Chapter 2: The date~Part 1...

From the shrub Vanyl watched Soaring buying Octavia flowers, feeding her chocolates,being romantic..etc...

Octavia and him seemed to hit it off. Vanyl had never seen Octavia so happy in maybe for as long as she's known her.

Vanyl would do anything to keep that smile on her face no matter the challenge! Because that's what friends are for....

Octavia and Soaring walked away Soaring tried being romantic by holding her tail with his, but Octavia rejected at first until he finally caught her tail. At first Octavia tried escaping his grip, but then she began enjoying it.

The two Loveydobey Couple walked in to Ponyville Soaring holding Octavia's tail in his.

Vinyl couldn't help, but smiled. Even though she wasn't the one with a new colt friend or a new filly friend she felt happy for Tavi.

From the bush she hid in she could tell she wasn't well hidden because many pony folk walked by her hiding spot looking down at Vinyl oddly. "Maybe I should go find a better hiding spot." Suggested Vinyl before walking away...

At Octavia's date.....

Soaring brought Octavia to a fancy restaurant and offered to pay for both their meals kindly.

"I could not let you pay alone!" Said Octavia. "The prices of each of our meals is almost 250 bits. Just let me help."

"No. It's fine Octavia. It's my treat to you. It is Hearts and Hooves day after all." Replied Soaring respectfully.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

Soaring simply nodded. "Thank you Soaring." Said Tavi.

Soaring left the exact amount of bits that their meal had cost and even a 20 bit tip.

"You're welcome. Mah lady!"

Octavia giggled at Soaring's silliness and the two left the restaurant together.

At Vinyl....

Vinyl had finally caught sight of her best friend and her date. She saw them leaving the restaurant together.

"Everything is going as planed. He better not let her pay one bit!"

From a distance Octavia and Soaring took a short walk to the Boutique also known as the Carousel Boutique.

Octavia entered the beautiful building amazed by the line of fashion that was exposed to her as entering the boutique..

"Welcome to Carousel Boutique! My name is Rarity."

"Hello." Replied Octavia with a shy smile.

Soaring lead Octavia to a line a dresses and made her try on everyone of them just to his amusement.

Once Octavia had took off the tenth dress she had modeled for Soaring she was about done.

Soaring brought Octavia one last dress to try on.

"No Soaring!" She said. "I've already tried on ten!"

"Please." Begged Soaring kissing her on her check. "For me."

"Fine!" She blubbered and took the dress from his hooves.

She came out wearing a beautiful black dress that seemed made for her!

The fabric had music note prints all over and a bow! Octavia loved the dress a lot Soaring could tell by the look on Octavia's face. She ran to a mirror to see herself she sighed disappointed by her own features. Soaring noticed. "Hey what's wrong?"

"This dress it's beautiful! But I'm not as beautiful." She said sadly.

Soaring was mad to hear Octavia say this. "Hey! You're beautiful not only on the inside, but the outside as well!"

"Really?"

"Yes."

Octavia looked even closer in to the mirror and standing beside her was Soaring.

He smiled kindly to her and she smiled back. Octavia went back to the fitting room and changed.

Soaring took the dress from her and payed for it.

"Thank you." She said happily taking the bag.

"Come again!" Replied Rarity from behind the counter.
