A New Fate

Bardock flew towards the direction of Ponyville with whatever energy he had left over the Everfre forest, Fluttershy had fallen asleep in his arms due to shock. Bardock was lost in thought because of the vision he had with his son, he had promised to be better than Frieza and he was damn well not going to go back on that. He saw Ponyville in the distance.'Finally.' He thought. He was growing tired with each passing moment and struggled to stay awake. Bardock finally reached the foot of Ponyville; upon his arrival he landed, trudging to the building with a red cross on it wich he assumed was the hospital. He bursted through the building startling all the ponies inside who were either sitting behind a counter or waiting on a chair to be seen by a doctor. He ran to the front counter where a scared pearl white mare with pink mane was sitting and laid Fluttershy on the counter.

"She needs help..." Bardock said before collapsing due to exhaustion.

When the strange new comer fainted the mare trotted through  a pair of double doors yelling for asisstance. Right away three large unicorn colts rushed out through the doors. One levitated Fluttershy on a stretcher and rushed back through the doors while the other two were trying to figure out what to do with the alien.

"Take him too." A voice said to the colts, they turned to see who it was and saw Shining Armour. Recognizing the stallion the the colts did without question.

*Library*

Twilight was pacing around biting her lower lip while the other ponies talked amongst themselves. Cadence noticed Twilight and approached Twilight.

"I'm sure they're fine." Cadence said nuzzling her sister in law to comfort her.

"I know but if something happened," Twilight said " I just dont know what Id do"

"We`re all worried, sugarcube." Applejack added.

"Yeah me too Twi but I`m not going to let that bring me down!" Pinkie said "So turn that frown upside down!"

"Yes, darling, so please be don`t be troubled." Rarity added.

Twilight gave a small smile, all the rest of the girls smiled too and got together for a group hug.

*Hospital*

Bardock was being hauled off to a room on a stretcher that was much too small for him, his legs were hanging off due to his large size. The doctor, a light green unicorn stallion with a short yelow mane, volunteered to check out Bardock since he is an expert on Minotaur anatomy and Bardock looked pretty close to a minotaur. Shining was walking along with the doctor whose name is Amino Patella.  When they reached the room of destination the same problem was encountered when putting him on the bed: Bardock was much too large and his legs were hanging off the end but it`ll have to do.

"What`s the story with this one?" Amino asked Shining while attaching a heart monitor to Bardock.

"Believe it or not, he fought a dragon... and won." Shining staright forwardly explained.

"I beg your pardon," the doctor said shocked, looking awe struck at Shining "but did you say a dragon?" Shining nodded in response. "Bringing in an alien already took the cake but it fighting-"

"Sorry to interrupt you, doc, but his name is Bardock." Shining said.

"Is that so? Well, Bardock fighting a dragon -of all things- is beyond comprehension for me. Im stating the obvious here but with his height I dont think fighting a dragon is possible." The doctor was checking Bardocks vitals and was surprised by the results. "Well Ill be damned," Amino said "he seems to be recovering faster than an average pony would, he`s sleeping like a baby in fact. He sure is a strange one."

"So how`s our other patient doing?" Shining asked.

"If your reffering to Fluttershy, she has a few bruises and scratches. A few days of rest should have her as good as new." Amino replied.

"Thats good, Ill go tell the others. Once those two are awake send them over to Twilights Library." Shining said. He left the hospital to tell his sister, wife, and friends the news.

*Fluttershy`s room*

Rainbow Dash was sitting  beside watching Fluttershy sleep. She was sad to see her one of her best friends like this and felt guilt taking over her. She hung her head low, " This is all my fault, I should of never let you go alone." She blamed herself for what happened. She felt a hoof lay on her shoulder, she looked up to see Fluttershy with a smiling at her.

"Its not your fault, Rainbow." She said to her dear friend. Rainbow Dash was overwhelmed with joy and embraced her friend in a taight hug. "Rainbow (gasp) cant (gasp) breath." Fluttershy struggled to say. Rainbow Dash immediatly let her go.

"Sorry heh." Rainbow said rubbing the back of her neck, blushing. "Are you alright?" She asked.

"A little sore but nothing serious, thank you." Fluttershy answered.

