A New Fate

Bardock finally drifted back into conciousness but was suprised yet unhappy with what he was looking at. For some reason he was satring in the eyes of a pink horse with wings and a horn. 'That explains the pink I saw... wait, where am I?' Bardock thought to himself. The last thing he remembered was being desinigrated by Frieza's attack in space, how is he on land let alone alive? He efigured he'll get to that later, now he has to find out where the hell he was.

Bardock sat up to inspect himself to find himself completely unharmed, he even felt stronger, had he been healed? This was all too strange for him. After his inspection he looked around and to his surprise he saw even more horses. There were six small ones and two larger ones, one of them being the pink one he woke up to find. There was a purple one with a pink stripe going through it's purple mane, two white ones except the manes were different colors (one being blue, the other purple), a bright pink one that had a curly mane that was a darker shade of pink, an orange one wearing a hat which he found odd,a cyan coloured on with a rainbow mane, and a yellow one that seems to be cowering behind her pink mane. He's still aware of the taller pink mare that is infront of him.

He had noticed something about these animals though, some had horns or wings or niether. The pink one with both must represent some sort of authority. He also took note that they had tatttoo like markings on each of thier flanks.

Bardock looked down and muttered "Great, I die and get sent to a magical barn. At least it's better than hell."Bardock figured he was dead, how else could he be 'living', that still doesn't change the fact he needs to know where he is.

Out of nowhere he hears an agitated feminine voice "Excuse me but this is a library not a barn, thank you very much!"

Bardock looked up in surprise'So there are people here?' he thought.

"Where are you? Show yourself?" The sayain demanded.

His day was full of suprises, and they kept coming. The purple unicorn from the group he examined stepped forward "I'm right here, are you insane?"

"What the hel!?" He exclaimed in confusion.

Now the rainbow maned one stepped in "Hey, what's your problem guy?"

"Horses don't talk!" He replied.

"Parden me but we are ponies not horses." Said the white smaller one with a curly mane.

The purple one spoke again "You semm pretty suprised to see us talk."

"As far as I'm concerned ponies are not supposed to talk!" Bardock felt immasculated for using the term 'ponies'. At that moment a door at the end of the room slammed open turning Bardock's and the ponies' attention to it. A small green and purple lizard like creature came through the door looking tired and irritated.

"Jeez, can't a baby dragon get some sleep ariund here!?" It said then looked at Bardock "Woah, whose the new guy?"

"That's right, we haven't learned your name then we can throw you a 'Welcome To Ponyville' party!" The smaller pink mare said bouncing up and down with a smile that nearly covered half her face.

'Ponyville/ Huh, a little cliche Bardock thought, at least he knew where he was but he didn't know the location of this Ponyville. He then stood up to realize he was alot taller than these ponies. The only ones that came close to his height were the pink alicorn and the white unicorn with a blue mane which he assumed was a stallion due to it being bulkier than the rest. Although they only reached up to his neck, the other six were up to the upper half of his abdomen.

He looked at all the ponies and said in a gruff voice "Bardock."

"Bard-what? Is that part of yer alien language?" Asked the orange one wearing a hat.

Bardock narrowed his eyes at her and frowned "Thats my name." He said sternly.

"Oops, sorry bout that." She said sheepishly.

"Whatever" He said "I told you my name, it's only fair you tell me yours." Then again he was a sayain warrior, he didn't need to be fair on the battlefield. He could of blown them all up if he really wanted to.

"He does have a point..." agreed the yellow mare hiding behind her mane. After she had spoke the pony hesitantly wallked over to Bardock. "um, I'm Fluttershy." She mumbled as she stook her hoof out for a hand/hoof shake. Bardock stared at her for a few moments then slowly accepted the invitation. He got a hold of Fluttershy's hoof, the yellow pegasus had beads of sweat dripping down her forehead at this pont.

Bardock steadily shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you." He said although he still wore a frown upon his face. When she heard this Fluttershy was no longer nervouse around this new comer, infact she had a smile upon her face. Seeing his reaction with Fluttershy the rest of the ponies went to introduce themselves as well.

The purple mare came up to him with enthusiasm "Greetings, I am Twilight Sparkle. You just have to tell me about yourself, like what you are or-" Bardock raised his hand at her, signaling her to stop.

"Not right now." He said.

"Oh okay" Twilight pouted.

Just then the rainbow maned pegasus pulled away Twilight and stood in her place "I'm Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in Equestria!" As she said this she stook her chest out and expanded her wings for flair. Bardock raised an eyebrow to this statement 'Fastest flyer huh?' He thought. Bardock vanished from his spot and reappeared behind Rainbow Dash.

"Make that 'second fastest' now." he said in a devious chuckle. Rainbow Dash deflated herself and blushed in embaressment. She turned to face Bardock.

"Well let's have a race to find out, tough guy!" She challenged.

"Maybe some other time, Rainbow, we still need to get aquianted. The white mare stuck her hoof out between Rainbow Dash and Bardock and stepped in between tye two. "I am Rarity, delighted to meet you." She flutterd her eye lashes at him as she said this which made him feel awkward. She looked at Bardock's armour in horror at how destroyed it was. "When this is over you simply must come to my shop for some new appearal."

