Angelleah Hudson: I got nothing….

It had been a week since my disappearance, and my Skype group had been coming up with theories of my disappearance. Angelleah (or "Angel" for short) was a bit bored with coming up with theories so she decided to go out to her dad's garden and enjoy some raspberries. As she walked out she noticed something different; there was a pathway leading into the forest that was behind her house. As Angel looked back she saw through the window her dad was on the computer. Surely he wouldn't mind if she went out for a bit and explored this new territory that lurked behind the garden yonder…

"Now then let's see where this leads to”, Angel said with a giggle, and took off on that path with a jogging start. As she walked through the forest, there was a sudden flash of light. Not expecting a small drop she fell and landed on her back; letting out a disgruntled groan of pain as she did.

Whilst she wonders down the bridge, she waves her fist at an unseen entity and proclaiming it, “those god damn fairies…."

She tried to go home, as she wanted to(truthfully trying. The darkness wasn't the most tempting place to be, and the prospect of frightening her father made her angry with herself), but the universe didn’t like that idea; she began going backwards toward the other end of the bridge, and soon crossed over to whatever lay on the other side.

As Angel woke up she found herself in strange forest. Not the same small glade as she had walked into on Earth, as the trees themselves where of a different species. As she got up, she heard a low growling and a flash of worry went across her face. Out of the bushes came several wolves, wolves of wood. They began to encircle her, sizing up their chosen prey, debating what species their larger than normal prey was(and if they could eat it). Angel wasn't going to just stand there, gaping like a fool, not retaliating. But fighting them regularly would do me no good anyway, she reminds herself, remembering they are not made of flesh. Out of nowhere, a cloaked figure came out of the same bushes and kicked one of the timber wolves so hard it was flung to a tree far on the right. When the cloaked figured kicked, his hood that covered his head and face came off, revealing brown hair. On turning, Angel gained full view of his light blue eyes.

"Micah, is that you?” a voice asks, suddenly. I jumped up when I realized who I had just saved.

"Angel! What the hell are you doing here?” I yelled at Angel. But suddenly, the deep bellow of a wolf’s growl snapped us back to reality and the timber wolf I had kicked was out for the count; the force of being kicked into the side of the tree had exploded the wolf into branches. We were still out numbered, but we didn't plan to go down without a fight. However, Angel gave me an annoyed look.

"You have to take care of this, unless you have a flamethrower on you", She warned. Well shit looks like I got to do this on my own. As one of the timber wolves pounced we ducked, and it hit the tree. It was still active, so it began getting up, so I grabbed its head and smashed it back into that tree.

Two more timber wolves attempted to pounce me, so I performed a front kick; then intercepted the second with a side kick. Both attacks caused the timber wolves to explode on contact with the ground.

But my victory was cut short as I felt a huge pain in my shoulder. One of the timber wolves had bitten me, it’s wooden teeth had torn into my shoulder, as though my shoulder was nothing but butter. Angel realized she could help, and placed her fingers between the notches of his mouth, preventing him from both moving his jaw, and biting down harder. Using this tactic, she removed his mouth from my shoulder.

Unable to bite, he whined softly. She quickly wrestled him to the ground, using her arm around his neck, in time for me to be ready, and crush in the wolf’s wooden skull with a single foot.

"Micah! Your shoulder!” she shouted, worried.  As I knelt down, cringing because of the pain, Angel took off her hoodie and began wrapping it around my shoulder to stop the bleeding a bit.

"Micah…. care to explain to me WHAT IS GOING ON!" I told her we were actually in Equestria, but about a couple weeks after the 1,000th Summer Sun Celebration. All Angel could do was let out a small "oh my" as we went through town to the hospital.

"Doctors, where are you? This patient needs immediate medical attention!" As the doctors lead me to the emergency room, Angel began to think. I can’t believe it, we really are in Equestria! Micah told me to keep quiet about anything of the future, so we don't screw up anything, but even then; that isn’t going to help.

Just then, a sudden influx of people came from the hospital doors, and who was it but the Mane Six whom bust in. But then, they noticed Angel. Primarily, Pinkie noticed Angel.

"OHOHOHANOTHERHUMAN!WHAT'SYOURNAMEIMPINKIEPIE!WHATSYOURFAVORITETHINGTODO?WHYAREYOUINTHEHOSPITAL?" Pinkie was interrupted by Applejack’s hoof.

"Sorry bout’ that but she tends to get a bit excited." Twilight and Fluttershy approached, and asked if what they heard was true about Micah. After Angel finished telling them everything, I had walked out into the lobby, catching a glimpse of them all together. Twilight and Fluttershy rushed over to check on me, to see if I was all right, but I assured them it was nothing serious.

Pinkie, to no one’s surprise, got the idea to throw Angel a welcoming party and took off. But within a an hour and half, Angel received an invitation to go to the Apple Family's barn.

But as soon as we entered, a sudden chorus of “surprise” filled the room, revealing it to be the party Pinkie had planned. Rather than asking questions, we just joined the party.

“This isn’t a game of twenty questions, you know… I don’t feel like answering anymore!  Talk about it after I get some sleep, because this entire thing is a headache in itself.” Angel stated, in an annoyed state. She saw Pinkie eat a cupcake, and remembered how Pinkie ate her cupcakes. Feeling brave, she decided to give it a try. Angel wondered over to the snack bar, got a cupcake, and covered it in a bit of hot sauce. When Angel tried it, it wasn't good at the least, and the spice she believed to get dulled by the frosting actually became more violent a flame.  Angel began trying to spit it out; when that failed, she searched for a way to cool her mouth off. I was a bit busy laughing because of this, which only rewarded me a glare. Not a glare from Angel, but from Twilight. After explaining to Twilight a bit about how friendships work back on Earth, I went out and got Angel a glass of milk, and she chugged it down eagerly.

Though, as she was drinking, Pinkie was being silly(in the most unintentional suggesting way) in the background which earned  Angel a snorted laugh, causing her to snort milk out; Which got me laughing again, rolling on the floor. After about another hour of partying, there was a sudden knock on the doors, and Luna strode in. Everyone bowed including Angel and me.

"We came to see the new visitor of our land. Plus, we also wanted to see our friend Micah again." As Luna approached Angel, Angel latched herself onto Luna in an accomplished hug (who whispered afterword to me that this was better than buying a Wooona custom doll) Luna was confused at first, but I told her that she was a friend of mine, and said to go on.

After that the party, I went outside, to talk with Luna.

"So we heard about what happened.  Are your injuries well healed? “I told her my shoulder was all right, but I changed the subject quickly; I had to ask something.

"Luna, when we were fighting Nightmare Moon… when the elements activated, they did something to me." I began focusing, and the glow of Light and Darkness appeared.

"My we see that thou also has magic, but we wonder why thou has both Light and Dark magic."

I began telling her it probably represents the light and dark side of humanity.As we talked Angel walked out, but was as she appeared to also be glowing.  After a bit of talking, we reached the conclusion that in a week, Angel and I would come to Canterlot to learn about, and how to control our newfound magic. At the same time, Angel’s welcoming party finally ended, and Fluttershy said she had an extra guest room Angel could use. Thankfully, now we didn't have to worry about that.

When I was lying down, back on my bed at Twilight's house, I began writing in my journal and finished my latest entry; before I headed off into a blissful sleep.

But I knew things would only change now that Angel and I we’re here.
