Equestrian Spartan

Mad Stallions shoot at the Hover Hoof to kill the crazed trooper. An officer says on the radio, “Be careful, that is our only Hover Hoof.”  A soldier behind an apple cart says, “How do you expect us to kill him without damaging the ship.” A smooth voice says, “I’ll get him.”

A sniper in an apple tree lines up his shot to the target and quickly notices certain details on the target. The sniper says on the radio, “Sir, I don’t think…” The officer says, “Don’t think… fire!”  The sniper says, “Ok, discovery in death.” He takes the shot. The bullet breaks Unit 1’s helmet.

Unit 1 gets back into cover and removes his face plate. Unit 1 says as he removes his mask, “So much for keeping bullets off my face.” He throws a grenade and it explodes and makes a dust cloud. Unit 1 moves out of the Hover Hoof and finds new cover. Red energy comes out of nearby dead bodies and goes into Unit 1 and his eyes start glowing red. Unit 1 thinks the red glow is a flare thrown into the cloud to make him an easier target and quickly gets behind a cart. The Mad Stallions quickly realize that the one they are shooting at isn’t one of their guys. Some Mad Stallions were stunned by fear, while others fired blindly at Unit 1 with the fear of not knowing of what it is and if their weapons were working on the creature.

As Unit 1 fires his LMG at the Mad Stallions, he notices that they are afraid of him and starts to scream like a madman, “All of you will die today!” A few of the Mad Stallions retreat at the sound of his foreign, yet threading voice. Unit 1 spots the radio station and starts cover jumping to it.

One of the Mad Stallions says on the radio, “The demon is heading towards the radio station.” A tough voice says, “We’ll get him and smash him.” A couple of big Mad Stallions with two handed…I mean hoofed blades and hammers start charging at Unit 1. Unit 1 kills one of them but gets hit by another one.

Unit 1 makes a run for the radio station and hip fires his gun at the Mad Stallions. He wastes the last of his LMG’s ammo killing a few of the massive muscled troops. Unit 1 makes it into the radio station, but before he could call for backup (or at least a care package full of weapons and ammo), he hears thunder and lighting and suddenly the radio dies. Unit 1 says, “Oh come on.”

MS troops (including the big ones) charge at Unit 1 and he reacts by pulling out his knife and counter-attacking the horses. The fight lasted for almost for 15 minutes, with waves of Mad Stallions coming at the Spartan. He beat off the attackers with his superior skills in combat, superhuman strength and toughness, but his knife gets broken in the process. Remaining Mad Stallions flee into the apple field. More of the mysterious red energy goes into Unit 1 during the fight. Unit 1 is left with his magnum and grenades. He face palms himself for not using them a few minutes ago.

As Unit 1 runs out of the radio station to pursue the fleeing soldiers, a lightning bolt almost hits him. He jumps to a nearby tree and looks up. The sky is full of dark clouds with lights only from lighting forming in the sky. As lighting tries to strike him, Unit 1 notices shadows within the glow… most of them have wings and the one without wings looks like he or she is whipping them. Unit 1 rushes to a hill to get a shot at the slave master.

When Unit 1 gets on top of the hill to make the shot, the clouds gather up above the hill and they start hailing alongside rapid fire lighting. He fires a blind shot and some of the pegasi scatter within the collections of cloud. The slave master tries to get back in control of the pegasi. Unit 1 aims his magnum at the slave master and fires two shots; the first shot barely misses and the second shot goes through the helmet and slave master’s hover pack flies uncontrollably to the ground.  The pegasi flee in random directions to find safety from the battle.

Unit 1 looks around to find himself surrounded by the Mad Stallions; most of them are scarier looking than the normal ones and are carrying some form of electric whip.

The noise of roaring engines fills the air; the Mad Stallions are surprised on how fast they got here. Unit 1 knows the real owner of the roar and waits to see what happens.

Unit 1 goes to prone and some of the Mad Stallions laugh at him. As they go up to get the Spartan, a few squadrons of Pelicans fly over the orchard and start attacking the camp. Remaining Mad Stallions try to fight but they can only do so much with their current numbers. Unit 1 uses the attack as an opportunity to escape the ambush and to find a weapon. He dodges bullet and missile fire to find a place to plan or to find a weapon.

Suddenly, something taps Unit 1 on his face and then it lands in his hand. It was an apple. Unit 1 looks up and sees some of ‘the harvesters’ fighting the Mad Stallions. As Unit 1 is about to join into the fight, a buffalo tackles him. Unit 1 slides in the dirt as he holds on to the buffalo then, he quickly pushes the buffalo off. Unit 1 tries to fight a Mad Stallion but he gets intercepted by a pony worker’s kick. Unit 1 realizes that the workers think he’s one of the Mad Stallions and without his earpiece to talk with them; he is forced to defend himself by blocking the workers’ attacks and pushing them out of his way.