"Knock knock," came a voice from the door way, it was Amino Patella "good to see youre up miss Fluttershy. A few days rest and youll be fine; come, lets check you out."

Fluttershy nodded but before she got up she had asked "What about Bardock?"

"He`s sleeping, surprisingly he is recovering pretty fast. Would you like to see him?" Amino answered with a question of his own.

"Yes, please." Fluttershy replied.

Blackness...

Bardock had been floating around in pure blackness. `Where am I? he thought. He saw a small light a long distance away, curious he slowly went to it. Every inch he got closer the light would get brighter. Finally when he reached it the light he reached for it, as soon as got hold of it the same landscape as his last vision appeared. Bardock looked at his hand and released the light, when he looked back up Kakarot was in front of him.

"You did good father, Im proud." he said before vanishing. After Kakarot had vanished everything started to warp away and Bardock felt himself getting sucked into another area. Bardocks eyes shot open and he quickly sat up realizing he was on a bed.Just a dream he thought. He noticed that Fluttershy and Rainbowdash were at his bedside, asleep.

"Ah, good to finally se that you`re awake." An unfamiliar voice said. Bardock looked to see a green unicorn stallion standing at the doorway of the room. "Hello, I am Doctor Amino Patella but you can just call me Amino. You were out for quite some time, those two have been there a while."

"Where you the one who treated me?" Bardock asked.

"Why yes, and I must say you sure are something special. I`ve never deen anypony make a speedy recovery like you have, especially after a beating like that." Amino said.

"That`s a saiyan for ya, near death one minute and completely healed the next." Bardock replied.

"By the way Is it true you killed a dragon?" Amino asked.

"You mean that big S.O.B that bit my tail off then yeah, if only I hadnt transformed i wouldve killed it sooner. I`d do it again if I had the chance." Bardock said with an aggrivated tone.

"My word, he was`nt kidding." Amino stated. "Wait, you said you had a tail?"

"So?" Bardock replied.

"I believe I have an idea on how to grow it back, although you`ll need to consult with Princess Celestia about that." Amino told him.

"Thanks, I`ll keep that in mind." Bardock said. He is still pretty pissed about losing his tail, although if this "Princess Celestia" person can regrow his tail she must have powers beyond his imagination.

"Anywho, would you like to check out?" Amino offered.

"Sure, whatever." Bardock replied. He looked over at the two mares at his bedside, stil asleep. "Wanna see something funny?" he asked with a devious smile.

"What do you plan on doing?" Amino said back a little worried.

"Just watch." Bardock said before standing up silently trying not to desturb the mares. He crept behind them and spread his arms wide. He looked back at Amino with an evil look on his face.

"What are you going to-" Amino didnt finish what he was going to say, Bardock quickly slapped his palms together making the loudest *smack* ever. The noise was so loud that it scared Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy awake. Rainbow Dash jumped up so high that she hit her head on the ceiling. Fluttershy dropped on her back with her limbs in the air and a terrified look on her face. Amino couldnt help but let out a little chuckle.

"Good youre awaike, lets get outta here." Bardock said to the girls.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" Rainbow yelled at Bardock.

"Wake up call." Bardock replied with a shrug, the devious smile still on his face.

"Could you please do it a more gentle way next timre, If you don`t mind that is?" Flutershy squeaked. She looked at Bardock more carefully, something was different about him. "Oh my, is that a smile I see?" she commented. Even though he still had his brows furrowed like usual Bardock had a small smile on him.

"Dont get used to it." Bardock replied. "Now lets get  moving, the others are waiting." he added.

*Twilight`s library*

"So they`re alright then?" Twilight asked her brother who had arrived from the hospital to deliver the good news.

"Yep, just resting up a bit. They should be out in no time." Shining said.

"Oh thank heavens!" Rarity exlaimed.

"Wait a minute, where`s Dashie?" Pinkie asked.

"Stayed behind to look after Fluttershy." Shining answered.

"Whats goin tuh happen next? Fer when they get out ah mean." Applejack wondered.

"We are going to have to bring Bardock to Princess Celestia, to decide his fate in Equestria." Shining explained. "Twilight, could you send a letter explaining our situation?"

"No problem. Spike, you ready?" Twilight asked the baby dragon. He ran to get a scroll and quil, when he got his materials he saluted in response. "Alright then,...

