CMC Adventures: The Dance

The school day had ended and the Cutie Mark Crusaders had just gotten to their club house at Sweet Apple Acres, the three of them were discussing the dance and how they were going to ask the ponies they wanted to go with.

"But I don't see why I can't just ask Dinky to the dance Sweetie Belle!!!" Scootaloo was confused as to why Sweetie Belle was making a big deal about their dates.

Sweetie Belle Argued back "Because this our first time asking anypony to a dance Scootaloo don't you want the moment to be special?"

Scootaloo gazed at the ground for a moment "Yea... I guess I do, but still I'm no good at all this Mushy stuff Sweetie Belle, isn't there an easier way to do this?"

Applebloom finally spoke up "Yea Scoots has got a point Sweetie Belle, isn't there an easier way to ask sompony to the dance?" both Scootaloo and Applebloom looked at Sweetie Belle with pleading eyes.

"Well I'm not sure how you two feel about Rumble or Dinky but, I really like Pipsqueak and I really would like him to know how I feel and this dance is the perfect opportunity to let him know." When Sweetie Belle finished her sentence,  she returned her friends gaze.

Applebloom and Scootaloo looked at one another, " Ya know she has a good point too Scootaloo, this really would be the perfect time to tell them if we really like them." Applebloom gave her friend a smile as she walked towards Sweetie Belle.

Scootaloo looked at her two friends, and let out a sigh, "Yea guess that's true, alright I'll go along but, try and keep it simple please."

The three of them cheered as they all agreed to come up with a plan, on how to ask the ponies they like to the dance. They sat around a small table, tossing around idea's on how they could ask there respective ponies to the dance.

"Well I know for a fact that Dinky loves books. Maybe I could help her find a book she really wants and then ask her when I'm giving it to her."

Applebloom seemed to approve of her plan but, Sweetie Belle asked, "Don't you want to wear some kind of make-up or something you know a little bit of..."

Sweetie Belle was cut off by Scootaloo "NO WAY!!! there's no way I'm going to wear make up, that's to girly."

"Sweetie Belle looked at Scootaloo "But don't you want Dinky to say yes?" Sweetie Belle looked over at Scootaloo hoping to change her mind.

"Of course, I want her to say yes but, I don't need to wear make up for that I'm just going to go with my plan" Scootaloo finished making it clear she would just stick with her plan.

"Uuuhhh fine I still say it would go better with some kind of make up though, what about you Applebloom how do you plan on asking Rumble?" Sweetie Belle looked over at Applebloom hopefully.

"Well I'm not going to wear make up or anything if thats what you're hoping for," as she continued Sweetie Belle's hopeful expression fell, "But Rumble's kind of shy, friendly but, shy I was thinking I could ask his big brother what he likes and you know work off of that."

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle had questioning expressions as Applebloom explained her vague plan. "Well I guess that works I mean none of us really know Rumble that well, so asking his brother is really all you could do." Sweetie Belle was about to comment when she realized Scootaloo had a point.

Applebloom and Scootaloo turned there gazes towards Sweetie Belle, "So what about you Sweetie Belle, how do you plan on asking Pipsqueak to the dance?" asked her red maned friend.

Sweetie Belle began to think as she spoke to her friends. " Well, I've noticed that Pipsqueak really likes to spend the day outside playing with his friends, so I was thinking that I could ask to spend the day with him and then before we have to go home, I ask him if he'd like to go the dance." The white filly was rather happy with her plan and her friends had no objections.

"So, how come your plan doesn't involve you wearing make up?" asked the orange filly to her friend.

Sweetie Belle looked back at Scootaloo, "The reason my plan doesn't involve make up is because my plan involves me running around all day with the colt I want to ask, and I'd rather not have blush and eye shadow smeared across my fur when I ask him," explained Sweetie Belle.

Scootaloo was about to respond when Applebloom spoke up, "Well that settles that, we all have a plan, we all know who we're going to ask, all that's left to do is put our plans into motion." Sweetie Belle And Scootaloo nodded in agreement, "Well guess that wraps up this meeting, and just in time to, it looks likes it's starting to get dark outside, I say that we put our plans in motion as soon as we can.

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle both responded "Agreed!"

The three fillies exited their club house and said good bye and good night to one another as each of them parted ways to go to their respective homes.
