A Bridge To A New World

I've gotten a little used to my new life in Equestria, so far the only real challenge is giving up meat. It's been about maybe three weeks since Luna returned to Equestria, so Celestia and I have been trying to get her back up to date with how the world is now. I found out Luna had become younger due to the elements and due to date her mental age was about fourteen. Twilight Spike, and I decided to go help AJ out in the farm since I've been working for them after the first couple of days of my arrival. The townspeople of Ponyville were a bit hesitant around me like I thought but they been getting used to me, besides the occasional glances I get. AJ and Big Mac made a bet saying that if AJ got some apples to the barn before lunch time he would have to walk through town in one of Granny Smith's girdles.

"Nope, nope, nope, not that one." Spike's just throwing apples out of the basket just so he can find the perfect one and I just been catching them so they don't go to waste the apples here are just the best. Spike just found this perfect apple and ate it whole, just some people can't enjoy food. Suddenly Spike let out a belch and a scroll appeared, while the pendant around my neck glowed and shot out a black flame and turned into a scroll. Spike was reading his letter aloud while I read my silently to myself. Just as I was halfway through AJ and Twilight gasp and said together "The Grand Galloping Gala!"

'Oh boy here we go let the chaos commence' At the bottom of my letter there was a golden ticket with Luna's cutie mark on it with the note saying it's a ticket to the Triple G. Spike had the look of annoyance on his face as one again he let out a belch and the two tickets floated into his hands. AJ had the look of excitement on her face.

'Poor poor Twilight a rough day is ahead of you. I would just tell you that you can send a letter asking for more tickets but then that would be one friendship report down the drain and a bit of the future screwed up.' Just as soon when AJ finished her little speech as to why she wanted to go Dash landed directly on AJ and Twi while I tried my best to catch their baskets. No sense of working if the apples are going to go to waste. I told Spike I was going to drop the apples back off at the farm while they deal with the tickets. When I set the baskets down I pulled out a small black journal I kept with me. I figured if I'm going to be here might as well write down my adventures and experiences here. Half way through writing a tug on my leg snapped me back into reality. It was none other than Apple Bloom, I told her a few of my own small adventures back on Earth and she was interested in them.

"Um Micah, I was wonderin if you could tell me another one of your stories?" I put the tab on my journal and closed it as I was about to begin my story

"All right Apple Bloom I'm going to tell you the one time my friend and I had to run from a train." Apple Bloom let out a gasp and snapped to attention as I began my story

"So one day my friend Graham and I were out in the woods behind his house, we had a habit of smashing stuff in there since thats where everyone threw trash there so why not destroy it. So Graham wanted to try something new where we would cross a bridge and drop something off it and smash the object. So after we waited for the first train to pass I got down to the bottom and he was about to drop it when he did. We stayed down under the bridge until the next train passed and left. So as we crossed the bridge Graham turned around and he saw a train!" Apple Bloom was really paying attention now if she was in a chair she would have been one inch from falling off.

"So we busted out into full sprint and tried to get to the other side of the bridge. Right as I made it to the other side I jumped and slide down the rocks and dashed up hill into the tree's ignoring every branch, twig, and without care slipping on the mud and dirt. My friend made it across a few seconds after me and did the same thing, so as we waited for the train to pass we made it back to his house and took a break for awhile." I finished off my story as Apple Bloom went out to go play with Twist, so I got back to writing in my journal. After I finished there was a loud bang of the farm doors closing. I slide my journal back into my pocket and saw Twilight panting while leaning against the barn door. So I got an apple from the basket and tried to give it to her before she turned it down with a annoyed look.

"I know what your plan is. Feed me even when I haven't eating all day and try to get tickets to the Gala well to bad you're going to have to wait like everypony else." After explaining to her that I had no need to try and get a ticket since I had a ticket of my own. I showed her my ticket to prove that I was trying to get her extra ticket and she accepted the apple.

"Thanks Micah I've been starving all day and haven't gotten a chance to eat because of these tickets."

'Well then let's see all we have to do it make it to the library where I'm sure the rest of the girls are and then it's time for a letter to Celestia.

"Here Twilight lets try and go to the library where you can rest." Twilight seemed a bit hesitant about the plan but she knew I wouldn't plan anything against her. So as we traveled through town Pinkie tried to get the ticket and then the whole town knew about the ticket.

"Uh Twilight I think we should run." I said as the crowd of ponies grew, so Twilight, Spike, and I busted out into full sprint trying whatever we can to out run the ponies. We we're caught in a dead end where Twilight used her magic to teleport us. It wasn't very fun to be split by split and reformed because now the edges of my hair is a bit burn along with a few parts of my clothes. Right as we turned off all the lights and locked everything the lights came back on the the girls we're all there. Twilight let out a annoyed yell and began talking about how she couldn't take it anymore. One by one the girls began saying it doesn't matter anymore because they saw the effect they had it was causing Twilight. Well besides Rainbow who all got a annoyed look from all of us. Twilight sent her Friendship Report and the the tickets to Celestia and got the response back with seven tickets. They all looked confused as to why I didn't get one and showed them my ticket which Luna gave me. Rainbow was the first to speak

"So wait it doesn't matter that Twilight had an extra ticket to you, because you already got a ticket from Princess Luna!" I gave a nod and the looked pretty annoyed at me till I told them I was a busy all day and I knew things would work out in the end. So as the rest of the girls went home, Twilight, Spike, and I all went to bed. Twilight was kind enough for me to use her extra guest bed which was a bit small but it would do. But before I went to sleep I stared out at the night sky as tradition to me and smiled.

"May you have a wonderful night Princess." I would have to visit Luna again sometime soon but for now it's time to sleep.
