Dude, Where's My House?!
Dude, where's my house?!
Load Full StoryNext ChapterPinkie Pie yawned lazily as she woke from the floor and opened her eyes slowly, her vision still blurry. She blinked a few times as she scratched a itchy spot on her back. Eyes now clear enough to see, she looked around the library. It took a few second to notice that she had somehow fallen asleep on top of Rainbow Dash and she really hoped that they didn't do anything the previous night. She also noticed that the library was a complete wreck, cupcakes caked on the walls, books on the ground in piles, a pool of pink icing on the floor, and even a pegasi stuck to the ceiling with bubble gum.
"Uh... Dashie? You might want to see this." Rainbow woke slowly, yawning loudly as she scratched her messy mane. She shook her head and looked around at the sigh before her.
"Whoa, did we do that?" She looked up at the pegasi stuck on the ceiling, recognizing it immediately as the wonderbolt, Soarin. No doubt he had come to their party for the pie, but why were they in Twilight's library? More importantly, where was the librarian mare?
"I... think? Maybe we had to many special cupcakes..."
"Hey, you're the one that insisted on eating an entire batch! Other than that, I don't remember a thing about last night." The two continued to look over the sight before them. If Twilight saw them... They were in trouble. BIG trouble. She had once teleported the duo to Canterlot and made the two walk back after they had accidentally covered Spike in cake batter and released him into the library.
"Maybe we should get out of here." Pinkie nodded to her Rainbow maned friend.
"Good idea." The two crouched and crawled to the door, opening it with such silence that not even Fluttershy could lay claim to. Upon exiting, they closed the door behind them and inhaled the sweet summer air. Pinkie looked at Rainbow, then at her wing. Her first reaction was a gasp, but quickly turned to laughter that brought tears to her eyes.
"Your.. your wing!"
"What do you mean my- oh, buck me..." As she looked back, she saw her wing was wrapped in bubble wrap. "Seriously? Yeah, that must have been some party last night."
"Let's go to Sugarcube corner. We can get that off there."
"I can't even move it! Would you stop laughing?" Pinkie tried as hard as she could to stop from laughing, but the ridiculousness of it was too much.
"Sorry, I'm just thinking about what I had to do to get you to do that!"
"It better have been something good... Seriously, my whole wing is completely numb!" The two began to make their ways down the street towards Sugarcube corner. As they walked, they got disapproving looks from the various inhabitants of the town. They stopped as they heard a angry yell from a mare from behind them.
"Look at what you did to my mane!" The duo turned to see Minuette, or more commonly known in town as Colgate, due to her toothpaste colored mane. Both stifled laughter as they looked at her mane, which was now spiked up in a Mohawk.
"Holy shit!" Pinkie fell over laughing at the mare, who was less than pleased at the outburst. Rainbow simply bit her lower lip as she tried to keep from laughing, her eyes slowly watering.
"You two are dicks. This is going to take me forever to get back to normal! Did you use Minotaur glue?" She reached a hoof up and touched her spiked mane, the movement not even rusting her mane. Obviously they did use something heavy duty. This of course was too much for Rainbow, who finally cried out in laughter as she fell backwards. "Yeah, yeah. Keep laughing."
"Sorry, sorry!" Pinkie slowly crawled to her feet, still laughing in between breaths. "It's just so funny!"
"No, it's not. Don't know why I agreed to let you two style my mane last night... I knew you two were drunk, but damn!"
"We were drunk? Well, that might explain why we don't remember anything." Colgate rolled her eyes.
"Of course you don't remember anything. I'll let you off with a warning this time, since you two were obviously baked and drunk. But if it happens again..." She backed away slowly, pointing a hoof towards her eyes and then both of the ponies before turning around and walking away.
"Well, she mad. It didn't look that bad!" Rainbow stood from the ground, wiping tears of joy from her eyes. "Come on, I'd like to be able to fly soon." She flapped her left wing, the right one not even moving at all. With a sigh, she wished she could be in the sky right now. At least far enough away from Ponyville when Twilight found her library. There was sure to be hell to pay for that.
"Okie dokie loki!" The two continued down the road, nearing the final turn before Sugarcube corner. Turning the corner, they looked at Sugarcube corner. Or rather, where it used to be. The two looked at each other with expressions of confusion, before dashing quickly to the lot where the building used to be.
"Dude, where's my house?" Pinkie Pie looked where the door used to be and imagined it opening.
"I don't know. Where's your house, dude?" The two didn't normally call each other dude, but it was the only word they could think of.
"No, seriously. Where's my house? It's supposed to be RIGHT HERE!" She looked at Rainbow, who was now snickering as she tried to keep from laughing. "This isn't funny! I have no idea where my house is!"
"Maybe you just moved it?" Pinkie looked at Rainbow Dash, who was now nearing a full laugh at the seemingly inexplicable even of the disappearing house.
"It's a house. Not a cart, nor a simple thing you misplace! It's an entire building! How do you move an entire building somewhere and forget about it?" Rainbow Dash was now in a full laugh. Pinkie, slightly annoyed at the disappearance of her house, smacked Rainbow lightly on the back of the head. "It's not funny! My house. Is. Missing." She looked at the empty lot and smiled, a laugh slowly bellowing within her. "Okay, it's funny."
