she saw the question in the filly's eyes, the filly she had foal sat when she was younger and realised she had to tell her "yes dinky..."frowned pinkamena "to the rock farm I grew up on"

"wait ,pinkie I cant take you THAT far! beside I'm a MAIL MARE not a taxi service I don't understand why you would ask me!"

"because I know you wont tell ANYPONY, and NOPONY can no , do you understand?!" said pinkamena.

Derpy sighed and looked at the ground "alright , where is this farm?"

Pinkamena smiled "near fillydelphia, on the rode up there is a little house that's it"

they flew threw the night as Derpy had to be back in ponyville  by the next morning so nopony would know what was up or that it was her who took Pinkamena to the farm.

"why could you have not took the train" questioned Derpy.

"Because people would see me walking through town and remember I know EVERYPONY in ponyville so if anyone on the train spotted me leaving..." Pinkamena's eyes again filled whit tears but she could not let dinky and derpy see her, so she had to wipe her eyes and sit up.

"pinkie,I understand I had to run away from my home in canterlot" said Derpy  as If this was an everyday thing.

"what?, canterlot!" pinkamena was shocked she had never really taken notice of Derpy's problems but even so she did not expect anything like this!

"yep. I was as you can understand I was the ditzy one. my sisters, all 3 of them, where very academic one got her cutiemarks in maths, another in writing, and the other in magic. so you can imagine when mine popped up they where not impressed" giggled Derpy with a little lean to the side.

"wait...magic but Derpy your a pegasus pony..."  Pinkamena said confused.

"yes But my sisters are not. I am  the only pegasus sister my mother was a unicorn and my father was a pegasus that is why Dinky is a unicorn" Dinky was asleep now slumped over her mother flank "she is why I had to run away when I found out I was pregnant whit my little muffin" said Derpy a tear in her eye.

"ummm...Derpy...do you not mind me asking....about..."Pinkamena started.

"the father?" Derpy finished. Pinkamena nodded.

"okay pinkie its your turn not to tell ANYPONY! I was...Ra-attacked...when I was young and my parents would not believe me so when I found out I was pregnant I had to move as fast as I could" Derpy landed on the floor, she needed a break.

she sat and cried , Pinkamena put her hoof round her neck and derpy pulled her into a tearful hug.

"why are you crying mummy?" Dinky yawed.

"I just tripped and hurt myself that's all, muffin" she scooped up her daughter into a big hug.

"well as long as your ok now mummy" dinky smiled.

they had to pick up their pace after that almost rushing but soon the farm was in site and derpy swooped down to land a second time. Pinkamena thanked Derpy and gave her a few bits for her trouble and waved to her and her purple filly.

she walked slowly up the path to the door of her old home where she spent so many years  what was she doing? how could she do it? would her family think she had abandoned then all those years ago? she was scared, worried she had so many emotions as well as excitement and nostalgia so she took a deep breath and knocked on the door.  and it was opened by a petite gray mare.

"pinkamena? is that you? OH MY CELESTIA! MUM DAD COME QUICK ITS PINKAMENA!" cried Blinky.

Pinkamena stood there stunned they seemed happy after all she had done, running away, staying in her room for days at a time, disappointing and worrying  them! whay where they pleased? why was she forgiven?
