Chapter 3: Prepearations

I sat in the castle's salon. I was having my hooves cleaned and polished. My mane was being being washed and fixed. My wings now invisible and I have shrunk in size. Now you are probably wondering what happened. Well, turns out we are going to Twilight's Coronation, and we had to have a disguise. I was disguised as a unicorn, my sister was an earth pony and an familiar looking alicorn stallion was going as a pegasus. We are supposed to leave in an hour, well I should be ready by then. Anyways let me tell you what went down, besides me when I fell off Alexandria.

When I Fell Off Alexandria.

I slid off my guardian and landed on my back in pain. "Ow." The alicorn was standing next to me and she looked down at me. A smirk covered her face. "And to think they called you graceful," she chuckled and pulled me up into a warm hug. "Welcome home sister."

"Umm...Thanks?" To be truthful, I didn't know what to do. As a kid I was awkward, and now I'm meeting my long lost sister, in my long lost land. So...extra awkwardness...yay. She let go of me and looked over at Alexandria, "Thank you my dear friend. Go to the Dragon Spa now, they must get you washed, brushed, waxed and polished. We have a coronation to get to."

"Yes, my queen," said my guardian as she bowed her head, a smile played on her lips. Free spa trip for her I guess. "Now you and I have to go to the castle and get ourselves disguised and tidied up. "Disguised?"

"Yes, yesterday I received a letter from Princess Celestia, we have been invited to Twilight's Princess Coronation. We have to be disguised though so that no pony knows that we to, are alicorns."

"What about Alexandria...shouldn't she be disguised? I'm pretty sure a lot of ponies will freak out once they see a giant black dragon coming towards them."

"I do agree, and she will be disguised as a black wolf. Not a timber wolf, but an adorable small wolf. " We started walking towards the castle. "You will be put in your usual disguise. In fact, all of us will be."

"What is our usual disguises?"

"Well I'm usually an earth pony, you are usually a unicorn, and Prince Electric Boomerang Storm is usually a pegasus."

"Why do we have those types of disguises?"

"Well, you are thought to be a famous DJ in Equestria, so you need a horn. I am a widely known earth pony who owns the biggest wool industry in Equas, and Boomerang is a pegasus because he is the main controller of whether in Equas."

"Wow, so we're all famous either way."

"Yes, but no pony knowns that we are alicorns, or royalty."

"Ah, I see. Sister.."

"Just call me Ivy."

"Alright, well Ivy, how long was I gone?" She looked crestfallen and whispered, "Two thousand years. A VERY long two thousand years."

"Wow," I whispered, "So Aussaddle has been in a famine for two thousand years?"

"Yea pretty much. How did you know about the famine?"

"Alexandria."

"Well that makes sense. Anyways here we are." I was confused, we were standing in front of two doors that most likely led to the spa. I guess I was to busy to notice that we were inside the castle already. Two guards stood at the entrance. "Well lets go and get pretty," smiled Ivy. We walked in and the first thing I saw was a giant mirror. I had an Aloe and Lotus style mane. The band was light blue and my mane was light green. Both very dirty in fact I had mud streaks going down everywhere on my body. Anyways, my body was a processed magenta color and the tips of my hooves are light green and so was my muzzle. A sharp spiral horn sat upon my forehead. I turned to the side, my wings were process magenta also but had light green tips. My tail was mostly light green but had a giant light blue streak in the middle. I decided that for a cartoon pony, I was pretty damn sexy looking. I looked at my eyes and they were light green. I was really hoping that my eyes wouldn't have changed. "Are you done checking yourself out?"

"Um, yea I think so," I smiled sheepishly. "Good, now wait a second." Her horn had a gold aurora to it and I started feeling a bit funky. "All done," she smiled. I looked in the mirror again. I was much shorter and I was missing my wings. "That's cool, but I like myself better as an alicorn."

"I do to Cara, but we must." A gold aurora covered her body and her horn and wings slowly grew invisible and she also shrunk. Her horn stopped glowing. Her mane was were now curly and puffy. It looked really girly. She smiled and said, "Come on." She pulled my hoof and she put me in a seat, and sat next to me. Now close your eyes and let the mares and fillies here do all the work." And that brings us to where I left off in the beginning. "So Ivy, can you tell me about my husband and foal?" She let out a heavy sigh. "I really wish Alexandria didn't tell you about that. Can I tell you after the coronation?" I paused to think about it. Well I might as well wait, I wouldn't want to ruin the coronation with whatever emotion I was going to be feeling. "So um, will my eyes ever be the same color as they were on Earth?"

"Yes, they will get there eventually. Same with your mane and tail. They will soon be flowing like mine and Princess Celestia's and Princess Luna's."

"That's good that's good. So what is my job around here now?"

"Well you will be in charge of both suns from 5:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Also, while I watch after the kingdom, you will take a group of solders and start rescuing ponies from the mines in Aussaddle. That should only take you around one year...at the most. From there on you will go into Equestria and go to the Dominion and help around there. Sound alright with you?"

"A bit much, but how am I supposed to do all that? I will have no idea what to do. Plus I don't know how to use magic."

"It will take only around a month for you to relearn magic, plus a lot of your magic will flow through your music. You'll be fine. I know you will."

"Who's going to teach me magic?"

"Well, I'll be to busy to be able to teach you. Thats why Boomerang is going to teach you."

"Who's Boomerang?"

"The Prince of Aussaddle. He's a good friend of ours and has turned into an alicorn. Not even he knows how it happened, turning into an alicorn I mean."

"And we are done," a mare next to me said. She had a dark blue mane and tail and had an almost white silver coat. Her cutie mark was curling iron of some sort. "Thank you very much."

"Not a problem your majesty." I looked in the mirror again. This time I just looked really clean. I was wearing a light blue dress that reached the floor. It was tight up until it reached my behind where it fell into three layers. The middle layer was purple and the bottom later light green. The trim was a very pale orange. It was just all these colors that shouldn't go together, but put the way this dress was, well it was just simply magnificent. "It's beautiful."

"Well Paris tried her best."

"Who's Paris?"

"Paris Belle is the top designer in all of Aussaddle."

"Ah, I see. Well give her my gratitude."

"Will do your majesty." All the mares and fillies walked out of the room. A pegasus stallion walked in. He was dark gray and light gray paint pattern. His blonde hair with electric blue highlights was shaggy and kept falling into his eyes. "I'm ready to go mates." He kept staring at me. His gray/blue eyes searching for something. I reached out my hoof, "Hey I'm Cara." He looked down at my hoof and smiled, "They call me Boomerang."

"It's a please to meet you." He just smiled slightly and walked out of the door. "Lets go, we have a Coronation to get to." We walked through the glass hallways the sun just barely in the sky. "Wait, wasn't it noon when I got here?"

"The sun still has a mind of its own. We can't control it."

"Oh." There was carriages awaiting with pegasus stallions waiting for us. We all climbed in and waited for one more member to join us. I looked around and in the distance I saw a black dragon flying towards us at high speed. The scales gleamed magnificently. She started slowing down as she got closer to us. She was around forty feet away from us, when she started glowing purple and formed into a wolf right in front of us. She carefully trotted to the carriages and hopped into mine. "MALISHKA!" I hugged her, she may have been disguised as a wolf, but her coloring was exactly as it had been when she was my little dog. I am embraced her in a warm hug, and she cuddled into me. "Hi Jessi." I let go of her. Well let us get to this coronation safely. The pegasus' lifted the carriages of the ground and we were off to the Canterlot Castle.