'Dear Princess Celestia,

We have an unannounced visitor, species unknown but speaks Equistrian, although he may be a danger. He is also a savior, he saved my dear friend Fluttershy. This creature is named Bardock, he is also not of this world. We are currently unsure if he is friend or foe, hes mostly friend... for now. He can get aggresive easily so we are careful around him. His resemblance is like that of a minotaurs but there are major differances between the two. There is something wierd about him, he can conduct some sort of magic material without possesing a horn and fly without wings too. We have no idea what to do with him so we come to you for this situation.

"Okay annnd done." Spike said before he sent the letter in a puff of green smoke.

*Canterlot Castle*

"This energy, it just dissapeared." The Princess of the night told her sister.

"Whatever it is, I just hope no damage has been done to my subjects. It was near Ponyville too, maybe it would be wise not to think on it." Celestia said. As soon as she said this a scroll had magically popped right in front of her. She caught it with her magic, unrolled it and began to read. She let out a sigh of relief knowing no one was hurt, although she wasn`t completely at ease.

"Oh my, Lu-Lu could you go to Ponyville and take a carriage... we have a visitor." Celestia said while levatating a new scroll and quil to herself and begun to write.

"Of course dear sister." Luna said walking out of the throne room.

*Twilight`s library*

Not long after when Spike sent the letter a response letter had made it`s way out of the baby dragon. Twilight got the letter with her magic and begun to read it.

"Just like you said, Shining, Princess celestia wants to see him." Twilight said after reading the letter. "Princess Luna is coming with a carriage." She added.

"We need to get those two out of bed." Shining said walking to the door. As soon as he opened the door he saw Bardock awaiting on the other side. "Excuse me." he said, the sayain complied and got out of the way. Shining walked out the library and walked halfway down the street to the hospital and went to a complete stop when realization dawned on him and facehoofed. He turned around with his head down embaressed of what he just did. Everyone started to laugh except Bardock, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash who had no idea what was going on.

"Mission accomplished dear." Cadence teased her husband, he blushed in reponse. Everypony walked outside to where the newly released patients were.

"I`m not even gonna ask." Rainbow said.

"And what is it you`re not asking about?" a voice familiar to all excpet Bardock asked.

Everyone turned to see Princess Luna decending in a carriage pulled by two royal gaurd stallion pegasi. As soon as she stepped out of her carriage everypony bowwed down before thier princess, Bardock stood there with his arms crossed looking at the new pony before him. His assumptions were correct from before: those that possess both horn and wings have some kind of authority, royalty in this case. Her appearance was different from that of Cadence`s, she was a dark bule color with a man and tail that had a wave like motion even though there was no wind. Her mane had no color, instead it was the night sky even though it was day out.

A guard noticed Bardock wasn`t bowing to Luna "You dare not bow before the Princess!?" he challenged.

"You dare speak to me with that tone?" Bardock challenged back.

The guard charged Bardock, "You incolent little-agh!" the guard tried to reply but Bardock cut him off by grabbing him by the throat. This caught everypony off guard.

The pony was much smaller than Bardock, he lifted up the guard to eye level, "You do NOT want to piss me off!" Bardock raged at the pony. He let go of the guard, letting him fall on his side gasping for air. He turned to Luna "Where are my manners?" he sarcasticaly said as he knelt before her.

"Rise." Luna said and everyone did so, even Bardock. "I apologise for my guard`s behavior but your violence was uncalled for." Luna said to Bardock.

"I only acted in self defence." Bardock replied, "Besides you should feel previlaged, I dont even kneel before my own king." he added running his finger across the scar on his face. "I also accept your apology, just dont let it happen again."

"Your behavior is unsettling, hopefully you change your ways when my sister and I bestow judgement on you." Luna said back. "Speaking of which, thats why I`ve arrived. You are being escorted to the Canterlot Castle so we can decide your fate in Equestria."

"Bardock, could you please behave yourself?" Fluttershy asked her savior.

He looked down at her; he stared into her eyes, she was a pure soul... like he saw in Kakarot. "Fine." he answered.

