The New Foal

The next day, Razor didn’t wake up until noon, keeping Sweetie Belle waiting.

The colt yawned and Sweetie Belle entered the room.

“Hi Razor.” She said.

“Hello, Sweetie Belle” He replied

Sweetie Belle gave Razor a get well card, it had a drawing of Covelight inside of it. “Hope you feel better.” Sweetie Belle said.

“Oh, it’s amazing!” He said.

The filly blushed in the slightest manner. “Aww, thanks!”

Ms. Cheerilee entered the room. “Good morni- Ahem, I mean afternoon!” She said. “Wow, you’re quite the sleepyhead.”

“Hi Ms. Cheerilee!” Sweetie Belle said happily.

“Oh, hello Sweetie Belle, didn’t notice you there!” Ms. Cheerilee said when she noticed her.

That’s when the nurse came in. “I need everypony out of the room, instantly!” She exclaimed. “No visitors until further notice!”

The two burst out in confusion until the nurse had to escort them out.

All Hell was about to break loose in the room.

Two doctors came in less than ten seconds later.

“What in the world is going on?!” Razor asked, scared pale.

It had been just then, a further issue has come from the results.

The doctor to the right explained. “Not only has the flu caused the normal symptoms, but the severe case had also caused lung damage!”

Then the colt pulled his hooves to his chest in mere horror. “What do you mean?” He said, paling further.

The two doctors ordered him out of bed, then escorted him to a room in the back. “It means, you have something worse than the flu, and you need surgery!” The one on the left explained.

The colt gulped, scared for his life.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be alright!” The nurse said.

The doctors lay him on an operation table, then they brought in a Nitrous Oxide breathing machine with a face mask.

“Wh- what’s that for?” The colt asked, shaking in fear.

"This will make sure you don’t feel any pain during the operation.” A doctor said.

The colt gulped and the put they mask on, then turned on the machine. The nitrous oxide made him pass out, then the surgery began…
