DUBMUFFIN: fire in the sky

It was an Exhausting Night in Equestria...

Vinyl Scratch had the party of a lifetime.  Doing her job behind the turntable as a Disc Jockey, Mixing and creating individual beats, the adrenaline rush, the feel of the musical beats within, the non-stop jumping and dancing. In the end, She had a BLAST; And it was time for her to rest for a few hours to continue her job in the next night.

But Now Vinyl laid on her stomach, with her arms wrapped around a soft pillow and her head resting on it. Her Blue and Cyan hair waved from side to side as the morning wind blew in through her window. It did nothing to disturb her, only to help her relax even more and to go deeper into her sleep.

The Dawn became the evening, then the Afternoon, then it became Night. The Moon light shone brightly through her window and onto her head. A Peaceful moment, as one would ask for. In the distance, came a sound like the roar of thunder. To Vinyl, this was probably Pinkie pie launching some fireworks, or probably someone else, just Exploding the sound through their Stereo Bass or having a party. But it got louder, and closer. No longer sounding like thunder, but like a machine, pounding on the gravel road. then the sound grew even louder, more resembling feet marching upon the ground in unison. Suddenly, It stopped. The night became quiet, just the sound of the night time wind blowing into her ear. Then came the sound of metal shifting, moving, being raised while holding a thinner sheet of metal which cut through the air, then suddenly cutting downward, the metal shifts again.

and it became quiet once more...

BOOM! The Thunderous Roar erupts just outside Vinyl's window. The rumbling, the ear piercing sound Just wakes Vinyl up from her peaceful sleep.  Vinyl quickly fell off her bed, quickly getting onto her feet she ran to her window, pushing it wide open and stuck  her head out to take a look. that was when she saw everything.  Her hometown, is being burned. Explosions go off in the Horizon, fire embers began to rise up into the sky like snowfall falling upwards. Vinyl stands in shock, dazed and confused she sticks her head out of the window once more to see what is occurring.

Down below in the streets, men in Dark black armor, a single horn protruding from their helmets; are throwing torches into the homes of her neighbors. Others kicking down the doors to the other homes are storming in like ants on a rampage, the bloodcurdling screams of those who are unlucky to stay there fill the air. As Vinyl turned her attention towards the gravel road that runs through her town, she can see The Royal Guards, clad in Golden armor, being slaughtered and overwhelmed, Swords and battleaxes ripping through the armor and into their flesh, the blood staining the bright gold armor, their screams as heads are being sliced off by the enemies swords.

         "Dear Celestia, your men are being killed-slaughtered. This is unlike anything I've ever seen before. If you receive my prayer. Please, sweet princess of the Sun...PROTECT ME!" she yelled, her hands digging into her hair, and tears ran from her eyes.

A bright green streak of light flies into the wall underneath her window, It sets off an explosion with such force that it lifts Vinyl off the ground, her bed rotating through the air and slamming into her closet door, nearly crushing Vinyl under its immense weight. Vinyl lay on the floor unconscious, debris all around her. Thick red blood, flowing from her forehead, staining her hair and clothing. Minutes fly by, the screams and sounds of swords clashing and men dying are filling up the bright red Night.  Vinyl clenches her fists and slowly gets up, the blood ran faster off of her face. She places one of her hands to stop the bleeding. The pulsing pain in her head isn't helping either. she slowly opens her dark red eyes, her vision restored from it's blurred state.

She stands, looking down upon the devastated town, the Golden bodies of the Royal Guards and the dark black bodies of the enemy lay upon the streets, their thick red blood intertwined into a river of Death. The burning buildings slowly collapse onto the ground, smoke and ember continue to rise into the sky. The sound of Battle has faded away, but Vinyl can still hear it. The fight is moving towards Canterlot Castle, where the Two Princesses: Celestia, princess of the Sun, and Luna, Princess of the Moon live in.

But something, someone is moving on the streets below and quickly grabs Vinyl's attention. she quickly looks at the moving figure, It was a child. It's skin, crisp and Black as if it was burned, pink red spots became a grim reminder of where some skin used to be. He slowly crawls on he ground, leaving behind a trail of Blood. Crying he looks around to find someone he can trust, only to see Vinyl standing in her room above him. His blood mixed with tears as the child's hand reaches out to Her, trying for that last time to grasp something. Crying in sadness and in his failure to touch her, He collapses into the ground crying in the pain. After a good minute He stops moving, his voice slowly fades away along with his cry. He lays on the ground, still, cold, and lifeless, with only his burned body, and a trail of blood and tears as a reminder of his death.

A feeling unlike any other has burst within Vinyl's chest, She sheds off the last drops of tears that hang within her eye. Vinyl rushes to her Closet and opens the door.  She grabbed her Dubstep jacket,  Then her Dubstep goggles. She grabbed some gel and with a quick swipe through her hair,she made it look nice. Quickly she opens a locked Metal case and pulls out her .9mm Handgun imported and crafted in Apalooza for target practices and hunting games. Except this time she'll use it as a weapon, to kill.

It's time to avenge everyone who died in her town...