Luna was surprised that Fluttershy, of all ponies, got Bardock to settle down. "Well then, shall we get going?" Luna suggested

"Yeah, I think we`re ready." Twilight said. Almost everypony fit in the carriage, Bardock knew he was too large to fit in the carriage. "This may be a tight squeeze but you could probably fit." Twilight said.

"No, I`ll just follow the carriage." Bardock said as he started started to levitate in the air.

"Are you sure you can keep up?" Rainbow Dash mocked.

"I was about to ask the same thing." Bardock called back.

"Oh its on!" Rainbow yelled. She flew out of the carriage. "You guys go on ahead, we`ll get there later!"

"If you insist." Luna replied, with that the carriage took off.

"Finally gonna race huh?" Bardock scoffed.

"Yeah whatever, just don`t go on a rampage when you lose." Rainbow said back.

"If you say so." Bardock shrugged. "Where are we going anyways, i don`t know where this Canterlot place is."

"It`s just over those mountains," Rainbow pointed to some large mountains that were at least sixty miles away, "you may not see it at first but the city will be pretty visible once we get close."

Bardock tightened his head band, "Alright then, what are we waiting for?"

"Okay, starting from a countdown from three. Let`s take off on the ground first, so we get an even start."

Bardock and Rainbow Dash lined up on a grass field, both hunched over like a track racer ready to race.

Rainbow started off, "Three.."

Bardock continued, charging his energy "Two..."

Bardock and Rainbow simultaneously "ONE!!!"

The take off was so intense that the ground from once they stood caved in leaving a large crater. Rainbow Dash left a rainbow colored line behind her and Bardock had a light blue line trailing behind him. Both were neck and neck, although they weren`t going full speed. Both sped little by little trying to figure out each others limits, Bardock charged  full power and sped past Rainbow dash. He looked back at Rainbow Dash and gave a small wave before taking off.

"Oh no you dont!" Rainbow called out. She didnt want to use it this early in the race but she had no choice, she had to do a sonic rainboom! She narrowed her body and flapped her wings as fast as she could, electricity started pulsing from her front. Within seconds she broke the sound barrier and created a sonic rainboom, a spectra of rainbow colored rings were let out along with a loud booming. Bardock turned to see what the noise was and to his surprise Rainbow Dash was catching up to him and fast! He turned forward again and put every ounce of energy in flying, he knew he was going to regret it later but he didnt want to lose. He saw something in the distance but it wasnt thie city, it looked way too small. Bardock concentrated his sight on the upcoming object, it was the carriage the others left in! Bardock moved a good distance to the left to make shure he wouldn`t collide with the carriage even though he was far away. Rainbow saw his actions and decided to do the same but move on the right instead. They were once again neck and neck approaching the carriage.

*Meanwhile...*

"That Bardock is quite the character," Luna said to the rest of the ponies in the carriage, "I`m interested to learen more about him."

"Good luck, he wouldn`t tell me anything." Twilight said.

"I wonder who is going to win the race. Probably Dashie, she never loses!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"You can`t be too sure, darling, we still have no idea what Bardock is capable of, besides being a brute." said Rarity.

"I don`t see all the fuss, its just a race." Cadence shrugged.

"Well fer Rainbow Dash its her darn pride." Applejack added. Everypony else agreed with a nod.

"Do you guys hear that?" Fluttershy squeaked.

"Hear what?" Twilight asked.

WHOOOOOOOSH Something incredibly fast went past the carriage causing to shake from its powerful force.

"What the hay was that!" yelled Applejack.

Shining looked out the carriage and saw two colorful streaks going side by side. "Its them!"

Both competitors were straining to out fly each other. The city was coming into view, now was the time to act. Bardock pushed his body beyond his limits and with a ginal burst of energy he shot foward. Rainbow couldnt believe she was about to lose, she closed her eyes and sped as fast as her wings allowed. It wasnt enough Bardock had reached the edge of the city and abruptly stopped causing a sonic boom due to all the force. Bardock was about to gloat but when he turned around to face Rainbow Dash she was still speeding and was about headed straight for a pointed edge of a building.

"SLOW DOWN!" Bardock yelled. Rainbow shot open her eyes and saw what she was going to run into. With all her might she spread open her wings to try to get wind resistance but she was still going to fast. Bardock knew she wasn`t going to make it, he flew towards her as fast as he could.

