Legend tells of a deep, ravaged valley, tucked between the borders of Equestria and Griffon Territory. Legendary bounty hunters and slave traders duck down in this valley, where anypony who enters never comes back out. Some say the reason is because of death, while others believe the wanderers have succumbed to the prospecting and dangerous warfare that lies within. Some say that even the Princesses themselves bear no knowledge of its existence.

But everypony knows of its appropiate name: The Badlands.

This tale has been told through centuries, and many paranoid ponies believe it. Nimble Bolt is a pony who knows it as just a fairy tale to frighten certain individuals of all ages. But one night of heartbreaks, injuries, and one helluva barfight leads him, his Unicorn friend Ara, and a certain cyan Pegasus into this fairy-tale of a land, where they must work together…. and make The Great Escape from the hellish Badlands themselves.
