Cobalt awoke and looked at the time, he read six o' clock. He let out a huge yawn and looked around scratching the back of his neck. "Doctor Whooves?!" he called for the Doctor but no answer. He sighed and grabbed his guitar along with his bag and headed out. "Well I guess first things first is to-"

Before he could finish his sentence, he saw a poster that sent shivers up his spine. He saw a girl with a high-crowned hat, and a big guy holding two pails full of apples. He decided to go up to them and ask for basic information.
"Hey there, whats the poster for?"

"Hmm? Oh, hello there, wait are you new?" this girl looked at Cobalt and already Cobalt got the idea of southern hospitality.

"Why yes. I am new here, my names Cobalt." as he said extending his hand and looking at both of them.
"Well its a pleasure to meet you Cobalt, I'm Applejack and this is my big brother Big Macintosh." she motioned toward the big guy behind her.

"Likewise, Im glad to meet some nice faces in this town."
"Eeeyup." Cobalt raised an eyebrow at the one small statement and shrugged it off.

"So, what about the poster?" as he said motioning towards it.

"Oh! Im sorry I was just rambling, this poster is saying that the musicians Vinyl Scratch, and Octavia are coming to Ponyville for a concert." before she said this Cobalt was already walking towards the area of the stage set up.

"Well it was nice meeting you new pony!" Applejack attempted to yell back before he left.
"He's a quick one ain't he Big Macintosh."
"Eeeyup."

Cobalt decided to duck down behind a bail of hay and observe the area, so far he was already getting all the memories back from when he lived in Canterlot. All he could imagine was the constant insults and constant rejection. He couldn't bare to relive these memories, he stood up and sat on the bail of hay.

"Behind him someone tapped his shoulder and he jumped up surprised. It was Fluttershy, he felt very relieved and rubbed his neck. "H-hey Fluttershy, h-hows it going?"

Fluttershy noticed she surprised him. "O-oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to surprise you are you alright?" as she said looking at him.

"Y-yeah I'm fine you just surprised me that's all." Fluttershy blushed at that fact and brushed her hair a bit out of her eyes.
"Uhmm will you be staying for the concert?" as she said holding her hair.

"Y-yeah why you ask?" as he said looking at the stage and then back to her.

"W-well me and my friends will be there, do y-you want to watch it with us?"

"Sure, I'd be happy to" as he said that he followed Fluttershy to a table with all her friends. He recognized Rainbow Dash and Applejack but not the other three or the small boy sitting next to Rainbowdash.

"Hey Cobalt!" as Applejack and Rainbowdash exclaimed. Rainbowdash and Applejack looked at eachother and laughed at how both of them knew him.

So this is the guy you were talking to us about Fluttershy, Cobalt looked at Fluttershy and blushed at that statement.
Fluttershy seemed to blush as well and looked away.

"Oh, well enough about that Im Twilight and this is Spike." as she said offering him a seat, ironically next to Fluttershy.

"Hey there Cobalt, thats a sweet guitar you got there bro, do you play?" as Spike said, a bit indulged with Cobalts guitar.

Cobalt and Spike high-fived and were instantly friends. Another girl looked at Cobalt and Spike instantly stopped listening to Cobalt and listened to her. She examined him a bit.

"Umm darling, don't you think you should of came to this event with a bit cleaner clothing?" as she said that Cobalt looked at his shirt and jeans and noticed alot of dirt.

"I guess you have a point but I guess I need some new clothing." as he sighed.

"Well if you ever need clothing just come by the Carousel Boutique and I'll get you fitted out." Cobalt nodded at her generosity.

Cobalt looked at the one scarfing down cake and ice cream. She looked at him and smiled greatly.

"Hi! Im Pinkipie, oooo would you like some cake!?" as she said holding up some for him. Cobalt simply declined and looked at Fluttershy who was playing with her hair. He sighed and looked at the stage and didn't notice that the show started and Octavia and Vinyl were performing. Then Cobalt remembered his childhood all those times the other fillies made fun of him but Vinyl and Octavia defended him, but no one cared they continued to do it. He sighed and looked at Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy would you mind if I went to your Butterfly Grove, just to.....relax." as he said that standing up and grabbing his guitar.

"Well, I suppose." as she said looking up at him. When she finished he began walking towards the forest to get to the Butterfly Grove. As he enters that gem-like butterfly lands on his shoulder and sits there as he sits back down on the stump. He takes out his guitar and plays a melody but then suddenly drifts off.

The music turns from a relaxing tone to a ear bleeding screech. Cobalt landed on his knees completely freaked out by a demonic looking monster destroying his guitar and looks at him, soon coming straight at him and killing him. Cobalt then appears on the ground in a damp forest. A voice omits from nearby it was comforting and not demonic ,like the rest.

He stood up and saw Princess Luna standing infront of him. "Princess Luna? Wh- why are you here?" as he said coming to his feat.

Princess Luna approached Cobalt and patted his head softly. "I'm here because you shouldn't dream these constant nightmares, it's a sad sight to see, and plus you have something in your life that will eventually help you through this."

Cobalt wondered what she was talking about but before he could ask why he was awake and in someones home with a wet rag on his forehead.

"Wh-where am I?" as he looks around, from what he could see.

"O-oh your awake are you alright?" a silent voice said from next to him.

He was inside Fluttershy's home.

Author's Note

The main reason I feature Fluttershy in this part is because I feel Cobalt should have a small love interest. Sooo it is a bit cliche so.
