The gears of equestria!

"They're pressing us hard!" I yelled, this was going to be a very long battle, and we knew it. "Grub hole on our flank!" shouted Marcus pointed at me, private Jack Studdon. "Go help the other delta with the grub hole!" he shouted. "Yes sir!" I ran to the aid of Cole and Baird. "I'm here to help sirs!" I said. "good, now throw a frag at the hole, that'll help a lot" stated Baird. I pulled my frag, and begin the medieval flail swinging motion in order to throw it. The explosion was massive and I was hit by a little shrapnel, but the hole was closed. "Shit that was a bad run" said Cole, in his over enthusiastic tone. "Shit, there's a sniper" said Baird in  a smart-ass tone... as usual. I screamed when the bullet slammed into my arm, Cole ran to my side and picked me up. "Go find a medic" he said, I began to run for the infirmary we'd set up, but something happened, and I ran into a portal, screaming.

Something with a yellow body and pink hair got up and walked toward me. "How can i help" my face was in shock.... it took my helmet off, and they all gave a quizzical look "what... are you?" asked a pink.... thing with pink hair. An orange whatever these things were stuffed a limb in the pink one's mouth and said "don't mind her" in a rather, southern accent. "I-i'm a human..... ya know.... two legs.... arms..... a head" I was at a loss for words, but I just said, "just follow me" we all stepped through the portal, and the things all gave amazed looks, but then looked at each other as I called for Marcus. "Marcus!" I called "I got some help!" as Marcus ran toward me, dodging bullets he asked "what the fuck are these!" "they..... I don't know sir" I replied "but they can help!" "get the one with wings scouting now!" he commanded "yes sir!" I shouted in reply. The blue one looked at me "if you want me to scout, I can hide in the clouds" she stated. I stared at her with a dumb expression....... a purple...... unicorn? argued "this planet may not work like Equestria Rainbow!" she yelled at her.... accomplice...... then a white unicorn approached me "i'm so sorry, where are my manners...... i'm Rarity" she had a stuck up accent, like she was from a fancy city. "ma'am, we're in war, there's no need to talk with an accent like that" she gasped, but calmed herself and walked away. the so called "ponies" introduced themselves to me one by one. "Okay, so can Fluttershy get the bullet out of my arm?" the small yellow pony nodded.

"Rainbow Dash get scouting" I commanded "Twilight, chairman Prescott may want to see you" I said "this way, all of you" they all followed, except for 'Rainbow Dash' who'd gone scouting already. I burst into the chairman's office. "Chairman Prescott!" I said "we have a very good strategist with us, and she's willing to give you the best positions depending on where grub holes appear" "well then bring her in!" said Prescott happily I pushed Twilight into the room and the chairman had a funny look on his face "this.... is the strategist" he said smugly "sir, just let her show you" I said, and when Twilight got busy impressing the chairman, we went to the clinic, where I gave Fluttershy the tools to fix up my  arm, and I tensed my muscles, preparing for the intense pain, but Fluttershy already had the bullet out, I looked at her thankfully, and asked her how she'd done it, and he answer was "a little tender love and care never hurts" she had a shy smile on her face, I gave her a hug, and thanked her "but there are other gears that need your help" I said, pointing around the infirmary.

Fluttershy nodded and got to work, giving the same love and care a mother would to her babies. The only two left were Applejack and Rarity. "So, anything you can do to help?" "I can supply apples" Applejack said "I suppose I could make armor, but not in that DRAB blue" said Rarity "it's dreadful" "can you allow me to preview your work?" I asked politely "yes darling, you may, i'll make a set of armor for you, though it may be difficult, considering your very different from  a pony." "I don't care if it itches like a sweater " I said "if it protects me, I love it" Rarity then stated "I can't work here, you need to come with me to my boutique" she said "yes ma'am, and Applejack" I said pointing at the tangerine colored pony "we need the food by tomorrow, can you do that?" "i'll do my best" she said confidently "thank you" I said "s' all no problem" she said, smiling. "Now Ms.Rarity" I said "can you take me to see the armor" "sure thing" she said, pulling me forward with magic. We stepped back through the portal, where I got weird looks from all the ponies, and I returned it, but we eventually got to Rarity's boutique, where she quickly fashioned a set of golden armor, just like mine, the exact same size.

When I went to the changing room, far too small for a person, I came out looking like a fresh soldier. "Rarity, I mean Ms. Rarity, this armor is amazing, it fits better then my lest set!" I said, through the helmet. "Please don't call me Ms, Rarity, after all, you said this is war" she stated. I smiled, she couldn't see it, but I smiled. and when we got back to Sera all of the gears were looking at me like I was stuck up, and Rarity beamed brightly, seeing how happy I was with her work, and i was still complimenting her on it. "Honestly Rarity, I don't know how you did it, but it's amazing." "oh, no it's was a few tricks" "well those few tricks made some very good armor" she blushed. "stop, your flattering me" "you wanna see flattering?" I asked jokingly "hey guys! this pony made my armor!" I shouted to everyone pointing at Rarity.

She was surrounded by gears in seconds "now come on guys, she needs space" they all backed up. Rarity was blushing, her face a very bright crimson. "Alright crimson cheeks, lets go check on Fluttershy." We walked to the infirmary, and it was empty. I took off my helmet and looked around. "My, that is some impressive armor mister......" i'd forgotten to introduce myself" "whoops, call me Jack" I said "why is the infirmary so empty?" "I took care of all of the patients" "All of them?" I asked in surprise  "yes Mr. Jack" "just jack, Fluttershy" i told her with a chuckle. "Wheres Twilight?" I asked "I haven't seen her since you took her to your chairman" stated Fluttershy. "Okay, lets go get her" I said. We slowly made our way to Prescott's tent, and when we walked in, we all gasped.
