A New Fate

*Everfree forest*

Bardock didn't care where he was going he just wanted to get away from those damn ponies. Five minutes of flying past trees, bushes, and other form of greenery Bardock decided to stop at a lake side within the forest. There was a big clearing with a cave nearby, it would have to do as a temporary home for now. Bardock landed next to the shore of the lake, he knelt and scooped up the crystal blue blue water in his hands and started to drink. He was suprised at how clear the water was, he could spot the deepest area in the body of water from where he was. He looked down at his own reflection in the water as everything started to fade away. Seconds passed by and a familiar scene was generating in his area, a grass valley with thin trees and mountains in the distance.

A voice came from behind "Father..."

Bardock already knew who it was. "Hello, Kakkarot." He said.

"Remember father, be diferent than Frieza. You have the chance to be a better person now, please use this chance." His son said.

Bardock looked away from his reflection and turned around to look at his son, arm reaching out to try and touch his shoulder. right when he was about to make contact with Kakkarot he vanished. "Yes, my son" He said. When those words escaped his mouth everything faded away again and he returned to the forest area he was in before the vision.

Fluttershy was scared by the fact she was in the Everfree but overcame it eventually because she was determined to find Bardock. She tried her best to catch up because of his great speed but she was no where near close to him. With time she spotted him looking out at a lake side and descended slowly behind him.

"Uh-um h-h-hello muh-mister Bardock ?" She nervously said.He heard her soft scared voice and immedtialy could tell it was Fluttershy.

"What do you want ?" He demanded.

She continued to stutter "Oh w-w-well I-I..."

"C'mon I don't have all day, well whats left of it anyway." He interrupted. His rudeness was starting to irretate Fluttershy now. She started to fly a litle to reach his eye level even though his back was still turned to her.

Fluttershy bursted out "Now you look here Bardock, we tried being friendly to you but you acted like a jerk and you still are acting like one! The least you can do is show a LITTLE respect !" She was huffing due to her anger but stopped because she just realized what she had said. "Oh no..."

"Heh-heh, " he began to laugh "HAHAHAHAHAHA !" This caught Fluttershy off guard. "Not alot of people would tell me that, that took guts kid."

"Oh, well um thanks." she replied with a smile and a light blush.

He turned around and looked at her with a small smile "Maybe your'e not too bad after all... oh shit." His smile quickly disapeared, when he turned to look at the hovering Fluttershy he also noticed the moon behind her in the dark blue, star filled sky. It was full and big.

"What's wrong ?" she asked him.

He didn't answer but kept staring past her. Fluttershy looked over her shoulder to try and find what he was looking at but saw nothing special other than the moon. She turned back to Bardock, a look of shock had claimed her face. Something was happening to Bardock, his mouth was open baring large canines that seemed to of come out of no where.

*Canterlot*

Princess Celestia wasn sitting next to her sister, Princess Luna, each in their own throne. Celestia was satring out a massive mozaic window with a worried look on her face.

"You can feel this presence too, can't you sister ?" Luna asked.

"Yes, it bothers me for I can not tell if it's here for good or..." She didn't finish her sentance.

"Pray for good." Luna added

*Everfree*

"Guh-uh" Bardock grunted. He dropped to his knees and his body started to bulge.

"Bardock !" Fluttershy shocked "Please stay here I'lll go get help !" With that being said she begun to take off but was pulled back by something big, scaley and clawed.

A large red out stretched arm protruding from the cave got hold of Fluttershy. She knew what it was but was too scared to believe it. 'Dragon' she thought, she was correct. As if on cue two large golden eyes illuminated within the cave and krept closer to it's arm to see it's prize. Finally the massive red beast came out of the cave. It looked at Fluttershy with a big toothy smile. Fluttershy was parylized with fear all she could do is watch as the dragon opened its mouth and pull her towards it. Tears started to flow from hers eyes but she couldnt scream, the breath of the dragon stunk she wanted to vomit. She closed her eyes waiting for it all to happen, seconds passed then moments. She should of been eaten by now, what was happening? She hesitantly opened her eyes to the dragon's head held in a head lock from behind, one arm around the neck and the other holding the the dragon's arm back from moving closer to it's mouth. She looked at her savior, it was a giant ape but it was wearing Bardock's armour. She looked at where Bardock originally was but he wasn't there just his red head rag.