Rainbow was scared she couldnt slow down, she was about to be impaled by the buildings edge. She closed her eyes and embraced herslef for the pain. Right when she was about to collide with the building she felt something grab her around the waist and pull her out of harms way. She opened her eyes to see Bardock holding her, flying away from the building that nearly claimed her life. He decended to the ground below where ponies started cheering for the hero who saved Rainbow Dash.

"Umm, you can let me down now." Ranbow said to Bardock. He did so and she landed on her hooves, she nearly collapsed she was so tired but she toughed it out.

The carriage wasn`t far behind and landed a few feet from Bardock. Everypony rushed out to Rainbow Dash except Princess Luna who walked towards Bardock.

"We saw what happened from afar and I must say I am very gratefull you saved one of my subjects." She thanked Bardock.

"I may be a ruthless bastard but that doesnt mean i dont care." Bardock said with a light smile.

"Indeed, lets get this over with. Im sure you`ll be fine after your actions today." Luna replied with a wink.

*Princesses` throne*

Luna led everyone to the royal throne room in the castle where her sister awaited for the arrival of Bardock. When they reached thier destination there were a large pair of double doors. Luna opened the doors with her magic and within was Princess Celestia, a white pony who was taller than Luna, her mane and tale had the same wave like motion Luna has except the colors were different. She reached Bardocks height. Luna walked ahead on the red carpet that led to her throne next to her sisters. Everyone else walked in after Luna took her seat. Bardock noticed the amount of guards in the room, he was gonna have to try his best not to get into any fights. Everypony bowed before the Princesses of night and day, Bardock took this as his cue kneel before them before another guard loses his cool.

"Greetings my little ponies and the one name Bardock." Princess Celestia said in a soothing tone. Bardock gave a nod in response, Celestia noticed he looked angy for some reason. "Bardock, may I ask what is upsetting you?"

"This is just me, Im not angry if thats what you`re thinking." he responded.

"I`m just making sure, before I go off topic again how did you come to be in Equestria? It is my understanding that you are not of this world, am I correct?" She asked

"Yes you are correct, Im an alien to this world. How I came to be in this world is beyond me, I shouldnt even be alive right now." he answered.

"And why is that?" Celestia asked. This even had Luna curious.

"Because I was in battle with a tyrant that threatened my entire race- the Saiyans, we lived under is rule for so long and he turned his back on us! Weve been loyal to him, weve KILLED entire planets for him! We had no choice! Sure the Saiyans were a race that loved battle but killing is something I did not want to do, so many innocent lives lost all because we were forced to!" Bardocks story brought tears to the eyes of most of the ponies, even Celestia had a tear rolling down her cheek. The more he told his story the angrier he got, he clenched his fist so tight he started bleeding."We were his dogs and when he didnt need us anymore he tried to put us down. I had enough when my best friend died in my arms." He took off and held the headband he wore "This was originally a white cloth, the red is the blood of my allies. I wear it to remind me of the sins the tyrant, Frieza, committed against us. As I said before I had enough, I knew he was planning to eradicate the saiyans so I took a stand alone against Frieza. The last thing I remember on that day was taking a large blast head on. My attempt to save my planet, my race, and possibly my sons were all in vain." Bardock himself had a tear rolling on his face.

"I`m sorry to hear such a sad story." Celestia said almost on the verge of crying. "Please tell me about the saiyans, but only if you want to."

"As I said before, we loved battle. It`s in our blood. We are a remarkeable race, whenever we heal from battle wether we won or lost we would become stronger in power and strength." Bardock explained, putting his headband back on. There is one more thing: the oozaru. We have the ability to turn into large ape like monsters, however this can only be done with a tail and there has to be a full mon out."

"I see your tail is missing, what happened to it?" Celestia wondered.

"I`ll come back on that later." he replied

"You said you have powers, what kind of power do you possess?" She asked.

"Pure energy," he said "it can be use in multiple ways. We mostly used our power for battle." he charged a ki ball in his palm to show what he meant.

"And how strong are you?" Luna added.

"There`s only one way to show that." he said as he took stance and started charging is energy, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" His energy was so intense electricty started pulsing around him, he powered up even further. Half his power alone made all of Canterlot shake. The ponies tried to keep themselves from falling with the shaking ground, except Pinkie Pie who went bouncing around enjoying herself. Knowing that if he went any further would cause the castle to collapse so he eased up untill his power was completely down. "Mind you I was only using half my power."

