Dude, Where's My House?!
Doozies Are Magic!
Previous ChapterThe two finished laughing at the mysterious disappearance of the house and turned to each other.
"So yeah, we better figure out where you house went." Pinkie nodded to Dashie in agreement.
"Yeah, I left my cupcake mix in there! Oh, no... I left the," Pinkie gulped, "special frosting that Fluttershy ordered for her birthday cake in there." Both turned wide eyed. Rainbow flew over to Pinkie and grabbed her by the shoulder and began to shake her violently.
"If she doesn't get her frosting, we are dead, dude!"
"Q-q-ui-u-it-"Pinkie pushed Rainbow off if her, "SHAKING ME!"
"Sorry, I just don't want to deal with Fluttershy when she's angry... It's scary. Twilight told me she once snapped a bear's neck!"
"Okay, don't panic... The house can't be too far from here-"
"MY LIBRARY!" The two friends looked at each other with alarm.
"Well, looks like we're about to have a major problem."
"Speak for yourself, Dashie!" Pinkie jumped into a nearby mailbox and closed it behind her.
"Hey! Not fair." Rainbow went wide eyes as she saw Twilight skid to a halt at the end of the road. She let out a small squeak like noise as Twilight charged her. She wanted to fly off, but knew that just facing her punishment now would be best.
"Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie!" Twilight slid on her hooves as she stopped in front of Rainbow and the mailbox.
"Uh, hey, uhm, Twilight."
"Don't 'hey, Twilight' me! Pinkie, get out of the mailbox." Both looked at the mailbox as an annoyed grunt emanated from it. Slowly, Pinkie crawled from it, her body still in the shape of a mailbox. Within seconds, she popped back into her usual shape. "Mind telling me why you two trashed my library?"
"Uh, would you believe us if we said we didn't do it?"
"No."
"Oh, okay then. It was an... accident?" The two smiled sheepishly at Twilight, who stared back with bemusement.
"Yeah, I'll believe that as soon as I believe that Rarity hates fashion." The two looked at each other and sighed.
"Okay, we're sorry." Rainbow took over the conversation, while Pinkie rubbed her hoof back and forth across the ground. "We actually don't remember anything about what happened last night. All we know is that we messed your library up and gave Colgate an awesome new hairstyle."
"You two did that? Yeah, she didn't seem happy about that."
"We'd help you clean it, but we have a slight problem."
"The missing building? Yeah, I noticed. How you two managed to misplace a house is... Actually, if Pinkie was involved, I can see it happening. Just, please... Don't mess anything else up, alright?"
"No promises, Twi."
"I'm going to go clean the library and help Soarin get clean... How you managed to strap him to the ceiling with bubblegum is beyond me." Twilight shook her head as she made her way back to her library, her anger dissolved into pity for the two friends.
"Well, that went better than expected." Rainbow looked at Pinkie, who was standing on the mailbox looking around for the missing building.
"You're not going to find it that way. we'd be better off... Hey, what's that in your mane?" Pinkie shrugged and reached into her mane, pulling out a receipt of some kind.
"It's dated yesterday. Looks like we visited the spa..."
"Oh, great! I hope Rarity didn't see me... I'll never hear the end of it."
"Oh, don't be coy, Dashie! I know you enjoy the spa."
"No, I don't." The two headed down the road towards the spa as Derpy landed by the missing buildig.
"Oops, did I do that?" She touched the area where the building used to stand and sighed. "Nope, wasn't me." She smiled and flew upside down away from the building.