She looked back the great ape "Bardock !?" she called out. The ape peered over the dragon's shoulder to look at Fluttershy being captive. The ape had red eyes with no pupils but Fluttershy could tell he was looking at her. "But how !?" She exclaimed. The ape took it's eyes off Fluttershy and looked sktward towards the moon. Fluttershy finally understood what it ment: the moon transforms him, but why?

The dragon noticed Bardock had tooken his focus off him and used this oppurtunity to strike back. The dragon manuvered it's tail to sweep Bardock off his feet. The great ape fell backwards letting go of the dragon's arm to try to stop himself from falling although still holding the neck of the dragon. The dragon bent his head as low as possible and bit on the ape's arm with all it's force.This caused Bardock to let go of the dragon completely, both tumbled on the dirt floor causing a small earthquake.

*Ponyville*

"Are you sure she can handle this ?" Shining asked Rainbow Dash

"Yes." Rainbow simply replied but having courage in her voice.

The floor shook a little and Shining looked at Rainbow with a raised eyebrow.

Shining turned to the rest of the girls "I'm going to look for her." he said

Rainbow stood behind him. "Me too, I shouldn't of let her go out there alone."

Cadence looked at the two. "Please, becareful." she said. Rainbow and Shining gave a nod and left the library

*Everfree*

The two beasts were getting up slowly. As soon as both got up they stared off each other, waiting for who made the next move. Bardock rushed the dragon with punches and kicks but kept missing, he was not as fast in his oozaru form. The dragon dodged and ducked with it's slender body. Bardock grew tired of missing and shot an energy blast on the floor to temporarily blind the dragon with dust and dirt flying in the air. The dragon flapped it's wings to clear the air but it was too late the great ape connected a right hook on the dragon's jaw. The dragon held it's jaw with both clawed hands, releasing Fluttershy in the process. Fluttershy was too scared to fly and let out a scream as she was tossed aside towards trees. Bardock reacted quickly and lept towards Fluttershy cathing her with and out streched arm, Bardock had to turn his back on the dragon for a split second. The dragon took this second oppertunity to strike and lunged towards Bardock clamping his it's jaws on his tail. Bardock felt the most pain crawl up his spine and with a quick jerk from the dragon the tail snapped off!

Bardock froze as he slowly shrunk down to his normal size still holding Fluttershy with one arm, she was amazed by his strength. With his free arm the wide eyed Bardock felt lower part of his back, a bloody section wjere his tail once was. The dragon swallowed the tail and stood over Bardock whose back was still turned. The dragon inhaled, smoke coming from his mouth. Bardock clenched his free fist and turned around to see the dragon about to breath fire, he shot his free hand forward and shot all his power in one energy wave through the dragon.

"DIIIIEEEEEE BASTAAAAAAAARD!" Bardock screamed as shot the blast through the dragon. The power was so great the dragon flew skyward by the force of energy.

*Somewhere else in the Everfree*

Shining and Rainbow heard loud roars in the forest and suspected Bardock had to be there. Out of nowhere a beam of light appeard with a screaming voice within two miles of there location.

"Quickly, over there !" Shining yelled then both  galloped as quickly as they could.

The body of the dragon came crashing down the ground with a sizzling hole that went right though it's chest and out the back, trees shook and the water seemed to do a wave like motion from the impact. Bardock stood there panting with an open palm pointed to the sky and still holding a crying Fluttershy who was burrying her head in his chest.

Some twigs snapped from behind Bardock and he turned to see a shocked Rainbow Dash and Shining Armour

"He killed a dragon..." Shining whispered. He regained his composure. "Ahem, um your'e coming with us tomarrow." He said to Bardock.

"Fine, but which direction was the town in? She needs a hospital." Bardock said. Shining pointed to where Ponyville was and Bardock quickly flew off with Fluttershy.

"What's going to happen tomarrow ?" Rainbow asked Shining.

"We're taking him to Celesta so she can decide his fate here." He replied
