(srry for the wall-o-text ish look, 2 pre readers found getting this story to them ASAP)

"So you actually want to know my story" said Drax.

"Yes" answered the mayor.

Drax sighed and shook his head. "Fine, my story starting, starting at the age of 8"

I was about 8 years old, very scrawny kid, got bullied a lot in school but every time I tried to get anger out, the bullies would just find that as a weakness and pounce. Then I snapped, beat the shit out of one of them. I was never bothered by them again. Then the government barged into my school and took me away. I was knocked out and when I woke up, I was strapped into a surgery bed. Then they put 5 needles into my veins and injected me with what I later found out was strength increasing compound. At the time, I thought it was liquid fire. It felt like someone had taken a bonfire, condensed all the heat into a liquid, and then shoved it into my bloodstream. What it was actually doing was constantly shredding my muscle fibers, then healing them, and shredding them again. This process built up muscle tissue and for the same reason it was very dangerous. Mainly because It would shred my heart up at the same time. About three days later, I was still in pure agony and then they shoved me into the toughest military training. First day we had to run 10 miles, then 600 pushups, 900 sit ups, 200 pull ups, plank for 20 min. We had to do this 5 times each day and this does not count our other training. Usually, most people can go through this for 1 month max and then they come out the toughest of the tough. I was kept in this for 5 years. I was 13 years old when they finally put me into the Spec Ops unit: F.T.L.D.B. I forget what the true name of it was but to all the other troops it was known as Fight 'till your last dying breath. This training made the last unit's seem easy. It was the same thing, but only while wearing suits that made gravity effect us about 5x more than normal while wearing 150 pounds of gear. I stayed in this Unit, but every two days, I was taken out and I had more Injections. The normal muscle stuff was a neon blue color. They started to inject this new stuff which was this nasty red color. Apparently it was a pain solution which made my body 20x more resistant to pain. They proved this to me by taking a Nail, putting it to my hand and driving it through. It still hurt but not nearly as bad.

"Wait, they drove a NAIL THROUGH YOUR HAND" Fluttershy said, with a look of pure horror on her face. "How can you use your... hand anymore?".

"I am actually just about to get to that, which is pretty interesting" said Drax, who then continued on with his story.

So, this went on for another 3 years and then on my 16'th birthday, I was taken out again and then my entire body scanned. They found that my family had some type of bone defect which made them a bit more brittle than others. This raised the question of surgery which I at the time didn't really care about. They told me that I was going to get my bones replaced with these new kinds of fake bones made of this stuff called : SC:9543 which is about 60 times harder than diamond, and due to its molecular structure, its one of the sturdiest things ever. Only problem was that putting all of that In my body would be to expensive and augmentation would be cheaper. So when they replaced my body with the new bones, they only replaced my head, spine, chest, and pelvic area. My legs and arms were cut off and replaced with these new mechanical appendages.

A few of the ponys had fainted upon hearing that he had his entire body opened and had all of his bones replaced and a few threw up at the arm and leg cutting off part. It was obvious that surgery in this land was a last ditch effort to save lives, not to alter appearances or change any physical structure.

"Oh trust me, we aren't even at the the bad part yet" said Drax.

So then at age 18, I was thrown into the NPOD training. That was a real bitch, that day, 5 out of 15 people died that day during training. NPOD as I have said before is falling through the atmosphere without any protection excluding your armor. This consisted of jumping off of 50 feet buildings without any armor. This helped us figure out how to land correctly. Then more injections and stuff. This is the pace where the true pain training actually stared. They had computers that would hook up to our heads and make us experience the pain of unspeakable things. The most painful was when it simulated a grenade being thrown at our crotch and then exploding.  After that, we went into true Super Soldier training. I had told myself it could not get any worse, hell was I wrong. Here is our daily workout: 30 mile run, pain training, breakfast, 1000 pushups, pain training, Injections, 1500 sit ups, pain training, plank for 1 hour, pain training,  late lunch, jog 5 miles to digest food, 500 pull ups. Rifle training, assault training, hand to hand training, water training, interrogation training, vehicle training, and finally dinner.

"This was my life for a long time but then something happened" said Drax

There were a few scientists who had just made a new injection and slipped it into the daily injections. It was realized that this was not supposed to be there but not before one guy was already dead, another two were very ill, but for some reason. It had no effect on me. I didn't think much of it, but it made me partially immortal. I could not die of old age or unless there was some true huge impact or force, my body would heal any life threatening wounds but would not stop scar tissue from building up. Then I did missions for the government, dangerous yes, but I didn't care, but my last one was different. It was supposed to be just a simple infiltration mission but then... well shit happened.
