Assistant at the Boutique
In the Cellar
Previous ChapterHe trotted through the room towards the door leading onto the stairway down the cellar. “What color? Black?”, he asked, not turning around. “Why, of course! There should be some in the chest next to the door.” He opened the door and stepped into the dark room. He checked for the light switch and turned it on. One lonely bulb hanging from the center of the celing hardly lit the place up, but you could see the fabric stored in the shelves and boxes containing buttons, zippers and stuff. Stitchers horn began to glow and sparks started to fall of the tip, spending some additional light. “Chest next the door... Let's see”, he said into the room. He looked around and found a chest right next to him. He leaned down to read what's inside, but there was no label, so he tried to open it and see if that was the chest containing the ties. “Hng! Hmpf! What in Equestria?” There was no visible lock, but he wasn't able to open it. With a 'crack' the lid flew open.
“What's in here now?” The stallion looked into the chest hoping to find the ties he should bring upstairs, but there weren't any. Instead there was a wipe lying on top of the contents. He took it out and looked at it closer. It was a leather wipe, fine stripes of the black leather braided around the handle. It was not the type of wipe Applejack used for the cows. There where several strands of the leather leading from the handle, each with a knot at the end. He looked back into the chest. The next object he couldn't figure out with the first look. He took it out as well to find out it was a harness with a gag. Strange thoughts started to form in his mind, but got blown away by a voice from outside the room.
“What is taking so long, can't you fin-” Raritys eyes went wide as she entered the room and saw Stitcher observing the strange goods. Her cheeks immediately went bright red in embarasment. She tried to speak, tried to find excuses: “This is- I mean... I didn't! HOW did you get that chest open?!” The sudden explosion of her voice shocked him and he let the harness drop into the chest. “I- I wasn't to break the lock! I swear! I was looking for the 'chest next to the door'. I wasn't to search through your... private stock as well!” - “So, what is it then what you are doing there? And I meant that chest over there!” She pointed her hoof at a chest next to the door leading to another room. If looks could kill even a cat would have lost all its seven lives. But to Stitcher's surprise all the anger on her white face got immediately disappered. Instead a ashamed look took over. “Rarity, I can guess how embarresing this is for you, but you can trust me, I will never tell anypony of this.” He looked back at the chest again and found something like black panties and tights. But he quickly faced Rarity again as he heared hooves stepping on the cold stone floor. She was slowly trotting towards him, facing him with slightly lowered eyelids. “Oh, you won't...”
