To Love a Goddess

I walked down the hallway of my school, barely able to contain my excitement. It was friday, that meant a whole weekend spent watching Mlp. To be honest, it was the only thing in the world that made me happy. See,  at my school, im an outcast, nobody likes me and im avoided at all times.

It's been like that ever since I was young. My parents even regretted giving birth to me, but oh well. You can't always have a perfect life right?

When I got home, I tossed my things onto my bed as I went and hopped onto the computer and I began browsing through youtube. There was supposed to be a new episode today. Finally after a few minutes of searching I found it. I clicked play, sat back and enjoyed.

"SPIKE!!!" Twilight yelled.

"Yeah?" He said running in. He knew that when Twi called him like that, it meant she needed help finding a book.

"Wheres that book on long distance teleporting?" she asked, obviously flustered.

Spike walked right over to the bookshelf near the front door and pulled out a dark blue book. "Here you go Twi." he said, handing her the book.

"Thanks so much Spike, I dont know what I'd do without you."

"Aw it's nothin Twi." he replied. If there was one thing he enjoyed, it was being Twilights Number One Assistant.

Twilight opened the book and began reading through. She didn't understand why the Princess wanted her to figure out how to teleport something from another dimension, and just as she thought, she wasn't able to find anything in the book about it. It had never been done before, but if the Princess believed she could do it, then she would do her best.

She went over to the shelf and started pulling other teleportation books. As she browsed through she found exactly what she was looking for. There was a spell for looking in on another dimension.

Maybe, just maybe, if she could modify it, it just might allow her to teleport something from said dimension. She read the spell and began channeling her magic and cast the spell, modifying it in the proccess.

I couldn't stop laughing as Spike tried to gain control over the pets. To busy laughing I didn't realize that I was now floating. Looking around I began to panic.

Please lord, don't let me die like this! I silently pleaded.

The next thing I knew, I was lying on a grassy hill. Looking up at a strangely cartoony sky.

Where the hell am I?

I tried to sit up and realized, I couldn't move, I felt like i had a 300 pound weight on me. No matter what I did, I could not get up. Suddenly, right into my sight, flew something I knew all too well.

Rainbow Dash.

I fainted.

Twilight looked down at the creature who was passed out on her floor. It certainly was a strange specimen, It two long hooves and it's forehooves were split apart into fingers, much like Spike's claws.

"Where exactly did you find it?" she asked Rainbow, who was hovering behind her, staring causiously at what was lying on the floor.

"Up on the hill behind Sweet Apple Acres. It appeared as if it was teleported, like that flash thing that happens when you teleport." Dash replied.

"Good, that means the spell worked. Although, which dimension it's from, I'm not too sure, I'll have to ask Princess Celestia about it."

"Ughhhh..."

"Oh, it's waking up!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Oh man, what happened?" It asked.

"Wait, you can talk?" Twilight replied.

"Of course I can talk, who..?" It asked as it laid it's eyes on her.

"Y-you! Your Twilight Sparkle!! And Oh my god, your Rainbow Dash!" It said happily.

"Hold on a second, you know who we are?"

"Of course, where I'm from, Theres and entire show about you and your friends. It's one of my favorite shows." It replied.

"So, who are you?" Twilight asked.

"I'm Jason, Jason Grey, nice to meet you!" He said, getting up. Twilight could tell not only by his name, but by his voice, he was a male.

"Nice to meet you Jason, so how much do you know?" she asked.

After I finished getting over my shock of where I was, and I finished explaining what I knew, I looked to see that Twilight was quite surprised, and Rainbows mouth was hanging open.

"Wow, you really like this show about us huh?" Rainbow asked.

"Oh yeah, I personally think it's the greatest show ever in the history of anything." I replied. It was true, that show made me happier than ever. But now, I had a whole other reason to be happy.

"So when do I get to meet the others?" I asked. I was only too eager to meet them, especially Pinkie Pie, I'd always wanted a Pinkie Pie Party.

"I guess we could introduce you now, but you may wanna wait to meet Fluttershy, she's a bit, well, shy." Twilight explained.

I nodded as she led me out the door Into the streets of Ponyville.

This day could not get any better!

We walked for a bit before we came into view of the Carousel Boutique. Home of Rarity, Element of Generosity. We walked up to the door and Twilight firmly tapped her hoof against the door, resulting in a quick sing-song reply.

"Just a minute!"

The door opened and there, standing before me, was Rarity. I couldn't believe it.

"Oh, hello darling, what can I...Eep!" she said, as she noticed me standing there. She obviously was quite frightened.

