As they finished their last song the Godfather walked up to the front of the stage and said with a smirk.
"Well, anyone want to join me for another song or two?"
This time, more ponies raised their hooves to the sky.
"Alright. Let's see, you, you, you, you, aaaaand you. Sorry, that's all we'll need for now. For this next part, we'll be doing a bit of country, classical, rock, electric, and whatever else I can find. Give us a moment to set up."
And with that he walked off to his blue box. This time, everyone went to his box. Just like last time, he came out only seconds later with everyone changed and carrying an instrument. He once again walked to the front of the stage and shouted to the crowd.
"So, change of plans. I really want to play a song for a few friends of mine that I only met recently. So, this first song should be obvious who it's for. Oh and if it isn't, my friends are the Elements of Harmony. That should clear it up. That is all."
He then walked back and the band started to play their song. They played...
When the song was over, they immediately went to get ready for the next couple songs, not even needing to go into the blue box. The band still consisted of Lucky Clover, Foxtrot, Ratch, Big Mac, Spike, Shadow Lurker, Thunderlane, and Fancypants. For some reason this guy decided to show up in this small town. Oh well, we'll never understand the rich. Though the additions were Vinyl Scratch, Octavia, a young stallion named Robbins, another middle-aged stallion named Utah, and lastly, a young mare named Mariah. Once they were finished setting up, the started their next songs. They played...
Then they played...
Next they played...
After that they played...
Lastly, they played...
As they last key of the piano was played, the crowd roared with applause for their songs. The whole band walked to the front of the stage, shoulder to shoulder, and took a bow for their performance. Then the Godfather and Doctor walked up to the front of the stage as the others backed away from the front of the stage. The two men both carried a microphone in their right hand. The Doctor spoke up first though.
"It has been a long time since I've played any kind of music. I thought I was a bit rusty. Then again, I lived here for about ten or so years without hands so that may have been why."
"Same here. Except I've lived here for a bit longer. Still, I think we did good. What do ya'll think?" He finished while turning to the crowd. A roar of approval was his only response. "Yep, we did good. Well, thank you all for coming and have a nice day."
"Good day to you all!" The Doctor said.
With that, the Godfather clapped his hands and the transformed returned to their normal state as he disappeared.
~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~
"Um, what just happened?" Rainbow asked.
"I think the alien we just met play a song for each of us, with our friends transformed into those bipedal creatures, and then disappeared while changing them all back." Rarity said.
"That about sums it up." Twilight said.
"Where is he now?" Fluttershy asked.
"Maybe he went to the library."
"Hey, I found this place that sells rice! I didn't know this town sold rice." The Godfather said, walking up to the group.
"Dude, what was the whole deal with concert?" Rainbow asked.
"What concert?" He asked with a confused look on his face.
"The on you just put on not even five minutes ago." Applejack told him.
"I didn't put on a concert."
"Yes, you did." Twilight said.
"I think I would remember that kind of thing. Just sayin'."
"Godfather!" They turned to see the Doctor walking up with Derpy right behind him. "I bet your confused about everyone talking about a concert you supposedly put on but you can't remember, correct?"
"Yup."
"Well, I was just performing with you, and you told me to come and tell you to get going! You got a show to put on! Oh by the way, here's what we'll be playing." He handed him piece of paper folded up and the Godfather put it in his jacket pocket.
"Well, that explains some things." The he said with a smile "Wibley Wobley,"
"-Timey Wimey." They said together with a laugh.
"Alright, right now I'm at the library. That's if I follow my own plan."
"Alright, see you there."
With that, the Godfather walked towards a blue box appearing in an alleyway close by.
"Oh and Doctor, thank future me for sending past me my past TAMDT." He said before he walked off.
~~~~~At The Library~~~~~
The small group arrived at the library to see the godfather, once again, wearing a different outfit. He was wearing a pair of denim jeans with a red plaid button down shirt, and a long, brown duster lying on the back of his chair. He had his back turned to the door and was reading a book titled "Lord of the Rings". He turned to face the door as they walked in and had a smile on his face.
"So, how'd you like the concert?" He said as they walked in.
"It was great!" Everyone except the Doctor said in unison.
"Glad you liked it. You did great today too Doctor."
"Same with you. We should do that again someday. Remember back when we did that concert at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas?"
"Oh yes. How could I forget? That's why I love Austin, they love their live music concerts. They really like 'Ballad of the Alamo'."
"Yes, and Big Iron."
Meanwhile the rest of the room's occupants started their own conversation.
"Hey, Derpy?" Twilight said.
"Yeah Twilight?" Derpy responded.
"How long have you known the Doctor?"
"Oh for a couple years now. I met him when he first came to Equestria."
"Have you met the Godfather before today too?"
"No, but the Doctor did talk a lot about him. They seem to be very good friends from what I've heard and seen."
"What's Texas?" Rainbow asked.
"I think it's a place from this planet the Doctor always talked about called Earth." Derpy responded.
"Yes it is." Twilight said.
"How do you know Twilight?" Rarity asked.
"He took me their before he met all of you. He went there old and came back without his legs. Which is what the gold explosion thing earlier all about."
"Oh he regenerated!" Derpy said.
"I guess. Thou-"
Suddenly she was interrupted as the Godfather and the Doctor yelled out simultaneously.
"ALLON-SY"
They both went over to their companions to explain to the what was happening.
"WE'RE GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!" They both yelled at their companions.
The Godfather ran to the basement with his companions into his TAMDT. The Doctor instead ran out the front door with Derpy to his TARDIS.
And now, the fun begins.
