One ODST's adventure in Equestria
Into the Belly of the Malevolent Grace
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAt Fire Base Sierra, he was regrouped with his squad. “Bro, what happened to you? You look like hammered crap.” Said one of his squad mates. “I do?” Epsilon said, looking himself over to see if it was true. “I guess I do look like crap. I’ll tell you what happened to me in the War Room.” His squad mates, eager to hear what happened to him, followed him to the War Room. At the war Room, everyone there had a very serious face, concerned about the Covenant on Earth. “So, Sergeant, tell us what happened.” Said Olivia, the squad’s sniper. Epsilon tried to think of a way to tell them without it seeming unrealistic or stupid. When he couldn’t find a way to tell them, he just told them directly what happened. “Okay, so after I disappeared, I was teleported to a place called “Equestria”. And….” “So, did you make this up? I’m not stupid, and there is no place called “Equestria” on any tactical map that I know of.” Said Axton, the squad’s smart guy. “No, I did not make this up, now can I continue,” said Epsilon, and continued,” After I had entered, I was out for 10 hours, until a white… pony, came and took me to shelter. She gave me food and drink, and helped me get back. I owe her my life and now I need to get her out of the Covenant’s disgusting hands.” The entire squad looked at him, trying to not laugh. “So, you saw a talking horse? Seems pretty stupid and childish.” Said Olivia. “Trust me guys. It wasn’t stupid. The Covenant was there.” Said Epsilon. Suddenly, the entire squad fell silent, and Olivia said, “Well then we must stop them.” “No need, me and Vinyl killed them all, and painted the dirt with their blood.” Said Epsilon, “And I’m going to save her no matter what. Are you with me guys?” The rest of the squad looked at him in disbelief, until Olivia finally said,”Alright, I’m in. How about the rest of you.” Axton, one to not join in on childish things said, “Nope. I’m not going to help you rescue a horse. I swore to protect HUMANS, not horses.” “Axton, she turned into a human when we were teleported here. So that means that you have to help.” Axton, since he swore to protect humanity said, “Fine I’ll come with.” Epsilon thought to himself, “Alright, now that I have a team I can get there with support and get out alive.”
“Command, this is Call sign 115935 over.”
“Yes Epsilon, what do you need over.”
“We need a small Frigate, preferably the Forward Unto Dusk.”
“Negative soldier. You know you can’t have access to this type of equipment.”
“Fine. Do we at least have access to any of the prototype Heavy Weight Calibration Assault Armor?”
“Yes you, do have access to it. What do you require it for, exactly?”
“We’re going to take down the Malevolent Grace flagship.”
“Alright then. What else will you require?”
“Two E.V.A. Suits, 70000 heavy caliber 7.69mm bullets, a charged thermite bomb… and the Forward Unto Dusk.”
“Alright. Take the ship. Just make sure it comes back in one piece.”

Things were not going well for Vinyl and Derpy. They had been knocked out cold, beaten, yelled at for “intelligence”, beaten even more, and shackled to a purple and green wall by what appeared to be electricity. “Derpy….(cough, spits up blood)….. you still with me?” the D.J. asked. Derpy did not move. Suddenly, she awoke in a sense of panic, yelling, “MONSTERS! ALIENS! MY MUFFINS! WHERE ARE THEY? SOMEPONY HELP US!!!” Vinyl shushed the grey Pegasus, and looked around to see if any of the aliens had heard them. Their guard alien only stared at them with its cold, beady eyes, staring at them with hate. “It’s okay Mr. Alien thing. We can’t hurt you. After all we, are chained to this wall, right?” Vinyl said uneasily. What would become of them? Would they die? And where was Epsilon? He should have saved us by now. Suddenly, another alien entered the room saying, “Well, well, well. These are the prisoners, eh? Take them to the torture chamber, let us see how long they can survive our beatings.” They suddenly hit the floor and lost consciousness.

Speeding towards the Malevolent Grace, the Forward Unto Dusk was readying to attack. “Epsilon, just what are you planning to do with that bomb exactly?” asked Olivia. Epsilon looked at her through the visor of the Heavy Weight Calibration Assault Armor, and said, “I’m going to destroy that ship once and for all no matter the final cost.”
“Even your life?”
“Yes, even my life.”
