The Prince Returns

"Why would you do this!" The voice screamed.

"You don't understand! Your sister-" "I don't care what you say! I wish we never even met!" The voice was a pony, the size of a normal pony. A white coat and a black mane.

The pony was an alicorn. But he was crying and angry. He suddenly ran and jumped off the roof.

"Luna, do you remember that pony you adopted?" Celestia turned her head to the black mare who was trying to remember what she was talking about.

"Sister. I do...He has been gone for awhile." She has a tear in her eye as she looked back at her sister.

Celestia looked back at a blank piece of paper. "I think I have an idea sister."

Luna looked back at her sister and smiled at the idea. Celestia started writing to her student.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I have a task for you that may help Equestria. Gather your friends and meet me at the foot of The Everfree Forest. This is very important that you don't fail me. But I know you won't. Sincerely, Princess Celestia.

The mare used her magic to send the message to her faithful student and got up from her throne and went towards the door.The guards fallowed her out the door to her chariot as the got into their places. The chariot started to lift up as the ponies kicked up and down and their wings flapped as they flew off to their location.

Twilight was waiting with her friends at the foot of the forest. The chariot came into the fields. "Princess, what is the task?" Twilight asked excitedly.

"Twilight, a long time ago...Me and Princess Luna adopted some baby alicorns at an auction. Once I sent Luna to the moon, he couldn't comprehend her being gone. He ran away and went forward into time. Now it is time that you bring him back." The princess was serious, she wanted the prince back.

"You can count on us." Twilight insisted.

The Princess nodded and looked toward the forest where the statue stood. The ponies rushed off, and the princess turned back to her chariot and it flew off back to canterlot.

Chapter 1

The ponies were walking in the forest and wondering how far it could go. They finally made it to the statue and its top loomed over them as they noticed it was only a matter of time till night falls. "Alright girls, it's time to use or elements to activate the relic." Twilight soon got out the elements and put them on each girl.

They started to use the elements as the rainbow came around to each pony. The elements shined as the statue began to gleam. As the statue was covered in rainbows, it shined and a beam from the top was shot out into the sky. "Where's the colt?" Rainbow said as she flew to the statue.

"I don't know, lets go back girls." Twilight insisted.

The ponies began to walk back to Ponyville. The mares were depressed that the statue didn't do anything. Soon after night, when the moon was full, A comet struck out and crashed down in sweet apple acres. Smoke rose from the crater like a barbecue. Applejack woke right up and stared at the window. The smoke seemed to signal the landing. She went out in the freezing cold to see what happened.

She looked down and couldn't believe her eyes. In the crater was a colt, with a white coat and black mane. It's cutiemark was a solar eclipse and its wings were black tipped. She got into the crater and dragged out the colt. He was light for his age. But yet, time to time he would get heavy. She soon got to the barn and put the colt on a pile of hay. It was breathing slowly and it was injured pretty rough.

The night was long and Applejack didn't get much sleep. She was watching the colt all night. As the sun, rose the colt woke up. He looked around the barn and saw Applejack sleeping on the ground. He wasn't sure what happened but he had an idea that he crashed in the middle of the night.

The mare suddenly woke up as the sun hit her face. She looked over at the colt as he stared back at her. "Your alive?!" she stuttered as the colt returned to looking at the ceiling.

The colt nodded and looked back at her. "I always survive the fall, why wouldn't I be?" He asked as the mare's eyes widened.

"You always survive the fall?!" She yelled.

"Yeah, this has happened numerous times. Why?"

"I though you died!" She yelled once more as the rest of the gang rushed over. "Applejack whats all the-" Twilight paused and looked over her shoulder.

"Who's that?" Twilight asked looking towards him.

"Beats me, in the middle of the night he came crashing down." Applejack said as she told them what had happen during the night.

"So your saying, he went so fast he made a crater!? Sounds like my kinda guy." Rainbow Dash said.

"Rainbow, we hardly know who he is, let's get to meet him before you go all friendly with him darling." Rarity replied to her.

"I know, but going so fast and making a crater sounds amazing!" Rainbow added.

Rainbow flew over to the colt. "So, how fast can you go?" She asked.

"3,000 miles per hour. " He replied.

"Woah! That is faster then I can go! How about a sonic rainboom?" She asked again.

"I can do a double one." he answered.

Rainbow was shocked somepony could top how fast she goes. She flew back to the rest of the ponies. "My questions done. how about you go Twilight." She exclaimed.

Twilight nodded as she walked over to the colt. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, whats your name?" She asked him.

"Shadow, pleasure to meet you Twilight."
