To Love a Goddess

I stared, and stared. I couldn't believe Celestia was standing right there, in front of me, a wide smile on her face. I could tell, she expected me to say something, but the words just wouldn't come out. I was literally at a loss for words.

"Jason, I'd like you to meet Princess Cel-" she said before I cut her off.

"Celestia, It's an honor."

Just looking at her, made my heart beat faster.

"I should say the same, seeing as you have come from a world were magic no longer exists. What your kind has accomplished in that time, it's quite surprising."  she said with a voice that was surprisingly musical. It wasn't like that in the show?

"H-how do you know about where I'm from?" I asked.

"Believe it or not, I have a mirror that allows me to look into your world, I actually used it once before as a gift from one mare to her marefriend. The point is, I have tried without success to bring a human here, so I charged Twilight with the task, and she performed wonderfully." Celestia replied.

Once again, I was in shock. Did that mean she had been watching me?

"So why did you want to bring a human here?" I asked.

"I want to study you. See what makes your kind so able to live without magic, so I have come to take you to Canterlot."

"Wait, you mean I get to stay in the Canterlot Castle?!?!" I replied. I could not have been more happy right then.

She held out her hoof, which I happily grabbed. it was soft. Suddenly, I gelt the same feeling as before as we were teleported to the castle. When we landed there, It took me a minute to regain my bearing. Teleporting apparently doesnt agree with me.

"I will have one of my guards show you to your room." she said as she trotted up to a guard whom I hadn't realized had been standing there. She spoke to him and he trotted over to me.

"Follow me."

I followed him to my room, which I realized was right next to Celestia's. I guess she wanted to have me closer for study.

I went to bed as soon as possible, after what I've been through today, I felt I deserved a good rest.

Celestia sat in Jason's room as she watched him sleep, she knew this could be seen as wrong or perverted, but she had said she wanted to study him, that meant sleeping habits as well.

As she watched him sleep, she heard him muttering.

Hmmm, it seems he's dreaming. About what though, I'm curious.

Celestia knew that Luna wasn't the only one who knew how to look into others dreams. She cast the spell as she was placed withing the dream. She knew from experience that when she was in anothers dreams, they would be unable to see her, but what she saw made her blush.

Jason was standing there, kissing her, or at least the dream version of her.

They broke the kiss and Jason spoke.

"Celestia, I should have told you before, but I was afraid to say it, but, I love you." he said as he stared deeply into her eyes. The real Celestia could hear the sincerity in his voice. This human loved her? She knew that in their world, they watched a show about them. A show that came about because she herself had put the idea into the mind of a human by the name of Lauren Faust.

Before she could think any more on it, her dream self replied.

"I'm flattered that you have such strong feelings for me, I havent had a lover in over a millenia. Im happy to call you mine. She said as she brought him in for another kiss.

Seeing herself kiss him like that made her blush again. It was true though, She hadn't had a lover in a very long time. For some reason, seeing that Jason has such strong feelings for her, it made her realize exactly how lonely she really was.

Ok time for me to go. she thought as she left his dream. When she returned, it was almost time for her to raise the sun. She left his room and headed to the balcony.

When Jason awoke, he felt well rested, and a little off. The dream he had, had been quite the dream. It made him realize just how he felt about the Princess.

Well, no use in keeping it a secret. he thought as he left the room to find and tell the Princess about his feelings.
