid? Or you still dare to doubt my powers?"

"No Great and Powerful Trixie. You are so powerful. I all saw it."

"Hmm... No you didn't"

After this sentence Trixie turned back to Zecora and levitated her outdoor.

"Lightning, come! It’s time for the final round."

Lightning Dust got more nervous but she had no other choice.

"Yes, I'm going"

Lightning Dust was going slowly and hoped to don't see what will happen.

"Lightning where are you? Well you are pretty slow. I don't know why they call you Lightning Dust they should call you Snail's Tail. Hope then you tyranny will be electrifying."

Trixie started to lift Zecora up.

"Well we are in the end. I made this for you Lightning. You wanted me to finish her fast but you have to watch. You can use this against Rainbow."

"But as you can see I don't have horn so I can't use magic."

"You won't need your magic for this. Just watch."

Trixie turned back to Zecora with her crazy smile

"I am sorry zebra that we can't spend more time together but Lightning Dust want to make this fast so bye and I hope we will meet in our next life. We will have more time for this and I can teach you good manners. Time to roll!"

Trixie again started lifting her victim high to the skies. When the zebra was in half of his great flight Trixie turned to Lightning Dust and said excitedly "I always wanted to try this!"

Then turned her eyes up to beautiful night sky and when she saw that Zecora is pretty high she stopped with lifting and very fast pulled her back to ground.

"Yes your feelings are right. You’re going to hit the ground pretty hard. This will be the most powerful thing you have ever done. Enjoy this SLAM!"

With Trixie's last words Zecora reached ground. The force with what she hit the ground was powerful enough to tear her apart. Trixie turned to Lightning Dust and asked her

"Did you like it? My opinion is that it was amazing. I have another work for you. Clean this mess and then come back inside. I must prepare something."

Lightning Dust couldn't move. She was stunned by Zecora's end and her mind again forced her to remember what happened before.

"Get out of there Lightning Dust!"

"I can't! My leg is... urgh... IT'S STUCK! Please help me! Help me somepony!"

Boulder was comming to Lightning Dust and it was faster and faster. It looked like she will never get away. She closed her eyes, put her head down and started crying much more than before. Suddenly from clouds one of Wonderbolts came to Lightning Dust and saved her. But as he tried to get away his tail got stuck under boulder and pulled him back and as the boulder was rolling it crushed Wonderbolt's leg. It was terrifying wound. After this Lightning Dust opened her eyes and looked around. She was never happy as she was now. She's alive and she's meeting with one of amazing Wonderbolts. But her happiness was quickly replaced with sadness when she saw dark blue pegasus wound.

"Oh I am so sorry!"

"It's all right kid. I saved you life and I can still move thanks to my wings. Just don't be afraid everything will be again good. Trust me."

And with his last sentence he put his front hoof on Lightning Dust shoulder and looked into her eyes with smile on his muzzle but also in his heart.

"You Wonderbolts are totally perfect. When I grow up I want to be like you!"

"You will be. You must just listen to your heart and follow it. But take care. Your heart isn't always right."

Lightning Dust looked at the pegasus and carefully listened. Her mind was lost in words what was comming out from Wonderbolt's muzzle and enjoying every word in its full prettiness. But her mind was disturbed by shout far from skies.

"There he is! Get him!"

"Well kiddo I've got to go. See you later."

"Oh wait a second. You saved my life! What's your name?"

"My name's Dark Flame."

Lightning Dust's mind started to focus again. But she didn't know how much time she lost so she immediately started cleaning this mess. Trixie went out to see what's going on.

"What took you so long Snail’s Tail? Can't you just clean some organs mixed with blood and meat? You are really useless! You are the worst helper ever."

"But I..."

"You only stared and nothing. I will give you last chance. By the way didn't you see her heart somewhere in here?"

"Ehm... there it is!"

"Oh... thanks. If you want something come inside, but CLEAN THIS!"

"And where I have to put her? Or better to say her remains."

"There's a hole south from here. Put everything into that hole and burry it."

Lightning Dust had no other choice then clean Zecora. When she was done with her cleaning she went back to Zecora's hut and saw Trixie how she is mixing potion.

“Ehm… Great and Powerful Trixie?”

“What? Something’s wrong?”

“I have a question. Have you ever killed somepony before?”

“Yes of course! They also wanted me to join Shadowbolts.”

“But why they want you? You are a unicorn not pegasus.”

“Yes I am. But I helped them kill one Wonderbolt.”

“WHAT? You killed Wonderbolt?”

“Yes. It was long time ago but it was fun!”

“Killing is fun for you?”

“Yes. When they can’t escape it’s fun. When you disable legs and something what is specific for each race.“

“So you mean wings?”

“Yes. If it is pegasus then wings. But if it is unicorn, you must disable his horn.”

“That sounds interesting. Can we now go and find Gilda?”

“No. I have one more thing to do in here!”