After a couple of minutes of combat, Unit 1 tries to land a punch on a Mad Stallion (or at least get away from the rioting workers) and he soon finds himself in the middle of a big group of angry workers. Unit 1 takes a deep breath as he prepares himself to willingly hurt the workers.

Suddenly, one of the Pelicans lands near by the mob and a bunch of UNSC ponies come out of it, including Applejack. The pony workers flock to Applejack and cheer with joy. The pony workers turn out to be the members of Apple family and Applejack is overjoyed to see them. They get into a big group hug.

Unit 1 looks over at the UNSC ponies and yells out, “A little help!”  Applejack sees Unit 1 and says, “Unit 1, how did ya get here?” Unit 1 says, “Can you call off the battering rams, first?” Applejack says to Unit 1, “Ok…” she says to the buffalo, “Can you let him go, he’s with me.” The workers look at Applejack confused. The buffalos surrounding Unit 1 back up a few steps and Unit 1 walks to Applejack. Unit 1 picks up weapons as he walks to Applejack which makes the workers more nervous about trusting him.

When Unit 1 gets to Applejack, he asks her, “What was your question AJ…it is AJ right?” Applejack says, “That’s my nickname… I asked ya how ya got here from the Crystal Empire.” Unit 1 says, “I thought I was in Canterlot the last time I saw you… I don’t know what words I can use to apologize for losing Canterlot.” Applejack says, “Losin’ Canterlot? Those Mad Stallions were gone before we got out of the tunnels. You must have really kicked their flanks.” The crowd was surprised with what Applejack had to say and look at Unit 1 with amazement. Unit 1 says, “I must have done more damage to them then I thought. Let’s catch up later, we must go back to Canterlot base to get these civilians safe and plan out our next move. Canterlot has a base, right? ” Applejack says, “Yes but Crazy D…”

The heavy armored Mad Stallion gets on top of a hill. He whistles at the group of workers to let them know he has Apple Bloom hostage with a pistol pointed at her head. He demands the workers to surrender or he will shoot Apple Bloom. The crowd does nothing because they don’t want to risk the young filly’s life.

As the Mad Stallion was talking, Unit 1 falls to his knees and equips his ‘new’ sniper rifle. Applejack asks, “What are doing?” Unit 1 whispers, “I’m saving the hostage.” Unit 1 lines up his shot to the Mad Stallion and asks, “Did he say his rank.” Applejack asks, “Why do you…” Unit 1 interrupts, “Just answer the question.” Applejack says, “Does Warden count?”

Unit 1 is about to take the shot but something dark tan blocks the scope’s sight. He lowers his rifle to see what’s blocking the shot. Unit 1 sees a little angry dark tan pony. Unit 1 softly says as he moves the pony, “Get out of way, kid.” Unit 1 looks through his scope and sees the pony blocking it again.  The pony says, “I wouldn’t let you hurt Apple Bloom.” Applejack asks with concern to the pony, “Can you repeat, Babs?” Babs says, “That colt got Apple Bloom.” Unit 1 struggles to move Babs out of the way.

Applejack looks at the Mad Stallion with her new binoculars and sees him holding Apple Bloom and worries about her little sister. Applejack gets an uneasy idea and pulls out her Mangum. Unit 1 sees Applejack pulling out the Magnum and uses one of his hands to push down her weapon. He whispers to Applejack, “This scenario requires a sniper not a rookie.” Applejack says, “I got to save my sister.” Babs asks Applejack, “Well, what’s stopping you.” She notices that Unit 1’s hand on Applejack’s weapon and tries getting his hand off of her weapon but Unit 1 holds Babs back with his sniper rifle.

Applejack frees her pistol free from Unit 1’s grip and aims it at Mad Stallion. Unit 1 says, “Don’t do it, you’ll get your sister killed by your or his bullet.” Babs says, “What are you waiting for? Save Apple Bloom.”

Nearby family members try to inspire Applejack to take the shot. Unit 1 sees that the Mad Stallion is turning his head towards Applejack so he slaps her Magnum out of her hoof and quickly fakes being wounded. Some of the Apples and the buffalos look at him with confusion. The Mad Stallion slimes with convince and continues his threats and demands

Applejack asks in angry, “What did ya do that for?” Unit 1 says through his teeth, “I bought your sister more time to be rescued unless you wanted her to die by a reaction shot. So do want to take the shot and risk killing you sister again?” Applejack looks at Apple Bloom, takes a deep breath, and says, “Alrightly, go ahead and save Apple Bloom…” She continues intensely. “Don’t miss.”

