Inside of a Ponyville cottage lives a stallion known simply as "The Writer". He recently lost his marefriend, Miss Court, and is brought almost to the brink of insanity. To cope, he writes a story that almsot exactly mirrors his life, making the characters face the same kind of pains he feels.
