The Prince Returns

"Sister, Are you sure?" Luna asked with a slight sorrow look on her face.

"Trust me, He will come back. I have a plan." Celestia told Luna her plan in her ear.

"But, what if that doesn't work?" Luna asks.

"It will, I know it will." Celestia admitted.

Chapter 3

The starry night sky was a deep blue and the moon shined on the hill Twilight's friends were sitting. They walked up to the top as the stars glistened. Shadow looked at the moon, The mare in the moon was gone. It's been roughly 1,001 years since he had returned. Once they got up there they were both greeted by Twilight's friends. Pinkie Pie had brought some food and punch on a blanket for a picnic.

The picnic was short and Shadow only had a glass of punch and a sandwich Pinkie had made. Twilight had brought her telescope to get a better view of the comets. When they started raining down it was like a show of falling blazes. Shadow rarely saw comets due to the fact he was always cooped up inside the castle. He enjoyed it as all the ponies watched in awe. Then he felt something touching him and looked over to see Twilight next to him.

He turned to the other ponies who were still watching the comets. He wrapped his wing around her. She looked back at him and just went along with it. She blushed slightly and when the other ponies turned to them they all smiled and went "awww...".

Shadow turned to them and they quickly looked at the comets. He put his head calmly on Twilight's as she dosed off to sleep. When he noticed her sleeping beside him he got up and rolled her sleeping body on top of him. "We will be heading home." He announced. They all said goodbye and he walked back to Twilight's house.

There he put Twilight her bed and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight, Twilight."

He walks down to his spot where he was and he fell asleep.
