The next day Twilight had gathered her friends and has explained to them what has happened.
“Being called by the princess is very important. I wonder what she has in store for us”
Rarity said in excitement.
“I bet it’s a party”
Exclaimed Pinkie Pie.
“Why do you think it’s a party?”
Asked Rainbow Dash.
“Think about it”,
“She said we not I; therefore there are a lot of ponies.”
Rainbow Dash rose up
“What if the Wonderbolts are there?”
Rainbow Dash was squealing like a fan girl.
“What if all of Canterlot is there?”
Now Pinkie was squealing in more excitement.
“What if it ain’t even a party”
Applejack replied to the two of them.
“Maybe the Princess needs us for sometin else.”
“I hope there aren’t too many ponies”
Fluttershy added in a soft voice.
Twilight rose in front of the group.
“Whatever the Princess needs us for we have to be there.”

The mares have arrived at Canterlot and were walking towards Celestia’s castle. As they arrived, they received entry by the guards. Princess Celestia was waiting for them in the grand hall.
“Welcome Twilight, I’ve been waiting for you and your friends.”
The six mares all kneeled down to their princess.
“Princess if you don’t mind me asking, what are we doing here? In your letter it said we instead of I. Why is that?”
Twilight asked her mentor.
“I’m glad you asked. I was actually going to surprise you with something Twilight. Shining Armor and Princess Cadence were supposed to have arrived by now but their train has been delayed by a day.”
Twilight jumped up.
“My brother and Cadence are coming?”
“Yes, they will be staying here in the castle for the next couple of weeks.”
“Why did you need us then?”
Rainbow Dash asked.
“Rainbow!”
Twilight said grinding her teeth together.
“You can’t just ask questions like that.”
“It’s quite alright Twilight, Rainbow Dash has a point”.
Rainbow Dash smirked over at Twilight.
“I have a special task for you all.”
Celestia stepped aside to let a pony pass them.
“This is Star Shooter.”
Star Shooter was a gray coated earth pony; he was taller than expected, as tall as Big Macintosh. He had a long white mane with a silver outline and a shooting star cutie mark with stardust around it.
“Hello there. I have heard many things about you six. I am Star Shooter. Pleasure meeting you.”
Princess Celestia then began introducing her subjects.
“Allow me to introduce the bearers of the Elements of Harmony.”
“Applejack representing honesty”
“Howdy there”
Applejack said removing her hat.
“Fluttershy representing kindness”
“Um… hi”
Whispered Fluttershy.
“Pinkie Pie representing laughter”
“AHH! A new friend. This is so exciting. We need to have a party soon. I’m going to need balloons, candy, streamers…”
Pinkie is then shushed by Twilight’s magic by zipping her mouth close.
“Rarity representing generosity”
“Charmed”
Rarity said in elegancy.
“Rainbow Dash representing loyalty”
“Nice to meet ya”
Rainbow Dash flew over to shake his hoof.
“And finally Twilight Sparkle, my star pupil, representing the most powerful element, Magic”
“It’s a pleasure.”
Star Shooter gazed at the six mares and replied
“Nice to meet you all”,
Star Shooter has a wide smile on his face.
Celestia then spoke up to the group
“My task for the six of you is to help this pony get settled into Ponyville. Make him feel comfortable. Twilight, would it be alright if he stayed at the library with you?”
“Of course Princess Celestia”
Twilight answered knowing it was an honor.
“Because you six hold the Elements of Harmony I couldn’t find anypony else better for this task. Thank you; you are all dismissed.”
The mares bowed and turned to leave the room.
“One last thing”
They heard a familiar voice and saw Princess Luna enter the room.
“Twilight Sparkle, we need a moment with you.”
“What for?”
Twilight was confused as to what was going on.
“The rest of you can go; Twilight will remain here until tomorrow”
Celestia had added to what Luna has said.
The other ponies left wondering what was going on. Twilight turned to the princess as soon as her friends left the room.
“What’s wrong? Why have you summoned me for Princess?”
“Twilight Sparkle, we need your help in a very important matter”
Luna said with hesitation in her voice.
Celestia flew over to Twilight and started explaining.
“We are going to teach you a new spell.”