As Unit 1 gets ready to make the shot, the Apples try to stop him but Applejack puts her hooves in front of them and says, “Let him do it.” Babs says, “What got…”

Unit 1 shoots one of the Warden’s front legs off and the pistol flew in the air and shoots Apple Bloom’s bow in half. She screams at the top of lungs. The Warden lets go of Apple Bloom to cover his wound. 3 UNSC ponies come up behind and arrest the Warden. They escort the Warden and Apple Bloom back to Pelicans.

Meanwhile back with Unit 1, the Apples are mad and surround him because they think he killed Apple Bloom and the buffalos wait around to see what’s going to happen. Applejack says with angry to Unit 1, “Ya killed Apple bloom!” As Unit 1 gets ready to defend himself, he sees a group walking down the hill. He says to Applejack, “If I killed you sister, then who’s that?” He points the group. Applejack turns her head to see Apple Bloom and says in surprise, “Apple Bloom?” Apple Bloom says, “Applejack?” Applejack runs up to Apple Bloom and hugs her. Soon the whole family joins in. Unit 1 says under his breath, “You’re welcome.”

As Unit 1 walks to the Pelicans, the buffalo give him looks of respect and say some things that he couldn’t understand. Babs Seed goes up to Unit 1 and taps him on the leg. Unit 1 looks down and asks her, “What do want?” Babs pulls out an apple and says, “I just wanted to give you this for doubting you, Mr.” Unit 1 takes the apple rips in half and inspects it. After seeing it is a good apple, Unit 1 takes a bite out of one of the halves and says to Babs, “It’s a start, kid.”

As Unit 1 gets in a Pelican, Applejack shows Apple Bloom her savior. Applejack says, “That’s him, Apple Bloom.” Apple Bloom goes up to Unit 1, hugs him, and says, Thank you for savin’ me.” Unit 1 wanted hug back but held back which results in him patting her on the head. He says to Applejack, “Can you get me an earpiece? I need to talk Crazy D. Oh… and get the prisoners in the Pelican so we can get out here.” Applejack says, “Don’t worry; Crazy D will be here with a new base.” Unit 1 says, “Tell him to turn around and the others to hurry up.” Applejack says, “Why do we…” The roar of violent gunfire suddenly fills the air. Unit 1 says, “That’s why. Get everyone you can to Pelicans, now.”

Applejack puts her hoof to her ear; she updates Crazy D and Tia Light and then she gets a worried look on her face. Applejack says, “We don’t have enough Pelicans to hold everypony.” Unit 1 says, “Do you know anything about these buffalo? I know that your family are farmers and farmers can only go so far in this scenario.” Applejack says, “I know the buffalos are a local tribe who once tried to stop the Appleloosans from building this orchard.” Unit 1 says, “Good enough… I’ll need your earpiece.” Applejack gives Unit 1 her earpiece and he says, “Thank you.” Applejack hears a strange language of different accents.

Unit 1 puts on the earpiece and says on the radio, “This is Unit 1 of Spartan Company ‘Devil Dogs’ calling command, I’m requesting to become Battle Commander of mission.” Tia Light says, “This is Tia Light, I approve of your Request … wait a minute, how are you at the Crystal Empire and…” Unit 1 says, “Let’s worry about that when we get out of here.” Tia Light says, “Plan approved, I’ll get the forces in the Crystal Empire to keep the other you until you go there so we can tell the real you from the fake you.” Unit 1 says, “Roger… I guess.”

Unit 1 says on the radio, “This is Battle Commander Unit 1, someone give the current status of this battle.” A UNSC pony says with overconfidence, “More Mad Horse troops but they’re not putting up much of a fight.” Another UNSC pony says, “You’re having it easy because all of them are over here kicking our flanks. They cut us and some prisoners from the Pelicans.” Unit 1 says, “Where are you?” The 2nd UNSC pony says, “We are in a warehouse full of weapons but, they’re still kicking our flanks.” Unit 1 says, “Hold your position reinforcements are coming.” All available troops round up any civilians and meet at the Pelican as soon as possible.” A bunch of UNSC ponies say, “Yes, sir.”

