"Comet wake up!"

Comet Tail awoke to the sight of Twilight looking down at him.

"We need to get ready." Said Twilight.

"Ready for what?" Asked Comet Tail.

Twilight sighed.

"The penthouse. You slept in."

Comet Tail's eyes shot wide open.

"Shoot I forgot!"

Comet tail got off the couch and looked around frantically.

"How long did I-"

"Calm down." Said Twilight. "You have time to get ready."

"What about breakfast?" Asked Comet Tail.

Twilight pointed at the kitchen area. A muffin and an apple was on the counter.

"Im going to brush my teeth first." Said Comet
Tail.

Comet Tail walked upstairs as Spike walked down and approached Twilight.

"What am I supposed to do there?" Asked Spike.

"Im sure they have something at the penthouse that you can kill time with." Said Twilight.

"Couldn't I stay with Shining or your dad?"

"Not today." Said Twilight. "Dad and Shining are doing some father-son bonding."

Spike groaned.

"They better have a pool table." Grumbled Spike.

Comet Tail walked down the stairs.

"Ready."

"Lets go then." Said Twilight.

The three walked out of the Suite.

The three approached a penthouse.

"Here it is." Said Twilight.

"I'll knock." Said Comet Tail.

Comet Tail knocked on the door.

"One second!" Called a voice.

The door opened and Grey sky stood on the other side.

"Welcome, come inside."

The three stepped inside. Grey bent down to Spike's eye level.

"And you must be Spike."

Spike yawned.

"Yep."

Grey raised an eyebrow.

"You don't sound like your happy." Said Grey skies.

Comet Tail and Twilight looked around the room. The floors were wood, the walls were painted white and decorated with pictures and paintings.

"Wonder how much this place cost." Thought Comet Tail.

Twilight noticed Mystic Shine approach from a nearby hallway.

"So glad you could make it." Said Mystic Shine.

Mystic Shine looked at Spike.

"Do you like games?" Asked Mystic Shine.

"Depends."

"Grey, why don't you take Comet and Spike over to the game room." Said Mystic Shine.

Spike immediately perked up.

"Game room?"

Grey sky chuckled.

"Well when you have as much money as we do, you can afford a few luxuries." Said Grey. "Come on then, lets go."

Grey Sky led the two down a hallway.

"Guess that just leaves us." Said Twilight.

Mystic shine smirked.

"Guess it does....."

The game room was a medium sized room filled with several games inside. Spike was playing an arcade game while Grey and Comet played a game of pool. Grey was holding his piil cue in his wings while Comet held his with magic.

"I haven't played this game in years." Said Comet Tail.

"Well when you have money kicking around you can afford these luxuries." Said Grey.

Grey lined up a shot and hit the cue ball, sending it around the table.

"Drat."

Comet Tail prepared his shot.

"So hows Ponyville?" Asked Grey. "You got any friends there?"

"A few." Replied Comet Tail.

Comet tail took his shot, knocking a ball into a hole.

"What are they like?"

Comet Tail lined up his next shot.

"There my friend Caramel. He's a good pony."

Comet Tail hit the cue ball into the corner pocket.

"Scratch." Said Grey.

"Shame."

Grey took the ball out of the hole, set it on the table and got ready to take his shot.

"Go on." Said Grey.

"Then theres my friend Thunderlane from the weather team." Continued Comet Tail. "Also my friend Pokey, he's a Canterlot pony."

Grey hit a ball into a side pocket.

"Ya dont say."

While they played, Twilight and Mystic Shine sat in the living room, talking.

"So then my friend Rarity tries to take the thing off, but she forgot about the paint." Said Twilight. "It took her three days to get the stains out."

Mystic Shine chuckled.

"Your friends sound like interesting ponies."

"They are." Said Twilight.

Mystic Shine smiled.

"So hows your relationship with Comet?" Asked Mystic Shine.

Twilight blushed slightly.

"Its pretty good." Said Twilight. "We had a rocky start, but it all worked out in the end."

Mystic shine smiled.

"Thats good to hear."

The game was tied. The winner was whoever sunk the 8-ball first.

"Your move." Said Grey.

Comet Lined up his shot and hit the Cue ball. The ball rolled around the table but failed to hit the 8-ball.

"Aw...."

Grey prepared his shot.

"The key is hitting the right spot." Said Grey.

He hit the cue ball, sending it at the cue ball and knocking it into the corner pocket.

"Then it all falls into place."

Comet Tail set his cue on a nearby rack.

"Well played." Said Comet Tail.

Grey looked up at a wall clock.

"Horseapples." Muttered Grey. "Im afraid I must cut our gathering short. I forgot about some reservations I had."

Spike looked away from his game and frowned.

"Awww..... Already?" Groaned Spike.

"Don't worry Spike." Said Grey. "Next time your up you can play longer."

Grey hung his cue on the rack and led the other two males out of the room.

The three stepped into the living room.

"Mystic we have some reservations I forgot about." Said Grey.

"Oh, I totally forgot." Said Mystic Shine.

She turned to face Twilight.

"Im sorry, but we have to go."

"Its alright." Said Twilight.

The two mares got up.

"Thanks for having us." Said Comet Tail.

"No." Said Grey with a smile. "Thank you for Coming."

Comet Tail stood in a bedroom, looking through a closet. Shining Armor sat on the bed behind him.

"See anything?" Asked Shining Armor.

Comet Tail browsed through the Closet's clothes.

"Not yet." Replied Comet Tail.

Comet Tail noticed a blue article of clothing hanging up.

"Hm?"

Comet Tail moved some items to get a better view of the blue object. It was a Blue formal suit with a white trim. Comet Tail floated it out of the closet with magic and set it on the bed.

"This looks nice." Said Comet Tail.

Shining Armor smiled.

"I wore than tux to a royal ball that Cadence and I attended." Said Shining Armor. "It should fit you."

Comet Tail smiled and began to fold the tux, much to Shining Armor's confusion.

"Your not supposed to fold those." Said Shining Armor.

"I know a spell to get fold marks out." Said Comet Tail. "Don't worry."

Comet Tail set the folded tux into his saddlebag.

"You interested in staying for dinner?" Asked Shining Armor.

"No thanks." Replied Comet Tail. "Me and Twi are heading to my folk's place for stargazing."

Comet Tail slipped the saddlebag onto his back and stepped put of the room.

Meanwhile, Mystic Shine and Grey Skies sat on their couch, talking to each other.

"We learned enough about them today." Said Grey

"Everything is in motion." Said Mystic Shine. "By midnight tomorrow, those two won't be such a happy couple."

The both laughed.

"And we will have the last laugh.......

When the three returned from Stargazing with Comet's parents, there was a large cardboard box in front of their suite door.

"Huh?" muttered Spike.

"Good its here." Said Twilight.

Twilight bent down to open the box as Comet Tail watched.

"What is it?" Asked Comet Tail.

"I had Rarity send up a dress for the charity tomorrow." Replied Twilight.

She levitated a familiar blue dress from out of the box.

"Your gala dress?" Asked Spike.

Twilight nodded in response.

"Its getting late." Said Twilight.

She set her dress back in the box and picked it up with magic.

"We got a big night ahead of us tomorrow."

The three stepped inside the suite.
