Chapter 3: The Story Part 2

Flare clapped her hooves together strong and loud as Nightmare ended her story. The clap of the hooves sent an eruption of sound blazing through the room, shaking pictures that were hung onto their sides and sending pots nearly shattering if not for unicorns and alicorns magics.

"That was a short story for it being a thousand years and all," Rainbow spoke softly, not wanting to anger any goddess present.

Then they heard snoring. All eyes were pointed directly at Fluttershy. Solar Flare was angered and showed her cartoony smile to the mare. She opened her eyes.

"O-Oh d-d-de-ar!" she squeaked out.

Celestia and Luna along with Nightmare used their magic to pull her by her breastplate to sit back down.

Flare sighed. "Okay, ready for a better story?"

WARNING: GORE (KIND OF)

Flare skidded along the gravel in the royal parking for carriages. She looked up at the two sisters whom defeated her opposite easily. She glared and sneered, then got up, poised for another attack on them. The sisters had magic surrounding them, like an aura. She looked into the flame and water pouring off of their manes, then felt a searing pain on the right side of her body. She looked down only to vomit. The sisters had distracted her with a show-and-tell-spell, only for Princess Miamore Cadenza to take about seventeen jabs with her horn into her rib cage, piercing her heart, lungs, and a couple other organs. The sisters and niece looked down to her, and united their power and she felt burning sensations all over her body. She closed her eyes for what she felt would be the last time. But she still had fight in her.

"I w-will come b-back a-an-and make you pay!" Flare yelled and screamed and kicked, then took her last breath, and closed her flaming eyes.

Flare felt warm. Warm like how she had fought with the princesses souls, then became a new being. She opened her eyes only to see a white desert in front of her. She looked around, only sand, everywhere. She looked straight ahead and saw the moon. In a couple centuries she could talk to her sister, plotting to escape. Soon, though, stopped talking to her. She would try to engage her in chit chat, but Nightmare Moon only gave a couple words as a sorry excuse for an answer: I'm done with this. With you.

From then on, Solar Flare would harass the princesses and her betraying little sister, only to be left, not talked to.

She would gaze down at the planet, and think, the sky is always clear. I feel bad making my little ponies hot.... She gathered up energy and made foamy puffs of air, which Celestia later named clouds. Flare could hear the pleas of the colts, fillies, mares, and stallions alike, for them to be shaped. She would shape them like ponies or make letters. Then she took the clouds away. Ponies would beg Celestia to return them but she would simply say: I can't.

'Can you please bring the clouds back, or are you planning something big like Nightmare Moon?' Celestia would ask.

'With time, sister, with time,' would be her response every time.

After 5 centuries of gathering power from Solar Day and keeping the clouds from her home planet Animailia, she finally returned them to the surface. New scientists were befuddled, as they were black or red or orange. She explained to Celestia: The whispy ones are cirrus. The puffy ones are cumulus. The dark ones are stratus, and then red and blue ones represent us as a family maybe once again?

After another seven hundred years, Celestia and Luna gazed at the moon, this time with Nightmare's attention, the three out of four sisters spoke: All is forgiven, Princess Solar Flare.

Solar Flare ended her story and looked at the rooms occupents. All were staring into her eyes, begging for more details.

Rainbow Dash spoke up first.

"So, how was the battle? How'd you fight and all that junk?" she asked.

The two demon like mares exchanged glances and smiled and opened their mouths. "Bathroom break!"

In a flash of blue and red magic they were gone, while the two princesses giggled to each other as their twins had left.

"I think we can all use some sleep, it is already dark outside," Luna spoke in her elegant voice. The ponies let out an exaggerated sigh and clip clopped back to their rooms.

Twilight and her friends looked around their room. It had two three story bunk beds. They all shrugged to each other, not sure of what to do. The pegasi slept on the top bunks, the unicorns in the middle, and the earth mares on the bottom bunks.

Celestia and Luna found Solar Flare and Nightmare Moon in the stained glass hall. They were staring at a particular piece. It showed a picture of the princesses using magic to banish them to the sun and moon. As the original princesses walked closer, they caught the glints and glimmers of silver tears streaming their cheeks, leaving darker stains in their fur. Luna then prodded Celestia.

"Ahem, are you mares okay?" she questioned the crying females.

"Heh-hem. Uhm, we-I-both of us are okay, just recalling old stories," Nightmare spoke for the two.

Flare hung her head, her long elegant neck weeping like a willow. In a burst of flaming magic she teleported to her old room. It had all of her clothes and furniture. The flame red bed and orange curtains hanging. Her scrolls were still there too. She recalled the time when Celestia had her room built when Solar Flare had come to her mind, as her opposite. They would sit in this room, and think of ways to make it hotter so ponies would appreciate the sun more. Flare sighed, let out a moan, and went to bed, after wiping of a sheet of dust.

Nightmare gazed at the princesses, then blue-violet magic burst around her, leaving nothing behind but a sigh and a tear.

In her old room, Nightmare was looking at the simplicity of it. The twin violet bed. The planets in their order. She could recall the names. Omega, Turura, Setsasuna, Animalia, Qinchen, and lastly Vrintsion. She clopped over to her bed, wiping the dust off with magic, then lay on it, crying a bit then finally to sleep.

Celestia gazed at Luna and they teleported to their rooms, Celestia sleeping in her bright pastel bed.

Luna walked out of her room and onto her balcony. She watched the skies all night and always had her vigilant gaze fixated on the constellation she favored: Love.