Unit 1 gets off the radio and says to Applejack, “You know how to use your Visor map, right?” She says, “I didn’t get those funny glasses and I wanted to keep my hat but…” Applejack pulls out out an odd looking holo-pad. “But Brick gave me this thing.” Unit 1 looks at the holo-pad with excitement and says, “Could it be?”  He takes it from Applejack and says, “Hey.” Apple Bloom asks, “Why did ya do that?” Unit 1 ignores Apple Bloom as he actives the holo-pad. After the holo-pad turns on, he pulls out the sides for it to reveal a hologram of the entire orchard and the base. Unit 1 gives the holo-pad back Applejack and says to her, “You’re lucky; you got yourself a XZ MR.2” Applejack asks Unit 1 as he goes in the Pelican, “What…?” Unit 1 says as he gets some UNSC equipment, “It’s a Xtra Zight Mr.2; it’s an old, big, and reliable companion. If you want know more about him, I believe he can answers those questions, himself.” The three Apples ask, “Him?” Unit 1 says as he tries out a helmet, “Him or it whatever you prefer.”

A small but strange device comes out of the XZ MR.2 and looks at Applejack. Unit 1 says as he is comparing weapons, “Oh I almost forgot his scanning flash…”  The device flashes and it stings Applejack’s eyes. She screams in pain. Unit 1 continues, “Never mind.” The device goes back into the XZ MR.2 and then, a circle appears with an outline of a cowboy hat on it; 2 white dots appear as it’s eyes.  The circle shows a surprised look on its face, the XZ MR.2 makes an alerting beep and types out, “We are under attack.” Applejack says, “Ya a little late with that news.”  The circle face changes expression to confident look and the XZ MR.2 types out, “Do you know the easier sides to beat, ma’am?” It shows the warehouse with the positions of Mad Stallion attackers and the Equestrian Defenders in high detail. Apple Bloom and Babs say in amazement, “Whoa.”

Unit 1 comes out of the pelican with a UNSC helmet and weapon and says, “Where should I hit them?” Applejack reads the XZ MR.2 and then says, “Mr.2 says ya should get ’em at the South. There are fewer soldiers to fight.”

A group of 4 UNSC ponies come up to Unit 1 and one of them says to Unit 1, “We are ready to go, Commander… um sorry Battle Commander.”  Unit 1 says, “I also accept Sir. I will give you 4 a brief break to reload and take a few deep breaths and maybe enough time to pray.” He turns to Applejack, “I need you to do 2 things for me: Number 1: Keep sending us as much back as you can but leave enough to keep family and the others safe and Number 2: Make sure no one kills the Warden, he’s alive for a reason.”  Applejack says, “Are you…” Unit 1 interrupts, “Just keep an eye on him. You might get the answer to your question.” Unit 1 turns his head and reveals his UNSC bar code on his neck to the XZ MR.2” The holo-pad starts scaning the code.

As the XZ MR.2 uploads Unit 1’s code, Babs Seed and Apple Bloom see something through one of the holes on Unit 1’s back armor and get excited about it. The XZ MR.2 types out” Scan Complete. I can send Unit 1 direct message anytime he is wearing a visor.” Unit 1 pulls out Applejack’s ear piece and says to Applejack, “You’ll need this back. Besides I found one more of my size in…”  Apple Bloom interrupts, “You have a Cutie Mark?!” Unit 1 asks Apple Bloom, “A what….?” Babs Seed says, “You know… the picture of a… a….” Unit 1 says, “Gear. That is my brand mark. We’ll talk about it later.” Applejack gets her ear piece back, puts it on and says, “Thank ya Unit 1. Don’t ya have to…?” Unit 1 says, “I’m going.”

Unit 1 turns to his squad which grew by 3 soldiers and he says to them, “Ready or not, we’re ready to move out.” The soldiers say, “Yes, Battle Commander.” XZ MR.2 gives Unit 1 cornets and the safest yet quickest path to it. Unit 1 leads his squad on path to battle.

Meanwhile back in the Crystal Empire, U1 is on his way to a Pelican and says softly in his ear piece, “I’ll be on my way to Canterlot, soon… with the bomb.”  A voice says, “I’ll tell the general to get the troops ready to get back…”  U1 see a few soldiers coming and says to the radio, “I’ll check in with you, later.”

The Crystal pony soldier asks U1, “Who were you talking to?” U1 says, “A fellow soldier… why?” The soldier says, “Just wondering… because we were told you might be a spy. There is somepony calling himself, Unit 1. Maybe that pony or whatever will get himself killed, we can go back to the Tower instead of you.” An Earth pony soldier says, “Isn’t that a little harsh, dude.” The crystal soldier says, “You didn’t go from an easy guarding job to be conscripted in a war.” The earth guard says, “Yes I have, so shut up and let’s get this job over with.”