Princess Celestia and Luna sat with thier jaws on the floor. They knew he was powerful but not THAT strong. "You are truely one of the most powerful beings I`ve ever encountered." Celestia uttered. What frieghtned her was if he wast that strong, Freiza would of been a nightmare.

"There is on more thing we need to go over though, are you friend or foe?" Celestia was kind of nervouse to ask that.

"Friend. I may have done things that will make me otherwise but I assure you, I am not here with any bad intentions." he said.

"Um, may I say something?" Fluttershy asked nervously.

"Yes dear." Celestia said.

"Bardock is definetley a friend, he saved my life without having thoughts about his own safety." Fluttershy explained. "He used his power to transform to save me from a dragon."

"Is that so?" Celestia asked Bardock. He nodded to give her an answer.

"Yeah he`s a friend!" Rainbow Dash added, "He saved me from being splattered all over one of those buildings outside. Sure I may of not liked him when we first met but now I think he may be as awesome as me."

"This is also true, sister, I`ve seen him save Rainbow Dash with my own eyes." said Luna.

"Yes this is also true but I must admit, Im not a nice guy.You have to remember I am a warrior who has killed countless lives. Although it may not change what I have done, I regret doing those actions. Im also a fighter, there is no changing that. I don`t wish to cause trouble to an entire race because of my nature.

Celestia was lost in thought. She couldnt determine wether to let him stay or not, he saved two of her subjects-who also happen to be the part of the elements of harmony- but then again hes killed many and is part of a race that loves to fight. "It`s been decided, you shall stay here in Equestria for as long as you please. I, Princess Celestia, declare Bardock the Sayain an official citizen of Equestria." The ponies cheered in excitement for thier new friend.

"Princess Celestia, may I ask you for a favor?" Bardock asked.

"What is it Bardock?" she answered.

"I was told to come to you for help regrow my tail, I lost it in the battle with the dragon." Bardock said with hopes of his tail coming back.

"I can not do this," Celestia had said which dissapointed Bardock, "however, the elements of harmony can."

"Thats right, the elements restored my lovely tail when it was cut off." Rarity said matter of factly.

"It is the least I can do for you." Celestia smiled.

"Well lets not waste time, lets grow that tail back!" Twilight announced.

*Somewhere else in the castle*

Celestia took Bardock and the bearers of the elements of harmony to a hallway that ended with some sort of door that had a special lock to it. Celestia walked to the end of the hallway where there laid a rounded hole in the wall. She lowered her head and put her horn in the lock and released magic, as soon as she did this an audible click was heard and the dor separated revealing a pedestal that held a treasure chest. She levitated the small chest and opened it revealing multiple items of jewelery, the elements of harmony. All elements were levitated to thier respectful bearers and put on.

"Bardock, are you ready to experience the power of the elements of harmony?" Celestia asked the sayain, as usaul he nodded in response. "Alright then, whatever you don`t fight it."

With that Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy activated the power of the elements. Each pony levitated and the jewel encrusted in thier necklaces, and Twilight`s crown, started to glow. Soon a rainbow spectra blast was shot at Bardock. He could feel the power coursing through his spine, then he felt it. His tail was growing back. When the magic faded Bardock stood there arms crosed and tail flicking about. He wrapped it around his waist and walked towards the group.

"Thanks." he said with a small smile. The elements of harmony gathered around him and gave him a hug. "Alright, enough sentimental crap." he said.

*Ponyville*

After all the excitement in Canterlot, the mane six with thier new friend had one left thing to solve.

"So where`s he gunna stay?" Applejack asked the grop.

"He can stay with me, um only if he wants to." Fluttershy offered.

"If you think you can handle a Saiyan." Bardock answered.

"Ill take that as a yes." Fluttershy said, "Its getting late Ill see you girls tomarrow." Fluttershy said her goodbyes and Bardock just did a simple wave at the rest of the group. Time passed and they finally reached Fluttershys cottage. Right before she opened the door she asked Bardock, "So what do you eat?"

Bardock replied, "Depends, what kind of meat do you have?"
