Equestrian Spartan

At the tunnel exit, Ground Squad was playing Uno from cards that one of them found in his UNSC uniform. A voice from the tunnel says, “Girls, I think the exit is this way.” One of the guardsponies says, “All right stallions, get ready.” They drop their cards and get into cover. Another guardpony complains, “I almost had Uno.” A few noises come from the cave. The first guardpony says, “Shhh, they’re coming.”

Pinkie Pie and a few excited soldiers rush out of the cave and one of them gets shot by one of the waiting troopers. The wounded pony says, “What the buck was that for?” The shooter says, “Oops, sorry.”

Pinkie Pie goes to the wounded pony and says, “I know what to do.” She pulls a medkit out of nowhere and slaps it on the guardpony. The guardspony gets fully healed, gets up and says, “What was that…” He notices his wound is gone. “I’m healed, thank Celestia!” A voice says, “I didn’t have a hoof in your recovery.”

The guardponies turn to see the princesses and the other survivors come out of the tunnel. They bow down to the approaching princesses. Luna says to the bowing guards, “Rise loyal guards…” They get up. “We see that Unit 1 and Crazy D supplied thou with new weapons and armor.” Celestia asks the guards, “Speaking of Unit 1, where is he?”  One of the guards says, “Last time we heard from him was on these ear things and his last words were ‘What are you talking about…’, then we heard a strange buzz and it got silent. I’m sure that he is fine considering he took on a lot of their guys with the exception of MAC.” Another soldier says, “It has been a while, almost a couple of hours, you would think that thing would be back by now.”

Crazy D says on the radio, “One of you ponies tell your friends that I’m giving you guys a present that you’ll all need.” The highest ranking guardspony says, “I’ll tell the princesses and the others.” Princess Celestia asks, “Tell our what, Sergeant Blitz?”

Suddenly 2 metal boxes appear in the sky. They get bigger with every second. The ponies look up in the sky and some of them wonder what magic is in those crates to make them fly and/or what’s in them. As the boxes get closer, the Pelicans carrying them become visible and they quickly drop off the boxes. The boxes start to form a structure.

When the structure was finished, its AI turned on. The AI says on the radio, “Firebase complete.”

As the ponies get closer, the AI reacts by requesting a MAC round from LE to make up for the fire base’s lack of defenses. LE quickly updates the new AI on what’s going on. The AI argues with LE on the information that she gave him. The ponies walk into the firebase and look at the futuristic architecture, technology, and equipment.

The Mane 6 and the Princesses find their way to the command room. They see computers, buttons, a rack full of data logs, and a lot of other high tech gear. Pinkie Pie gets close to some buttons, Twilight sees her and says, “Don’t touch…” Pinkie Pie presses random buttons and asks Twilight, “Don’t touch what?”

A hologram of a UNSC soldier in standard armor and a helmet with a visor but no face appears and he says in an angry tone, “Stop touching my buttons.” He sees the ponies all over the firebase with his cameras and says in worry, “Covenant in my base...” Screens appear nearby the hologram and the AI looks though the screens. “What do I have?” Pinkie answers, “You have blinking buttons, metal doors…”  A holo-keyboard appears in front of the AI and he types on it while saying with great confidence, “Thank you alien, you gave me an idea.”

The doors in the firebase close shut and cause some casualties on few of the curious ponies inside the base. A few seconds later, the doors get enforced by a thick cover of metal and the controls, beds, garages and other storages get covered with a similar metal covering. The screens have the words, (Lockdown complete) typed on them, and they show two loading bars on them. One bar is red while the other is yellow. All the ponies in the firebase look at the screens with curiosity. Twilight looks at the hologram and asks him, “What is that?” The AI says calmly, “A surprise.” Twilight asks, “What kind of surprise?” Pinkie Pie turns to Twilight and says, “He won’t tell you because it wouldn’t a surprise if he told you, silly.”

When the yellow loading bar was done loading, it disappears and the red bar gets centered and it is almost full.  The AI says, “Good bye.”

The red bar stops loading and gets replaced by big bold words that say, (Self Destruct Aborted). The AI looks at the screen and says, “That shouldn’t have happened.”

The Lunar Eyes' hologram (A woman with dark purple skin and hair that looks like the night)  appears nearby the Brick's hologram and says, “Brick, I’m the one who deactivated your countdown because it wasn’t necessary.”  Brick says, “Lunar Eye, this isn’t any of your concern. I am just…”  Lunar Eye interrupts, “It is my concern, When you are about to destroy our new allies and then you gave me your base authority when you tried to save yourself by transferring to the moon’s computers. I was quickly updated on your plan and stopped it.” Brick asks, “How did you do that?” Lunar Eye says, “You must have not read my file or you would have known I am a command AI so that means I’m your superior, and I have power over all the bases in any area of this planet. Besides you’re a base AI, your purpose is to maintain only one base, defend it and to give local troops support.”  Brick says, “I was made to help out ‘UNSC’ troops and to stop any and all Covenant at any means possible.”

Twilight taps on Brick’s hologram. Brick turns to her and says in an unhappy tone, “What is this, alien?” Twilight says, “Excuse me Brick but we are not Covenant and we don’t even know who they are.”  Brick says, “That statement is hard to believe.” Lunar Eye says, “Look up all known Covenant species and files to confer that they’re Covenant.” Brick says with confidence, “I will.”

A blanket of red light goes through the firebase; it passes through every pony like air. Some ponies tremble with it and quickly calm down when the light passes through, while others wondered what just happened. When the red touches the tip of the other side of the firebase, it vanishes.

Back with the AI’s, Brick says in relief, “The UNSC has no files on these aliens so that means they are not Covenant.” Lunar Eye says, “I told you.” Brick says in confusion, “But what does that make them?” Princess Celestia says, “We are allies, Brick.” Brick says calmly, “Alright we’re allies for now but I’ll keep my eyes on you.” He points to one of the cameras in the room.

The ponies in the room look at the cameras and Pinkie Pie gets ready for a picture.

Brick begins to type on his holo-keyboard and he says, “I’m going to get a basic firebase ready by starting with a barracks.”

The base shakes for a few seconds and metal floor surrounding the base opens one of its panels and a structure slowly comes out of it. Rainbow Dash asks, “What was that?”  Brick says, “That’s the barracks being built.” Fluttershy asks Brick nervously, “Can…Can I go now?” Lunar Eye says to Brick, “Yes Brick remove the locks so ‘all’ of our new allies can move freely in the base.” Brick looks at his security screens and says, “I will deactivate the lockdown right now and to let you know a handful of your fellow troops are going to need medical attention to put them back together.” He shows them the wounded troops. Fluttershy and Rarity faint at the sight of the wounded.

The thick layers of metal go away, the doors open, and the group of friends quickly leave the room to help the wounded. Unknowingly, they left Fluttershy and Rarity on the floor and Pinkie Pie still waiting for her picture to be taken.

Lunar Eye says to Brick, “Brick, I think you can handle this from here.” Brick says, “Yes, ma’am.” Lunar Eye disconnects with the firebase. Brick looks at the progress of the Barracks and it is 17% completed.

Pinkie Pie says, “I’m ready for my picture so what do I say?” Brick says, “They aren’t that type of cameras.” Pinkie Pie says excitingly, “They aren’t that type of cameras.” Brick giggles and says, “I’ll let you figure it out.”