Bardock also looked at his damaged armour "Yeah maybe your right." He looked up to see the smaller pink pony dangling upside down from his head staring into his face. "What the fuck!?" He was completely taken by surpris. He hadn't sense her, how did she do that?

"Hiya! My name's Pinkie pie, what kind of cake do you like? Chocolate, vanilla, strawbery ? I have to know so I can throw you a- mmph mph" Bardock covered her mouth with his hand.

"Now, are you going to get off my head?" He asked staring into her big blue eyes.

"Mm-hmm" She hummed through her covered mouth. Bardock removed his hand allowing the pink pony to climb off him.

"Oh com on now, you don't have tuh be such a party pooper." The orange pony said. "Howdy, I'm Applejack." She tipped her hat off to him and he nodded back at her.

"And I'm Princess Cadence, and this is my husband Shining Armour." The pink alicorn said gesturing to the stallion beside her.

Bardock still had the same expression on his face from when he woke up. Twilight noticed this "You're not a very happy person, are you?" He said nothing and just stared at her, she could feel his eyes pierce through her soul "Anyway," she spoke again "earlier you said you died? What was that about?"

"You don't look pretty dead to me." Rainbow Dash observing the obvious.

Bardock finally broke his silence "Before I ended up here I was in battle and the last thing I remeber was being swalloewd by a giant ball of energy which should of killed me."

"Oh my," Rarity commented "what were you fighting for?"

Bardock curled his hand into a fist, gettting angry thinking back to his fight with Frieza. To think it wasn't possible his face looked even angrier, he cringed his teeth in frustration. "I Don't got time for this!"

Rainbow Dash flew up to him "What's your deal man!?"

Bardock is beyond upset at this point and pointed an open palm at Rainboe Dash's face "Back the hell off, now!" He charged a ki ball into his hand. Rainbow Dash felt the heat coming from the sudden ball of energy and realized the danger she was in, she wasn't going to get on his bad side from now on. Rainbow dropped to the floor and slowly backed away from the enraged sayain, she was lucky it was a threat this time. "Thought so" he said.

A purple aura like bubble surrounded the ponies. Bardock looked for it's source and saw that it was Shining who had put up the shield. "Tch" Was all Bardock said before he flew up the ceiling from where he entered. Once outside he chose a random direction and flew off. Once Shining knew he was gone he let down his shield.

"Geez! What a bully!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Well let's not jumb to conclusion," Shining said "he's in a new land he knows nothing about and besides that he had a near death experience, He just needs space to let it sink in and another chance."

Rainbow's ears perked up to this "Another chance!? He tried tokill me!" She yelled.

"Look Rainbow, I'm not saying you're wrong but maybe you should'nt of gotten in his face like that, especially if we know nothing about him." Twilight tried to explain.

"Whatever..." Rainbow muttered.

"Um I hate tuh change the subject but where in the hay is Fluttershy!?" Applejack's words shocked everypony.

Rarity gasped "She must of gone after that Bardock character when we were'nt paying attention!" Rainbow Dash's eyes widened and without any warning she went through the hole Bardock did. When she was outside she scanned every direction untill she saw a yellow silhouette south-east of her direction then she took off.

Fluttershy went to go look for Bardock as soon as Shining let down his bubble shield. She saw Bardock faintly in the distance and took off as fast as her wings would carry her in that direction. 'Poor Bardock' she thought You are just like a scared defenseless animal resorting to violence...' Her thoughts were cut off as a flash of blue went past her and stopped five feet in front of her. It was Rainbow Dash who had a face of worry mixed with anger like a parent's.

"Where do you think you're going?" Rainbow asked.

Fluttershy closed her eyes and breathlessly said "I'm going to find Bardock."

Rainbow was in disbelief "Why!? In case you have'nt noticed he tried to kill me!"

"Yes but he could change his ways if we show him kindness, besides remember the manticore? It was a scared hurt animal until we showed it not to be afraid of us. Bardock is somewhat in the same situation as the manticore. Trust me on this, please?" Rainbow Dash wasn't too sure but then again Fluttershy was the element of kindness after all, if anyone she could change Bardock.

Rainbow Dash got close to Fluttershy, close enough to give her a hug. "Please becareful and if he tries any funny buisness you come right back to us."

Fluttershy smiled at her friend "I promise, I'll get him to be... calmer." She wasn't even sure that she could accomplish this but she had hope for him. The two disengaged thier hug and flew opposite directions. Rainbow Dash went to tell her friends Fluttershy's plans and they asked why she didn't stop her, she told them that she had faith in Fluttershy.

Fluttershy was extremely nervouse, she is about to confront a beast beyond her imagination. After six minutes of searching by air Fluttershy spotted Bardock sitting at a river bank. 'Here goes nothing...' she thought as she descended to his position. Time has passed by rather quickly with the past events, it was night time and there was a full moon out...