"Hello, I'm sorry if I freak you out." I said as I bowed. If there was one thing I knew, it was that she loves a gentleman, gentlecolt? Anyway, I straightened back up to find her speaking quietly under her breath.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you, and actually I'm not frightened at all, unless you count the fact that I am apalled by the clothing you are wearing. It's simply atrocious!" she said, in a mock faint. I almost forgot how dramatic she is in the show.

"Hey, whats wrong with Jeans and a T-shirt?" I asked.

"Oh darling, Nopony wears those anymore. How about this, I shall make you some new clothing." she said smiling at the chance to design something completely new.

"Um, ok." I replied.

I figured since Twi and Dash were the only ones who knew about me and how much I knew, I decided to play it safe.

"It's was nice meeting you miss?"

"Rarity, designer and fashionista of Ponyville. And you are?"

"Um, Jason Grey, and I dont really do anything." I laughed.

"Well it certainly has been a pleasure meeting you Jason, Now if you'll excuse me, I should get started right away." she said closing the door.

"Well, that went better than I expected." Twilight said as she led me down the road.

"Yeah, I thought for sure she'd freak out." Rainbow laughed.

"So who's next?" I asked.

"Applejack."

Sweet, I couldn't wait. I'd always wondered if Sweet Apple Acre apples, were really as good as they made them out to be in the show.

When we reached the orchard, I couldn't believe it. It was much larger than it was in the show. Much, much larger.

"Well howdy there Twi, Rainbow. Aaand who might you be?" Applejack asked, as she trotted up to the three of us.

"Hey AJ, this is Jason, he's new to Ponyville." Twilight explained. I swore I could hear Rainbow mutter something along the lines of "New to Equestria more like."

"Well Howdy Jason, nice ta meet ya." She said, as she put out her hoof. I reached out and shook.

"Whoah, ya got fingers? You part dragon or somethin?" She asked.

"No, It's just the way I was born." I replied.

"Well, can't help that. I gotta get back to work, It was nice meetin ya Jason, See ya Twi, See ya Rainbow." She said as she headed off to the orchard and began bucking away at the trees.

"Wow, you guys are even more awesome than in the show." I said smiling happily. I still couldn't wait to meet Pinkie.

We left Sweet Apple Acres and headed down another dirt path leading to a bright pinke building, which I realized was Sugarcube Corner. I felt myself get pumped, adrenaline going through my veins. I knew she most likely already knew i was here and was probably going to jump out and yell surprise and scare the daylights out of me.

We entered the shop and sure enough I was tackled by a speeding pink blut by the name of Pinkie pie.

"Hi! Your new, I know it because I haven't seen you around here before, and I know everypony in Ponyville, so I would have known if I had seen you before and Oh, we should have a big welcome to Ponyville party! It'll be so much fun, there'll be cake, and drinks and games and..." she said before Dash placed a hoof over her mouth.

"Pinkie, slow down, you might overwelm him."

"Well, hello Pinkie, and before Dash can ruin it, I'd love a party!" I said enthusiastically. This was what I had been waiting all day for.

Pinkie gasped really really loudly before speaking again.

"Yay! Party time, I'm gonna get started, be here at 7:00! Bye!" she said as she dashed off to the kitchen.

"Wow Jason, I didn't know you wanted a party so badly, Haha." Rainbow said, as she chuckled.

She had no Idea.

When we were finished up at Sugarcube Corner, we started to head back to the Library, but as fate would have it, we ran right into Fluttershy, who upon noticing me loudly Eeped, and hit the ground, hiding behind her mane. I felt terrible, If anypony in the brony community had seen that I had just scared Fluttershy, I'm sure they would kill me.

"Hey Flutters, It's okay, he's not gonna hurt you. He's safe." Rainbow said, trying to get her to stand back up.

"Hi, I'm Jason, I take it your Fluttershy?" I asked, knowing full well who she was. I didn't want to freak her out more.

"H-hi. N-nice to m-meet y-you." she said quietly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that." I replied.

"N-nice to m-meet y-you t-too." She said, still as shy as can be. To be honest, I found it rather cute.

"Well, I've got to go send a letter to the Princess about this, See you later Fluttershy, bye Dash." Twilight said, as she trotted away.

I smiled and waved as she left.

It was official, I was completely blissed out. This, this was a dream come true. And, I was gonna make the best of this no matter what. I mean honestly, what brony wouldn't?

I walked with Dash, as she led me to the Library. Then it hit me. I'm gonna have to talk to Princess Celestia. I felt like my heart was going to stop. Celestia was my favorite out of all the ponies in the show. And I might get to meet her? I could die happy now.

Scratch that, I don't want to die yet. Not now.

We entered the library to find, not only Twilight, but Princess Celestia.

I fainted for the second time that day.
