Chapter 4: Princess Coronation

I woke myself up with a sneeze....or at least I THOUGHT I woke myself up with a sneeze. As I opened my eyes I noticed that a certain grey/silver pegasus was giggling. I glared at him, "HAH Very funny Boomerang."
"Funny it was mate," he chuckled. I stretched out all my bones and muscles. My wings felt weird though...probably because they were held tightly against my body.... because of the dress. I looked at them to make sure that they were still invisible. Yup, they were still invisible. I admit, I was slightly confused again. How is it that I could feel my wings, yet I couldn't see their outline on the dress? I gave him one last glare before I looked down and fixed my dress. "You look beautiful, stop trying to fix things when they are perfect." I furious looking blush crept unto my cheeks. I have never had a compliment from a guy in my life. Not that I could remember of, and especially not of one that I just met. "You look very s-s-stunning yourself," I stuttered. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Why did I just tell him that? Now he's gonna think I like him. Which I'm pretty sure I don't...I mean like come on...he's a horse. Well he's actually a pony, but whatever. "So, uh, are we almost there?"
"Look down," was his answer. So I looked down and the view was breathtaking. I never thought that Canterlot would be this beautiful. The streets shined in the sunlight and the building shimmered. I wondered if it was always this beautiful. I looked up and ahead of us was the Canterlot Castle, I had the excitement of a little filly who had just gotten her cutie mark. In around ten minutes, we reached the castle. The carriages carried us down softly. Princess Celestia met us at the gate. She looked at her guards, "They are with me," then she looked over at us. "Come with me quickly."
"What seems to be the problem Tia?"
"Ivy, I need all of you to stay after the ceremony. We need to have THE meeting."
"I Understand my fellow friend." Princess Celestia turned around and gave us a quick smile. "Go inside and grab a place to sit. There should be plenty, since you have gotten here a bit earlier. I have to stay out here and greet all the guests."
"Thank you," Ivy bowed down and after she got up we walked between the large double doors. The first thing we saw when we walked in was a giant staircase. It was beautiful. The stairs were made out of marble and the railings were made of solid gold. Purple velvet curtains lined the windows. We carefully walked up the steps. Our hoof steps echoed in the castle.
"Hey Boomer! I'll race ya to the top!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it mate," he smiled over at me. I started galloping towards the top with my dress flowing behind me. Boomerang was catching up to me pretty fast. He was now five steps away from me, and I was fifteen steps from the top. Now he and I were right next to each other and our hoofbeats were in perfect sync. Four, three, two, one and it turned out to be a tie. We both collapsed on the floor. "I won," I said.
"I believe I did, mate," and he winked at me. Ivy reached the top around thirty seconds after we got to the top. "How," *pant* "did," *pant* "did you get," *pant* "up here after" *pant* "us so fast," I asked.
"I trotted briskly. I am neither sweaty, tired, or winded. I am a mature mare." I looked over at Boomerang who chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Sure Ivy, sure you are." She rolled her eyes at me. "Come on, might as well find our seats now." Boomerang jumped up and came to help me stand up. "Thanks," I smiled up at him. "Not a problem mate," he grinned. We walked down the stretch of red carpet. The sunlight pouring through the stained glass windows and causing little pictures to dance on the floor beneath us. We reached a second pair of doors, two guards and a very familiar looking black wolf next to them. "How did you get up here so fast, Alexandria?"
"That's for me to know, and you to never find out," she winked.
"Anyways," Ivy glared at us and then turned towards the guards and fluttered her eyelashes, "May we go in."
"Of course," the guard said gruffly while shuffling his hooves.
"Thank you." We walked through the opening doors. The red carpet from the hallway continued into the throne room. This time gold trim outlined the carpet. The windows near the back were large and red curtains outlined them. The ones near the front had three lit candles in-between each set of windows. White drapes drooped within each window and were connected by purple flowers. The alter in the front was green with many different types of flowers. We sat nearer to the front. By this time, many ponies were starting to pile into the room. I recognized Twilight's parents and both were crying. I don't blame them, I would cry to if my unicorn daughter turned into an alicorn. I started thinking about my foal. Was it a boy or girl? What color was my foal? What was her personality like? Did we have a good mother and child relationship? Who was her father? How did HE look like? Were we a happy, tight knit family? Or falling apart? Why couldn't I remember anything? Maybe Discord got the wrong human? But then what about Malishka/Alexandria she turned from guard dog to guard dragon and remembers everything perfectly. What did I do that caused me to be cast away into a place that only Discord could reach?
"Cara, Cara," I shook my head and looked at the culprit of the annoying side poking. It was a certain grey/silver pegasus with an Authentic Aussaddle accent. "What do you want," I snapped. I just hated when people interrupted my train of thought questions. "The ceremony is over, we have to go to Princess Celestia's bedroom for the meeting."
"The ceremony was that fast?"
"It was two hours," he looked at me with a concerned expression. "Are you feeling alright mate?"
"Yea, I was just deep in thought and it certainly didn't feel like two hours." He snorted and stood up, "Well come on. I can't believe you missed such an important ceremony."
"Sorry," I looked down in shame. He lifted my chin, "It's alright, I'm sure I can cast a spell so that you could see what happened."
"Thanks," I gave him a small smile. I was such an idiot for missing such an important event. It's not everyday that a common pony folk turns into an alicorn princess. Alexandria nudged me with her nose, "this way." I followed her and Boomerang out the doubt doors that we came in. "Where is Ivy?"
"She's already there." I stopped suddenly. A crazy theory JUST hit my mind. "Boomerang, stop."
"What is it?"
"I just figured it out."
"What did you just figure out."
"Tia and Luna are also my sisters. Ivy is the Dawn of time. She is the eldest among us. She was the first to control everything. Then Tia came along and is the second eldest. She is the light of Equas. She controls the Celestial star, only she can light the first Equestrian sun in such a manner that the ponies feel safe and sound while it is over their heads. I am the Dusk of time. I control the first and second sun at Dusk because only I can cause the hues that the sky has at that time. Just the sight maked ponies want to sing and dance which causes Luna's night to be filled with parties. She is the youngest of all of us. Since I was cast away, the dusk just wasn't the same and no one wanted to party into the night. They would only play and have parties in the day and they would ignore the night. Which caused Luna to be cast away to the moon because her jealousy made her into a tyrant known as Nightmare Moon. Without one another, the planet Equas can not work properly. It needs all four sisters in control, in order to cause the most peaceful and harmonic world that could be achieved." Boomerang smiled at me, his eyes filled with joy and something that I couldn't put my hoof on. "At least you remember something." I gave him a very big smile. "Well lets continue, I'm sure your sisters are waiting." We started trotting briskly to Tia's bed chambers. "Boomerang?"
"Yea?"
"What about you? I can't figure out where you fit into this."
"You'll remember one day. At least I hope you do."
"Why can't you just tell me?"
"Because it will mess up everything. You MUST find out at a certain time. Not sooner or later."
"Oh...ok." We walked though a glass hallway. The setting sun playing through the stained glass windows. Shadows played on our coats. A small smile found its way to my lips. We went through a door and up some stairs. A giant set of white doors with gold accents greeted our eyes. "Is this it," my breath was literally taken from the sight before me. These were like he most magnificent doors I have ever seen. "Yup, this is it." He opened the door.
