The Unlikely Hero

                                                                                     Chapter 3:

                                                                       The start of something big

            You would think falling into a void would be awesome right, WRONG. I thought it looked fun on games and stuff, but its not. So falling through the void for god knows how long, I finally hit ground. "Ouch, why do I always land on my butt." I get up, dust myself off and look around. The first thing I notice was a brown....thing looking right at me. This thing was pretty small, it had two sharp teeth at the bottom of its mouth. As a vet. gamer I knew right away what it was, it was a goomba.

            "What the fu....AAAAHHHH." Now I think you would laugh, but I'm going to tell you anyway, that goomba came up to me and bit my foot. Then it must have thought it funny to chase, that's right chase me around. 'What is wrong with me, I'm being chased by a GOOMBA, a flipping goomba, oh how the mighty have fallen.' I finally see my way out of this mess, as I get closer I see that it is a.....green pipe?

            Not wanting the be goomba food I jump down the pipe. That pipe felt like it went on forever, but it was only a secant or two and I was flying out of that pipe. 'Man what is it with me and flying out of holes today' I get up off the ground, dust myself off(deja vu). I see something out of the corner of my eye, I turn to look and what do I see? The Mushroom Kingdom Castle is all. Wait, THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM CASTLE? Now I really flipped my sugar honey ice tea then.

         Ok, so I'm in the Mushroom Kingdom, a goomba was chasing me (now that I think about it I could've just jumped on him, man am I stupid, or what) and now.....wait were are the girls. 'Did I come here by myself?' So, what do I do now? "Well you could go look for them."

         "Who the heck are you?" I ask to the guy who appeared out of no were.

         "I'm you, can't you tell?" he says. Now that he mentions it he is me, if I was an angle. Really, halo and all. haha...halo.

          "Come on, don't lesion to him he's a goody two shoes." and there's the demon, you know horns and all that.

          "Ok, so an angle and a demon who both look like me are now talking to me. Can today get any...." as if on cue the rain starts. "That's it I'm done, I'm going to go ask if they have room at the castle, You two can stay out here for all I care and catch cold." I start walking to the castle as they are fighting.

          Half way to the castle I can hear that they now know I'm gone, because the demon yells, "What the f***, where did he go!" I turn my head to stare at him.(I would never say that, but he is my dark side:/) At that moment I was wishing death upon him.

          I finally make it to the castle, as I go in I hear a evil and familiar laugh. "Bwahaha, there is no one home, now go." I think back to my childhood and when I first played 'Super Mario 64'.

          "Bowser." was all I could say at the time, but my mind was going a mile a minute. 'What the heck? Is Mario here? Is this super Mario 64? What happened to the angle and demon?' I was mind screwed at the moment.(But, what did happen to them.....I don't know, what happens in the past stays in the past.)

           As I walk in to the hallway I see....a toad, I hate toads and I'm not talking about the frog. "Oh, please help us kind sir, Mario and the princess have been captured by Bowser." he says with those big eyes. Man am I a sucker or what.

          "Ok, I'll help you, where are they." Not that I didn't what to anyway. I was not going to pass up a chance to explore this castle. Not by a long shot. He then pointed to a door with a big star on it. As I make my way to the door with Harrison Ford on it(what....I said it had a big star on it?:]) it slides open. I slowly walk in, the first thing I notes is the long red hallway. At the end I could see a panting, I think. The closer I get the more I could see. The panting was of a beautiful women, but it was to dark to see it that good, so I get closer to see. Then, the panting becomes a ugly monster and I fall though the floor.

         I land on a blue like stone. As I get up I hear that voice again, " You fell right into my trap, come and face me, if you dare, bwahahah." Now, I am going to face him just to shut him up. As I start on the path in front of me a line of fire shots out of a block to my left. I was right in the path of the fire and boy did I get burned.

         "Is something burning?" I ask only to look down and see my butt is on fire. "OW,OW,OW my butt's on fire!" in extreme pain I run around in a circle hopping to put out the fire. Now one brunt butt later I on my way to what I think is a ummm........ok I don't know what it is, but to me it looks a farriers wheel.

         After getting passed that I come up to a slope. Half way up I almost get burnt again, but I learn from my mistakes. Now another farriers wheel later, I was slowly crossing over a rope bridge. At the end of this rope bridge was three goombas.

         After stomping on there heads, I run up a path with all kinds of crystals all over. 'I think Rarity would like it here.' As I continue on the path I see a floating.....head. As I continue to look at it I fail to see it is getting closer. I go to touch it, it gives me a good zap and I mean ZAP.

         "I am out of here." I make a man dash for the end of this nightmare. I step on a big ! switch and stares appear out of no were. At the top I turn to see the stares go back to no were.

          "Finally, I'm at the top now to stop Bowser." I say in a heroic voice. A sign and green pipe.

            "So you think you can stop me Mario well come and try." the sign said. So Mario hasn't been here yet. I jump down the green pipe as I'm falling I see a platform. Doing a flip I land on it doing a pose like Mario when he finishes a backflip. Looking forward I see HIM.....and Peach and Mario and.....TWILIGHT?

            "So you are the one he was talking about." Bowser says in what I think is a voice.

            "Whats it to you?" I say not knowing what to say.

             "This will be to easy."

             "Don't under estimate me you over grown lizard."

             "Grrrraaaahhhh, I'm going to make you regret that." he says as he charges at me I do a Mario high jump over his head.

             "Listen to me you have a-to grab a-him by the tail." OH MY GOD Mario is talking to me. I could die from happiness. "LOOK OUT!" he yells. I turn around to see Bowser about to claw my head off. Listening to my hero I go for the tail.

              When I grab his tail he falls flat on his belly. "What do I do now!?" I ask because Bowser is heavy.

               "Spin him." is all Mario had to say.

               "Are you CRAZY look at the size of that thing!" Twilight yells to Mario pointing a hoof at me. Mario looks to me now seeing how weak I am.

              "All he has to do is believe in himself, you have to believe in him." Mario says as the wise old soul he is. Twilight looks to me taking in all of what Mario said.

              Thinking long and hard she finally say, "I do....I DO BELIEVE, RONNIE I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!" "I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!" Twilight yells. Then her element starts to glow and I fill more stronger.

               I now begin to spin Bowser in place, slow at first, but I get faster. "What do I do now!?" I say as I am spinning,

               "Through him at a-those spiked balls." Mario answers me.

               Not seeing them before, I spin faster and faster. I line up the through and with a "So long-a Bowser" he goes flying at one of the balls. As he hits it, it blows up in his face. He comes flying back and lands on his back.

               "You....are...good....at...this, Mario....you..and..I...have...unfinished....business." he fades away and so does Peach. Twilight and Mario are now free.

                "Thank you Ronnie, for saving me" Twilight says. I nod and look to Mario.

                "So, you and him have unfinished business?" he nods.

                "And you have-a fond the magic of friendship, believe me it will not let you down." I did not know what he was talking about at the time, but looking back now I understand. Then out of no were that portal opens up again. I turn to say something to Twilight and I see her element is still glowing.

                 "Twilight did the element do that?" I ask. I then notice that she is thinking and I can't help but wonder what she is thinking about. I will have to ask her later. "TWILIGHT!" I yell.

                 "WHAT, what do you want!?" she yells at me a little ticked off, of what derailing her train of thought.

                 "I think its time for us to go, good by Mario it was fun." I say as I walk to the portal, Twilight following. "You know what Twilight?" I ask as I turn to look at her.

                 "No, what?" she asks.

                 "I think that this is the start of something big." I say as we jump into the portal to a new world.