U1 asks the guards, “Can I finish my conversion with my friend?” The Crystal pony soldier says, “Make it quick.” U1 turns around and says on the radio, “My trip is delayed but get ready for the surprise.” A voice says, “o.k.” U1 turns around says to the guards, “Now I’m ready.”

Back in the Apple flied base, the warehouse is being attacked on 3 fronts by overwhelming bullet fire and a horde of Mad Stallion troopers with reinforcements racing to their positions. The position turns out to be a rocky area which made great cover but it also made it hard for their reinforcements to come with paths too small for vehicles to fit through. Unit 1 and his squad sneak behind the weaker position and unloading bullets to the enemies’ backs. The Mad Stallions got slaughtered with the lack of cover which quickly results in a few of them (the surviving ones) to retreat to westeren front.

As Unit 1 and his squad go to the warehouse, An UNSC pony says, “I’m wounded.” Unit 1 turns his head and says to him, “Suck it up, it’s only a little cut.” The soldier says, “But its above my eye.” Unit 1 ignores the trooper and says on the radio, “This is the Battle Commander…” Some of the defenders start shooting at them and the squad quickly goes to cover. “We have secured the southern rocky front. Hold your fire. I repeat, we are at the rocks and stop shooting at us!”

The bullets stop and a door opens. A UNSC pony says on the radio, “Sorry Battle Commander, you can’t be too careful. Come in quickly before they come back.” Unit 1 says, “Understood we are coming in.” Unit 1 orders his troops into the warehouse and they quickly rush in.

When Unit 1 looks around to see the warehouse is full of ammo and has a corner of medical supplies. UNSC ponies and most of the older prisoners (teenagers and adults) fighting off the Mad Stallions while the younger prisoners (kids and preteens) were hiding or helping the wounded.

Unit 1 turns to his squad and says to them, “If you need some ammo, a new weapon or a band ad, you can do that now. If you don’t need to or when you’re ready help these guys in the fight off the Mad Stallions.” The squad splits up. Unit 1 says on the radio, “This is the Battle Commander; I want the commanding officer of the warehouse to meet me downstairs, now.”

A black unicorn quickly gallops downstairs and rushes to Unit 1. The unicorn says to him, “Sergeant Black Strike, reporting in, Sir.” Unit 1 says, “I have an idea to get us out of here but it will cost a few casualties.”  Sgt. Black Strike says, “I have a better idea, I need you to take control of the troops while I gather the other unicorns and try teleporting us out of here.” Unit 1 says, “Are you guys going to build a teleporter or you messing with me.” Sgt. Black Strike says, “Just trust me like you want us to trust you.” Unit 1 says, “Fine but I want to get us out of here as soon as possible.” The sergeant says, “Yes sir.”

Black Strike gathers up all the unicorns and they form a circle. Unit 1 goes up to the 2nd floor and takes cover behind a strip of wall. Unit 1 pulls out a Magnum and starts shooting at Mad Stallions; he tries to aim for ones out in the open or making a break to the doors. Unit 1 uses his free hand you get on the radio with Applejack, “Applejack, I need to talk with you.” Applejack says, “What’s on ya mind?” Unit 1 says, “I think one of your spiked head buddies might have lost his mind. He trying to teleport us out of here and I don’t know if it will work.”

Applejack was about to tell Unit 1 about the magical powers that unicorns have but a text appears on Unit 1’s visor alerting him about a Mobile Artillery Cannon. Unit 1 turns around and screams to his allies, “Incoming!” He sees a colorful dome of energy consuming the unicorns and it quickly gets bigger.  The artillery shell blasts the roof, but it doesn’t stop the forces in the warehouse from getting away. When the Mad Stallions stormed, they notice some of the crates and every single body (including the dead ones) vanished without a trace.

Meanwhile back at the Pelicans, The XZ MR.2 looks confused and says, “The forces in the warehouse are gone and I don’t have any idea what happened.” Applejack says, “Magic saved them.” Applejack yells out, “Alright everpony in, were leaven’.” As All the UNSC ponies and prisoners, XZ MR.2 asks, “How does a side show act help people/ponies disappear from my radar?”  Applejack says, “Ya got a lot to learn about magic and I know the pony that can help ya.”

When everyone got in the Pelicans, they started lift off in the sky and flying away. A group of Mad Stallion Personal Transporters try to stop them, but the Pelicans got away before they could do any serious damage. The Mad Stallions either shake their hooves at the Pelicans or try to shoot them down even though the Pelicans are out of range of their weapons.
