We learn the bolts have to save Equestria, but they too succumb to the evil ancient villain pony known as Doom. He had plagued the world before, byt was stopped by Celestia and Luna. He is accidentally brought back to the world again. Soarin and the Wonderbolts must rush to Canterlot to protect Celestia, but this pony isn't like any other magician. In all this, Soarin also finds out more about his past and who his mother really is because of doom. In the end, it is up to Soarin to find a secret weapon and deliver it to Celestia before it is too late. (Sequel to the fabulous Wonderbolts part 1.) After Doom is defeated, Soarin reaches his first challenge as captain of the RGAF (Royal Guard Airforce) tension between the sisters causes alliances, daring moves, spying, and eventual war between them both. Soarin is expected to fight with Celestia, but he doesn't want to fight against Luna. He is stuck in the middle of this war that tears Equestia into two halves.
