DUBMUFFIN: fire in the sky

The Enemy marches towards the Canterlot castle in Unison. Destroying every town in their path, with the destruction of the entire Kingdom as their priority...

In a nearby town, Another battle occurs. More Royal guards try their best to hold off the Invaders, but the enemy always relied on numbers instead of strength. Which is why this Royal platoon has also met their demise. But one Royal Guard stands out from his fellow brothers. He wears no Helmet, he is Bald with scars all over his face, an able body filled with strength, along with cuts and bruises he has received earlier. He is the leader of this platoon, sharp Steel, is his name. Armed with only a Shield and a Steel sword, he battles the enemy. Bashing them onto the ground and stabbing them with such speed that it was a quick death. The enemy team that he fought has all been killed, But he too lost many good men. Now it's just him, against a storm of Dark armored soldiers.

Vinyl has descended into the streets of her devastated town. Her first instinct was to head to where the enemy is going. With a trial of blood and corpses lying behind them, This wouldn't be too hard to follow.

Sharp steel is also heading to where the enemy is going. Jumping over the bodies of his fallen comrades and the bodies of the dark soldiers and innocent civilians. But as he was nearing a small home, he had to quickly duck for cover as a yellow streak just landed a few feet away from him. Exploding the house ahead of him, He looks up and realized that he is finally receiving some air support. For Luna's Air fleet has arrived.

Eight airships has arrived, raining down destruction in the form of heated 1.0 mm caliber shells. Any Unlucky soldiers within the firing range will be obliterated, friend or foe. Sharp steel can see waves of the invaders fall to the ground, clouds of Blood, metal, and flesh are sent into the air. But some of the surviving soldiers quickly transform into a shadow like form and make their escape.

"SHIT!" Steel yells to himself, "No wonder why these guys are no joke. They're FUCKING CHANGELINGS!". He angrily throws his shield onto the ground, and lets out an angry growl.

"This means that I can't trust anyone now. Anyone can be a Changeling" He thought. he soon calms down and grabs his shield, and makes his way to the Canterlot castle.

Vinyl, was not too far away from Sharp Steel. But she too had to stop to admire Luna's air force.

"Incredible, I never seen anything like it" She said to herself, "Now let's hope the Elements of Harmony do their part".

She hasn't gone too far until she heard someone crying for help. Vinyl didn't hesitate to investigate. What she encountered was Derpy Hooves, but she was being held down by two Changeling soldiers, one other is taking away Derpy's daughter: Dinky Hooves. Without hesitation Vinyl aimed her weapon at one of the Changeling guns, and pulled the trigger.  CLANG! a bullet flies into one of the Changeling's skulls, blood bursts out of the other end. Derpy having no idea as to what is going on Knocks the other changeling onto the ground and runs to get her daughter. The Remaining changeling who has Dinky hostage, draws his sword and readies it. Prepared to strike Derpy down.

BLAM! Vinyl fires a Bullet into the Changeling's skull. Dinky has been released from the Changeling's dead grip and runs to her mother. Derpy holds Dinky tightly, tears of Joy ran from her eyes, glad that she has been reunited with her daughter.

"You know I wouldn't let them do that to you" Vinyl said, slowly approaching Derpy and Dinky. She fires a bullet into the Changeling that Derpy knocked to the ground.

   "Thank you so much Vinyl. I thought I would never see her again" Derpy responded still holding Dinky in her arms.

   "Do you know anywhere that is safe? a shelter? home? something?" Vinyl asked.

   "I'm not too sure. I we were going to head to the castle until these guys arrived." Derpy replied.

Vinyl thinks for a while, nodding to herself as she tries to think of a plan.

"I think I know what to do Derpy" says Vinyl, "If there is any entrance to an Underground cellar, or a sewage system, we can try that. Problem is finding one...soon."

Derpy, Dinky, and Vinyl turn their attention to the Canterlot castle. The siege on the castle has begun, Artillery and Heavy fire punch holes within the castle's walls.

"Vinyl, this day ain't going so well." said Derpy Nervously, " I agree that we need to find shelter, and we gotta do it now."

Derpy gets up and looks into Dinky's eyes.

  "We'll all be fine." Derpy says to Dinky in a reassuring voice. She looks at Vinyl once more, "Let's go."

  The Changeling army slowly advances closer to the Canterlot castle, Artillery and Cannon fire strike the castle's walls in an attempt to lower it's defenses. But a Force field is preventing the enemy fire from damaging the castle.  Luna's Air ships continue to rain hellfire onto the Changeling army below. Beyond the Gravel road and just outside of the city arrives another Invasion force. This time it's heavily armored Changelings, But this time instead of the formation being cluttered or scattered, it is organized into a shape of a Square. This time the many battalions are being led by a leader.

This leader is the Queen of the Changeling army, leader of the attack force. She is Queen Chrysalis, The Queen of every Changeling in existence. Her bright green eyes illuminate her face, even through the dark green hair hanging over her face. She smiles to herself, pleased that her plan is slowly working.

"Captain!" She yells into the ranks behind her. A Larger, Changeling soldier walks up to her and kneels before her, his right hand making a fist on his chest.

"You know what to do. take it slow, for I want to enjoy this moment." Chrysalis says to the Captain. He Then responds with a silent nod, And in an instant changes into a different being: A Dragon. He flies into the sky, heading towards the Air ships.

"SOLDIERS!" She yells to the many ranks behind her, "Today, we take EQUESTRIA!" She points at the castle, and her men begin their charge...
