During a civil war, the two battling armies, the Paama and the Aachen, must travel to the neutral city of Raiden to offer their armies' protection in exchange for Raiden's alliance. But after a rebel ambush destroys their units, Rico, a kindhearted farmer from Maneland finds and captures Darksoul, a commander of the Aachen from Cloudsdale, and after much fighting with his ego, Rico plans to sell her into prison back in his hometown.
